Amazing restaurant and Sushi! I went for lunch and they weren’t too busy. They have an amazing special where you get 2 specialty rolls and salad/​soup. Get the Godzilla roll and the Hot Lava! Both amazing! Their hibachi is awesome also! They have a nice bar area and hibachi tables. I really don’t understand why it seemed so slow when I went. Truly great food!

Typical hibachi place, but very good! Service was good, sushi was great! We didn’t have to wait for a table and it was a clean place. Fairly easy to get to and there is a mall right by it.

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and by no means food experts. Just wanted some good steak and Lil Tokyo had seemingly positive reviews.
Our waitress was brand spanking new and quite flustered having been given almost the entire dining section. That being said, she forgot about our soup and salad until we asked later in the meal. Thankfully my wife and I are not jerks and have both worked in food service, so we completely understood and told her she didn’t need to apologize. It helped that she was exceptionally sweet. She made it right for us immediately.
It also helped that we loved the food. Soup was awesome, rice was awesome, veggie mix was awesome, scallops were super flavorful and steak was done right. Atmosphere was also great. Watching the hibachi cooks was fun even though we sat at a dining table. Whole place just seemed happy.
Overall a great and experience and would definitely come back if we lived near here. Left our waitress a big tip too since we knew it would encourage her. I advise you to do so to your waitresses even if they screw up, cause odds are they feel way worse about it than you do.

I go here a lot, and their food is amazing. I love their hibachi and sushi. One of the best in Myrtle Beach. I recommend you give them a try.

Let me say, I have had a lot of Japaneese food over the years whether it be express hybachi or acutual cook in front of you hybachi. This place is in my top 3 best I’ve ever had, maybe even the best. This place can be a little difficult to find as it is tucked in next to the Grand Coastal Mall. There were no patrons at the hybachi grills when we walked in and, we wanted to sit there as that is part of the experience. I thought that they may not sit us there because no other patrons were waiting or behind us. This was not the case and they were happy to sit us at a hybachi grill. No one came in and we ended up getting our own table and personal chef which was neat. We got the early bird specials and they were priced right and the perfect portion size so that you didn’t leave miiserable. The chef was great. He was funny but not obnoxious like throwing food around being annoying. Some people like that, personally I don’t. He did struggle with the grill as it wasn’t getting hot enough to his liking so it took a little longer to get the food cooked but we didn’t mind at all. Had a good conversation with him as well. I had steak and shrimp and my wife had steak and chicken. The steak was cooked perfect, tender, and juicy. The shrimp were quite tasty. Service was great, always checking on us and making sure we were ok. I will also say that they have the best I shrimp sauce (they call it yum yum sauce) I have ever had. That’s says quite a bit and I was very impressed by this resturant. If I could give more stars I would. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great sushi restaurant and large servings! Definitely a got to if you’re in Myrtle beach!

We had a party of 15 which they accommodated nicely with two tables. The staff was real friendly and our cook was very comedic. Plenty of fried rice and vegetables. I ordered the scallops and shrimp combination and received only for scallops was a bit disappointed with the portion size.

Amazing!!! If you like listing to great country tunes while savouring your sushi, then look no further. So glad I randomly stumbled upon this location. Waitress had wonderful recommendations and their larger plates are definitely the way to go for value wise. I don’t think there’s a wrong choice on this menu.

They serve Chicken Broth for the soup, so if you want Miso Soup, you need to order it.
The Hibachi prepared food is just not as flavorful as other places.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here :-(

AMAZING!!! We chose this restaurant over others because of the great reviews and it definitely lived up to what everyone said in the past. Both the food and service were excellent. Our chef was making jokes and asking our preferences for everything. It’s also open late which is great for longer dinners.

Great service and great food !! Our meals were cooked perfectly. Ask for Chef Carson. Staff and Chef were very polite and attentive. Will definitely go back again. BEST HIBACHI PLACE IN MYRTLE BEACH AREA !!!

Best place I have been to so far! The staff was friendly and our cook our was amazing! He literally had us laughing the whole time! I would come back. Ask for Lincoln!

My 10 year old had a blast. To quote him «delicious food and they cook in front of you.» Good service and responsive wait staff. We had Lincoln as our server. Ate in a Sunday late afternoon and took advantage of the lunch specials ($ 15 for shrimp and chicken, rice, salad and soup).

My girls and I came here for an amazing night of food fun and laughter while in myrtle Beach. I did a vacation rental sales meeting and got $ 100 in vouchers to spend there, as a choice of many.
Very entertaining. The chef was cute and very funny! The food was very good. I think I just really like Hibachi. In any event, I wish we came earlier in the day so we could’ve went shopping at the attached mall.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the 30 minute ride there. We stayed on North myrtle Beach and this was farther into the actual city of Myrtle Beach. But no biggie. Just thought I’d mention it for those it may apply to when looking for someplace close to eat.

After extensive research on the best sushi in the area (must be careful when it comes to this fare) my friends and I decided to hit this place up. Our choice was made based on several things including a review I saw here. talk of the best sushi ever? The best bartender they ever had? Sold! And they did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Samara who was happy to see us. she could tell we were a fun bunch and offered us saki bombs. excellent start. the sushi was absolutely incredible… it looked like art! It was seriously one of the best sushi we had ever had. We also were very impressed with the seaweed salad. fresh, crisp, so tasty! The Angel Hair roll was definitely my favorite. They have habachi food also, but to sit at the bar and be entertained by Samara and watch the most gorgeous suhi roll appear in front of us, was for sure a highlight of our vacation.

Stop by this establishment on a whim. Had no intention of going to a restaurant, but saw it as we passed by and I have a hard time passing by any sushi restaurant.
Just sat outside and had a quick snack. I had a couple rolls parentheses (Alaska roll and spicy tuna roll). My wife and son also got two small items. None of us are walking away dissatisfied.
The staff is very pleasant, curious, and knowledgeable about their menu.
We may stop back in again before leaving town.

Enjoyed the sushi bar with seaweed salad, edamame, crab and salmon rolls, tuna sushi, & dancing eel roll. Delicious and fresh.
