Frankie’s Fun Park

Good fun. Lots of arcade games, my son had a good time playing miniature golf! Different options, will visit again! Staff helpful and answered my questions.

Very expensive, poor value for the money, and not family friendly. Living not far away I should have known better. Won’t go back.

Frankie’s Fun Park is fun for kids of all ages. A group of five of us went and probably had more fun than any of the kids here.
Arcade games, putt putt, go karts, bumper boats, and beer. Yes, they sell beer! They also have slurpees and hot dogs and other carnie food. Arcade games have come a long way since I was a kid. It was like being in mini Las Vegas. Future Gamblers Anonymous all over the place. The putt putt was on par with what I expected (see what I did there?). They didn’t have as many pirates or tropical animal statues as I was hoping for, but it was a fun 18 holes of miniature golf nonetheless. Normally being around a bunch of small children really stresses me out, but I was having so much fun and felt like a kid myself here.
Frankie’s is pretty darn out of the way from Mount Pleasant and James Island, but we are committed to coming back on a regular basis. It was good clean fun for everyone and I am definitely a fan.

Fun, overpriced games with mediocre service. What a perfect combination! There are four workers at one counter as my friend and I wait to obtain our prizes. We waited for five minutes but eventually left because none of them seemed to actually do their job. How hard is it? Indian/​Latina girl that works here is obnoxiously rude. Employees seem to put themselves on a higher scale than everyone else but girl… You work at Frankie’s… Let’s be real! Reconsider who your hire, especially people who cannot interact with others respectfully and maybe this place will flourish.

Its fantastic that they have gocarts for pretty small children now. Huge bonus. Love the gocarts. The putt putt isn’t so exciting and could use some updating. Indoor video games are very expensive. Great place though.

The staff here are lazy and rude. It was a drizzly evening on the last day my nephews were in town and we had been here earlier in the week (at about 9:15pm) no issues, however this evening they turned us away at 9:20! My nephew was really disappointed he still had a thousand tickets to use!

4 Stars for the condition of the facilities and entertainment value. Arcade game prices are a little expensive but you won’t find greasy finger prints all over everything or messy bathrooms. Mini golf was pretty fun. East course is the more difficult of the two

Great place for some child like fun. But the music on the golf course was not only obscenely loud, but let’s just say… could have been more diverse. But overall fun atmosphere.

As adults, we really enjoyed our afternoon here. We did mini golf, go carts and some arcade games. Facilities were kept up well and prices aren’t too bad – $ 7 for mini golf or go carts. Spent about $ 60 over the course of two hours – mini golf ($ 14), two rounds of go carts each ($ 28), various arcade games ($ 20) and slushies. Could have stretched the activities out over time, but we were rushing off to dinner and didn’t dilly dally too much.

I’ve only really come here for the mini golf, as it’s one of only about two places in the area that have it. There are two separate courses, that are basically the same in features, and the only reason to choose one over the other is the number of people currently using each course.
Everything is par 2, which causes it to be a really uninteresting course. The hardest it gets is a hole in a slope. Sometimes the hole is about 10 feet away from the beginning, with another 15 feet of green behind the hole. Why not add in a couple rocks, or a sand trap, and put the hole at the end?
You don’t have many options for mini golf, and this has to do for $ 7 (adult price). There is a lot more to do at Frankie’s (batting cages, go karts, etc), but those things are just as expensive, and probably about as thrilling.

Arcades are a joke. It costs $.25 off the bat to play any games because you have to get a card. Most games are $ 1.50 — $ 2.00. The ticket games some cost $ 2.00 and you will likely get 75 tickets or less which isnt even enough for Pop Rocks (candy). The stuffed animal machines are a pain. You can pick them up plenty of times but they are very slick and will fall down. I consider my self an good player at this and it took me 7 tries… would have stopped but it irritated the heck out of me. Stick to something besides the arcade.

I took my son to play some mini golf. It was a great course and for under $ 20 we played 18 holes and got 2 slushies. Can’t beat that! Only negative is that it’s really crowded on the weekends.

Great place for kids. Geared more towards older kids. Only a few things for toddlers to do (Fun Slide, Go-​Karts w/​Parents, few arcade games).

A fun date night! I had a blast playing mini golf and air hockey this weekend at Frankie’s. The only inconvenience was having to reload the arcade cards… I prefer old school tokens. They also have go carts and batting cages if you want to do more.

I came in at 10:35 pm to go de-​stress at the driving range. I asked the girl with short red hair if the range was open. She said it was, and I paid for my range balls. Drove over to the entrance with my clubs, and it was pitch black. Drove back for a refund on the card. Told the guy that if an employee doesn’t know the answer to a question they should ask a manager before letting a customer pay and go over there only to find it closed. He replied, «well they shut down the range an hour before close to clean up.» I told him it was an hr and 25 min to close… and pitch black… it obviously has been closed for awhile. I got my refund and walked out a few minutes til 11… waste of a half hour. Inconsiderate and inept staff.

This place is amazing, everytime we travel to SC, this is a MUST GO TO place. Love it :)

Very Pricey. Everything is ok. Small. Wish charleston had other choices in activities for older children and young adults.

The kid loves coming here to play mini-​golf and arcade games. The mini-​golf is great with two 18-​hole courses to choose from. Both offer their own unique challenges. They keep the course up very nicely. Every time we’ve gone there hasn’t been any trash and the only thing floating in the water are birds, turtles and an occasional golf ball.
The arcade is fun but I would have to agree with the other reviews that the prizes aren’t really worth it (but what arcade is?). The other thing is the ticket counts are a bit off. Our son won 1000 tickets on a single game. He took the tickets to the ticket counter and it only counted 950. Now it could have been the ticket counter or the game but it makes you wonder. When you are charging 1 to 3 dollars a game you don’t really need to short tickets. On a good note the card system is awesome. You load money on a card to play the games and then the tickets are loaded onto the same card by ticket counters. So all you have to keep is one card.
All in all Frankie’s Fun Park is a great place to take the family for a couple hours or go on a little date night.

Mini-​golf, go carts, games, batting cages, food, and a driving range. For the most part, folks behave themselves, so it’s ok to go to on weekend nights. Can get crowded.

AKA Frankie’s Funland, Frankie’s Fun Park is a small area with two 18-​hole mini golf courses, an arade, bumper boats, a small carnival-​type ride, go-​carts, and a batting range. (I apologize if I’m missing anything!)
My husband and I frequently mini-​golf here. It is $ 6 a person and you can choose «east or west.» I think the course is kept up nicely (we’ve been once when the water wasn’t running through the course… it did look pretty icky then, but that’s not really a problem.) The courses provide a bit of fun variety and even though I’m horrible it’s a nice cheap date. Often times you can see turtles, fish, and birds around the water. Despite the animal life, the walkways are kept pretty clean! I rarely am near a ton of goose poop, but it happens. If you go in the mid-​late spring, you can catch a live momma goose who’s sitting on her eggs between some trees, inches from the hole you’re at.
I’ve never done any of the other activities except putt around in the arcade. Their prizes for turning in tickets aren’t that great… not even the cheap stuff you get «just because.» Since my husband and I clearly have no need, we just add up our tickets on our card and spend 10 bucks each time we go. Eventually there will be someone we can get with them, and we look at it as winning just for killing time and burning some extra cash.
The area is nice, and there is lots of parking. Great time for the kids!
