I was visiting from Virginia(visiting the Be Well Coach) and my friend and I wanted to do a little yoga after our long drive here. We took an 830 class with Sherry(sp?) And we’re both very pleased. There were only 3 people total in our class which I personally enjoyed. I’m by far not a yogi and like the personal attention in class. There’s also a store attached where you can get cute, unique jewelry, soaps, art and other various items. The whole place is clean as well as the bathrooms.

Everytime I visit I stop into the shop. They have great teas, crystals, body products and more. I’ve picked up a few really cool gifts. I also want to mention the energy of this space is beautiful.

I love the sense of community at YIC. They offer classes ro fit a wide variety of practices. The studio is comfortable and as the other reviews have indicated YIC has a lot of neato stuff in the boutique. Definitely worth checking out ~ namaste

Stopped in with a friend this morning for Jennifer’s 9:30 strength and strengthen class. The studio is spacious, and light streams in from full length glass windows over and around muted curtains. Cubbies are adequate for personal belongings, and props are ample. My friend has been taking yoga classes for several months and I for 5 years, although I consider my skill level«terrible». The class advertised itself as appropriate for all levels and it was. Jennifer’s poses ranged from the very easy to the very difficult. She had a very skilled but comfortable teaching style that I’m sure would seem comfortable to any visiting yogi. We were here for a convention, although I travel here often only living 100 miles away. I enjoyed the studio, and the class, very much. Ditto what others have written regarding the merchandise, staff and pricing. $ 15 drop in fee. Class was 75 minutes.

Cannot speak for the yoga itself(yet), but I wanted to write a review for the yoga shop. The woman working there was super friendly and knowledgable about the merchandise. I ended up buying some local handmade jewelry(which they have a great selection of). There is also original art work, apparel, and incense among other items. After I paid, I received my receipt via email and had a note from them offering to order a shirt I saw for my daughter(but not in her size in store) that I mentioned I liked. Loved looking around in there! A great addition to the Market Common shopping scene. And now I want to come back for yoga. Next time I’m down this way!!!

Great yoga studio, and teachers. I was vacationing for a week in myrtle, and it was great to practice in this studio. The schedule gives you lots of options so I was able to fit in 2 classes between all the family stuff. The boutique is great and supports local artists. If you plan to shop while in myrtle, wait until you visit Yoga in Common!

I was looking for an intermediate class early one Thursday morning while I was in town and found it! They offer a discount for teachers, students and military people so that was a nice surprise helping take the sting out of a drop in rate while on vacation. Either bring the blinders or your wallet because there have a cute little boutique with all sorts of things to buy in the front of the store. And the props– plenty of props to use!
