It’s decent. Not the best and not the worst. I wouldn’t order anything fried here like General Tso’s. The breading is mushy and the fried rice still has bean sprouts like another reviewer mentioned. No MSG is a plus. The décor is almost in shambles. Definitely a «takeout» Chinese restaurant. I would go again for a lunch special.

Fried rice is yellow and bland. No veggies except onions. General Taos chicken was mushy and way too sweet. Fried dumplings were pretty good. Dipping sauce had too much garlic but otherwise it was good.

I technically wanted to put 2.5 but that wasn’t an option. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t my favorite which is by my old house in summerville. I didn’t care for the egg roll or the worm(sprouts) looking things in my rice. I probably won’t go there again only because I really liked my old favorite.

Was craving Chinese food & this seemed to be the only option close to my hotel in North Charleston. I walked in, ordered & didn’t have to wait too long for the food. I ordered garlic honey chicken. It was so hot, fresh & tasty. I got steamed dumplings & spring rolls too. Everything was really good!

Came into this place and was kind of disgusted and surprised at the same time, due to the good Unilocal reviews, although there were only four reviews to begin with anyway. This is not a Chinese restaurant in the traditional sense of the word. This is one of those fast food Chinese places, where you walk up and order at the counter and wait. No Tsing-Tao on tap either, total bummer. Came in when it was 78 degrees outside… no air conditioning was on. That, coupled with the high powered fryers, and I was dying. Open a door for some cross breeze for God’s sake. It looked like a basic white room with seven booths, didn’t appear to be the cleanest place around, and no music was being played. It just depressed me sitting there and trying to eat. Struck me as a locals take-out joint mostly. On to the most important part… the food. I ordered your standard chicken with cashew nut which was ok. My gripe was plastic fork utensils only. How are you supposed to cut a four inch long strip of chicken with that? Like I said, standard strip mall Chinese food with zero ambiance. If you’re looking for a quick take out fix, it’ll get the job done, but don’t expect any type of sit down experience or food to rave about. Although to be fair, I only had one dish. I guess the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Best Chinese food I have had in the area so far! Their sweet and sour sauce is not watered down like all the other places in the area and their hot and sour soup is super delicious! You get more than enough food with every order and the service is fast and friendly.

This is one of the hole in the wall places to not pass by! My wife and I have ordered take out from here for over 5 years. The serving sizes are massive here. We split one meal and I eat a lot and still get full. The Crab Ragoo is the best I’ve ever had. Advise: Order to-go at this place. Once you go inside you will understand.
