This is the best pizza in the area. The BBQ chicken is SO good! The spaghetti and meatball pizza is great as well!

We were from out of town and wanted to watch the Jets game here. Wes owner of the Voodoo grill recommended it because the Voodoo wasn’t showing the game. The staff was terrific, one table of rude Redskins fans could have ruined the afternoon but the staff was so friendly and attentive-we felt like regulars.

Great ‘local joint’ in Mystic. Sick of eating holiday leftovers, my family and I walked down to Angie’s for dinner tonight(in need of vegetables to get rid of our sugar hangovers…). We all ordered salads which were great. The small salads are more than enough for dinner and are such a good price. I had the Greek salad myself(full of kalamata olives and grape leaves — YUM!) and my parents both had a Caesar with chicken. They have a pretty decent domestic beer selection — best part is that the beers are nice. and. cheap! Not to mention the heaping pile of complimentary garlic bread they bring out when you sit down. I’m sold. Our server, Stacy, was awesome and hilarious. She deserves more than 5 stars herself. Although there are certainly some great restaurants in Mystic, Angie’s is a great stop if you are looking for a low-key, no frills local stop. Good pizza and options for everyone.

I like this place. It’s priced reasonably and the foods yummy. They don’t just sell pizza too which is nice. They have tuna melt with chips(favorite) grinders, panini’s, etc. Try it out!

My husband and I were on a road trip through New England and wanted to make sure we ate«where the locals ate». We stumbled upon Angie’s and decided to eat there. Oddly enough, that’s what their shirts say… «Where the locals eat»… so we knew we were in the right place. The waitress was the nicest waitress and loved my husband & I’s goofy, indecisive bantering over the menu… even slightly played along at times. She was patient with us and gave food suggestions when I asked. The food came out pretty quickly. It was good, simple pizza… just what we like. Service was great, which is why we are giving a 4. We decided to leave an above-average tip because she was just that great. I strongly encourage you to do the same if you love your service, no matter where you’re eating(but especially at Angie’s).

Pizza’s not bad. We found hair cooked into our pizza, when I politely informed the waitress she said ‘oh, well’. $ 30 well spent, am I right? Employee training might be a consideration.

Found by accident. The garlic bread was the best I’ve ever had. Wife ordered eggplant parmigiana which was a very big portion she loved. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs which was also a big portion the 3 huge meatballs and sauce were fantastic. A lot of food for very reasonable prices. Don’t pass this place up. Service was excellent also.

If you want good pizza, skip the tourist trap of Mystic Pizza and come here instead. They have great pizza, grinders, lasagna, fish and chips. This is the place where all the locals go when they want pizza.

This is the best pizza in town. They serve Greek style pizza and have a full selection of other Italian items and sandwiches. A great place to eat whenever you visit Mystic.

A solid choice for take out. Pizza is OK, but I am not a Greek style fan. I love their french fries and the cajun chicken sandwich.

Plastic tables, seats, glasses and food ;( The waitress seemed tired and couldn’t muster a smile. Food was terrible — I had a plate of spaghetti with sausage and couldn’t eat half of it. Just go elsewhere — McDonalds would be better.

I first came here over Thanksgiving weekend on a recommendation from my relatives. We were going to see Santa arrive by tugboat, but first we needed some lunch. And that lunch came in the form of the most outrageous thing since macaroni and cheese pizza with bacon: THECHEESEBURGERGRINDER. You heard right! It’s a cheeseburger in a grinder roll, and it was crazy good! And believe me when I say THEIRONIONRINGSAREADDICTIVE. This was a great place to stop for lunch. I would recommend their cheeseburger grinder to anyone who thinks they’ve seen it all when it comes to burgers. Their official address is 25 Roosevelt Ave. in Mystic, but I say following your nose is way more fun. Now if I can just manage to waddle like a penguin back to the car after eating all that food, that’ll be a bonus.

Great food including excellent pizza. Reasonable prices for quality. Attentive service and clean bathrooms. Can’t ask for much more than that!

I love going to Pier 27 the Barmaid is amazing. Location is a bit outside of Mystic but it’s perfect. It’s always a casual atmosphere there. Best way to describe it would be like stepping into Mystic’s version of Cheers. The thing I love the most is that the kitchen is open late, while the other places have long since stopped serving I can always get a bite to eat here. Just stop on by and see for yourself.

I’ve been here twice and both times the pizza was amazing, the inside is dingy and can definitely use a good cleaning and the second time we went the service was on the slow side even though they were not very busy but this will not stop me from going there. We live an hour away so we won’t frequent often but whenever we do happen to be in the area this will definitely be the place we’ll stop to eat at.

We have out sailboat down the street and feel fortunate to have Angie’s nearby. It gets crowded on the weekend and is busy all week. The waitresses are attentive and the crowd varies. There is the bar side — but we have kids so we are in the other side typically getting pasta and pizza. Greek style pizza, good beverage choices and great variety of pasta. They deliver pizza to the marina.

Angie’s Pizza is one my favorite pizza spots. I live in LA and I have friends who live in Mystic, CT. Whenever I come to visit them, I insist that we eat there. We usually order a large pepperoni and bacon pizza and a large buffalo chicken pizza. Its so delicious.

I’m typically a fan of thin-crust pizza, but Angie’s thick crust is AMAZING! The crust was crunchy and not doughy at all. The crust is not Chicago deep dish, but is somewhat thick. Even if you’re a thin crust fan, you should definitely try Angie’s. My husband and I shared a half-n-half Hawaiian and Buffalo Chicken pizza. Both had ample topping and were delicious. The wait staff was friendly and attentive even though it was a relatively busy Tuesday night.
