First time. Brian definitely added to the experience. ½ price fancy rolls for month of Feb.(At least for lunch) Very good food. Has several cuisines, although limited offers in each. The Singapore Sauce is tasty with an attitude.

I LOVE this place. Last two times my waitress has been amazing, totally above and beyond! Only drawback is that it’s a tad on the pricey side, but happy hour discounts more than make up for that for an early dinner before catching a flick next door! We moved here after 3 years in Japan and have become sushi snobs, and this really stacks up to the quality we are used to! I’ll recommend it to all my friends!

This is an addition to my wife’s previous review. For the Korean short rib bahn mi? I’ve had numerous bahn mi sandwiches from many, many shops that specialize in making only that type of sandwich. I’ve also had numerous orders of Korean short ribs from Korean restaurants. So, I kinda know what I «should» be tasting and the CO Korean short rib bahn mi I had was a mis-fire. I will say that the bread was perfect and the vegetables had the typical bahn mi veggie flavor, but the meat was just confusing. The texture and flavor conjured absolutely no memories of Korean short ribs and was more than twice the cost of any bahn mi I’ve ever bought. This place could be so much better, but we won’t be visiting again to witness the progression. We will bid them farewell and safe travels to wherever their culinary and customer service paths lead them.

After a positive experience at CO in Charlotte NC, I could not wait to visit the Myrtle Beach location with my husband during our week long stay. Upon arrival and us seating ourselves at a table, it was about 5 – 10 minutes before someone came over to greet us for the first time. Our server, Hayley came over and took our drink order. She said she would give us a few minutes to review the menu. Immediately after she took our order is when things began to go south. We ordered salmon sashimi and Hayley repeated our order back to us going on to further explain that sashimi is served with two pieces. We were totally fine with that and she wrote it down on her pad. We waited a while and wasn’t cognizant of the time that had passed. Out of the darkness, some guy popped out from behind the corner and dumped our plate off and announced«salmon nigiri» and disappeared as quickly as he had arrived. We were immediately upset because all three of us(Hayley, my husband and myself) ended our initial conversation in agreement with what exactly sashimi was and what it would be when placing our order. What was dumped off on the table was clearly not salmon sashimi. We waited more minutes(maybe 10 – 15) in anticipation of Hayley coming back to basically do a courtesy visit to see if our order had made it to the table, if we were enjoying it and if we needed anything else. Hayley had somehow disappeared. We had to find ANOTHER server to ask Hayley to return to the table to explain to us why we had nigiri instead of the sashimi after we watched her write it down on her pad after she explained what sashimi was. After a few more minutes of waiting, Hayley finally returned(from wherever she was) to correct the issue. We did pretty well for a while. Our spring rolls, dumplings and the firecracker rolls came out without a hitch. By that time my water had been getting low, and Hayley kept saying that she would return to refill my water glass. We would see her walk by with drinks for other people, but nothing for me. We had to remind her more than ONCE that I had been waiting for her to refill my glass. Then the time intervals where Hayley would come to check on our table got longer and longer. Each time she would eventually return, she would say that she would refill my water glass again and she would pass 2 – 3 times before it would get filled. I placed an order for more sashimi and then that was the motherlode of all waiting. We waited almost 15 minutes before Hayley came back to check on us. When she finally came back to check to see if we were still waiting, she went to check to the kitchen to check on our order. She came back to say that they were backed up in the kitchen with order and she offered to refill my water glass again which took 20 minutes to get refilled again. After more waiting, my husband and I decided that we didn’t want the sashimi order and just wanted our check. So once again we put in another order for Hayley whom disappeared again. Before Hayley came back another guy came out with the order of sashimi whom we found out later was the actual manager on duty. I declined the sashimi order. By that time, we just wanted the check and my husband asked to speak to a manager. The manager immediately came over and we explained to him how horrible our service was. The manager apologized and said that they were short staffed and that he would adjust the bill to compensate for their service mishaps. And then guess who appeared immediately out of nowhere after the manager went around the corner to adjust the bill??? You guessed it… Hayley!!! There was a definite mismatch between the service received and the menu price point. Although our bill was adjusted and we were offered a gift certificate for a future visit, nothing can compensate us for the aggravation and time wasted at this restaurant. After this experience, which happened to be during our anniversary week, we will never return to this location again.

I have always loved this place and I always recommend it to a lot of people, but my last experience was awful. The guy that worked at the bar(claiming to want to be manager or something along those lines) was completely rude and kept walking away without my date and I finishing our order. We waited an hour for our food, so I kept ordering drinks to pass time, which also took forever. The sushi was very warm and was obvious it was sitting around. The only thing that was fast, was the bill. I plan on going back again but I do not want the same experience as I did last time. I told plenty of people about my experience.

Good food but a little overpriced for Myrtle Beach. Not a negative thing but FYI this place is the opposite of a singles bar – all couples mostly. Beers are like $ 6 – 7

Blah, everyone at our table for something different. It was bland, I felt like I was at the food court at a mall.

I’m a huge fan of CO in Downtown Charleston, so I didn’t have any hesitation taking my mom to CO Sushi when visiting her in MB. I had the vietnamese iced coffee and firecracker roll. The vietnamese coffee is something I get nearly every time I visit CO in Charleston, but here it tasted like refrigerator. Having left my own can of SC milk in the fridge too long, I recognize the flavor. Not only was my firecracker roll not spicy, it was downright bland. The only thing I could taste was tuna, mayonnaise, and nori. The tempura shrimp was crunchy but tough. South Carolina will stay a sushi desert unless people start raising their standards higher than this. That extra star is up there for the gyoza/sauce and because I’m guessing(or hoping) that the non-sushi entrees are up to par.

Good food. Good service. Good location. I think that about says it all. It’s a little cozy inside(i.e., tight) but that really didn’t bother me. The food is consistently good, and the prices aren’t outrageous either.

When many restaurants fail to consistently provide great quality, I know I can always trust CO for their exceptional food. Their quality is always on point. This was my second visit this week here, and it was wonderful as usual. I ordered the Tako Poke(octopus) and it was very fresh tasting, and was served with seaweed on a bed of lettuce. It was absolutely delicious. I got my usual, the lemon roll, and I also ordered the rainbow roll. Both were very, very good. Service was awesome and atmosphere is beautiful. I love the way they designed the interior. If you want great sushi and Asian inspired noodle/rice dishes, visit CO!

My first visit here. Atmosphere, service, drinks and food were beyond perfection for presentation, quality and taste. The Mojito was perfect for a Sunday morning liquor buzz while skipping church. Sushi rolls were decently sized and the amount of ingredients used were in great proportion with the cost of the sushi rolls. The waiter was very friendly and provided very good service. Atmosphere is very cool with Thailand colors and modern flare. Will definitely visit Co Sushi again. Everything was on-point!

This place is actually really nice, would be great to go with groups of friends for sushi night or happy hour. The sushi here wasn’t that good to me, it was average. The reason for the 4 stars is because the money lies within their beef dumplings! I tried their salmon rolls and sausage rolls and wasn’t a fan of either. The salmon rolls weren’t rolled good because they were falling apart. I’ve had way better rolls than that. The crispy chicken wontons were really good though. I’ve never tried dumplings before because I have a problem with doughy food. I don’t like it! The waitress told me their broth was really good, So I asked them if they could crisp up the dumplings for me, and the chef did just that. He even put the broth on the side so I could pour it myself. When I say the flavor of the broth and the dumplings being crispy was so good! I ordered a second bowl. This is what I’d go here for if ever I’m in town again. And I will be returning again for the dumplings before I leave this week. Also, their cucumber mojito was really really good! The beef dumplings I had deserved 4 stars! And me asking for crispy dumplings may have sparked the chef to try my idea of giving the dumplings some texture!

Amazing! Food, drinks, atmosphere, staff, cleanliness –all top notch! Between the four of us dining, we sampled a variety of foods and cocktails over both our first and second visits to this location. Everything was superb. Plenty of vegan options and I was surprised by the chia seeds in the mango shot the bartender hooked us up with! Cutting edge. Highly recommended. Extremely convenient parking, great location in Market Commons(next to cinema), lovely patio bar-top and dining too.

I went here over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The atmosphere is nice and the service is excellent. Their menu isn’t huge but their food is really good. We started with a delicious order of pork and ginger gyoza. I would definitely order that again but they have other dumplings I want to try as well. I ordered the Vietnamese Ramen and was pleasantly surprised. The broth was very tasty and they definitely didn’t skimp on the meat. My husband ordered the phở and enjoyed it as well. There are quite a few items on their menu I’d like to try so I’ll be coming back here for sure.

I’ve eaten at Co’s on several occasions. Usually, in the mid-afternoon when things are slower. The soups are great and the portions are generous, but that’s pretty much where my enthusiasm starts to wane. I had high hopes for this place when it opened but after a few visits I’ve grown disenchanted. The beer selection is weak(one IPA? C’mon guys) and the sushi chefs may as well be non-existent. I’m the type who actually enjoys discussing what they’re eating and find a little back and forth with your chef can boost the experience. According to the bartender, it seems the chefs are discouraged from chatting. Unfortunate… That aside, the place just feels flat and sterile to me. About the closest thing to a pulse I’ve noticed is the bass coming from the stereo which seems to get louder as the evening grows longer. That’s actually the main thing that bugs me… it feels like they’re trying a little too hard to be trendy, here. If I want beats, I’ll hit a club. If I want dinner and good conversation, I’d like to be able to have it without yelling. Like I said, the soups are great, the sushi is just fine and the prices are reasonable. I’m just not a fan of the atmosphere or lack thereof. In fairness, I should note they do a nice job with take-out and being a fan of the aforementioned soups, I still enjoy that option from time to time. –Neil

We only sat at the bar and had a few drinks with friends who ordered some sushi. Our bartender was super friendly, attentive and appropriately chatty with us. We’re not big on sushi so the only time we’ll come back is probably to sit at the bar and enjoy some drinks. Maybe try something on their cooked menu. :-)

This little neighborhood is so cute and there was Co Sushi it looks cute with its high top tables Cute doesn’t cut it when it comes to sushi despite the attractiveness of this dining establishment we were so disappointed we sat in a low table just about on top of the table next to us no big deal except the place wasn’t even half full we sit and look at the menu which offers the usual sushi types and not to cheap my friend is not a sushi person we opt for the edamame vegetarian dumplings(GREEN) to start they arrive hot and pretty to look at but one mouthful and oops they are spicy which the menu should have told us no waiter in site until he brings us our vegetable fried rice its nice its tasty but not earth shattering we sit and sit no waiter returns finally he does and we tell him about our spicy dumplings give him credit because he does it take it off the bill tighten up the service time and this place could be a lot better
