I absolutely love the café con leche it is dreamy. I have visited multiple times a day for a cup of medium coffee. It is worth it. The breakfast is awesome I’ve never had anything on the lunch menu. The staff is very friendly and understanding. They serve everything very warm and is cooked to order. It is a very clean establishment and is run very well. I cannot wait for my next cup of café con leche from las brisas…

An awesome little place. Went in looking for lunch and the gentleman was very helpful. Simple family cuban cooking, the best in my opinion. I highly recommend!

First, I gave them two stars and not one only because I’ve been there before but it seems the quality and the service are going down hill. I ordered 2 things, café, and an Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was forgettable. Almost no pork at all but loaded with ham. It was not in the press long enough to melt the cheese so what I really had was a badly made ham and cheese sandwich. Now, my coffee, It wasn’t so much that it was bad it was more that i was not happy to only getting half a cup when an obviously Latin gentleman got a full cup at the same time. when I asked i was given attitude so I just let it go. I also noticed a change in personnel and the woman that took my order was at least new to me. Sometimes change is good. This time, not so much

Was driving by(I often do) and very hungry of a recent lunchtime and decided to duck in and try the fare at this popular lil hole in the wall where folks appear to love their cafecito! The place is small, humble, adjacent to a mechanic’s operation, and in need of a décor upgrade. The place is literally falling apart. Doors are missing from cabinets and the like. Not dirty though. Very clean. I tried a couple of sammies-to-go. I think they were both $ 5.25 each. The Pan Con Bistec was tasty but had the most thinly sliced piece of meat on it that was buried in bread and those lil potato sticks. Meh. Skip this one. The only choice with this sammy is to up the price and up the portion, otherwise up yours. Just kidding. I’ve had better. The Media Noche(con el otro mano) was a HIT though! The meat was piled high. I seriously couldn’t get my big mouth around it. I had to eat it in 2 parts. SCORE! There was the rich smell of garlic and onions in the air. The black beans and rice looked dreamy. I have to try the cafecito. More to follow next review. Cabeza OUT!

Stopped by here on our way out of town for a quick bite to go. Wait time was fine and great prices, but the waitress messed up both our orders(language barrier?) still pretty tasty nonetheless. Definitely will try again next time I’m in town.

So far I went in here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Didn’t expect much but the breakfast is your ordinary Cuban fare… eggs, a meat, and Cuban toast and coffee. Nothing out of this world. The reason of the two stars is because the waitress wrote down our order and still manage to get it all wrong and our food came in parts. Service was not the best considering that this is a little whole in the wall Cuban joint. We had to ask for water, all the other customers received placemats, we were bare table and had to ask for items over and over again… such as silverware and kept reminding her about our order because she kept forgeting. May give it another shot for lunch… but Las Brisas… I hope you will do better on my next visit. Please…

A little hole-in-the-wall Cuban place with all the fixins! Delicious cortaditos and coladas, your favorite Cuban or croquetta sandwich and a SERIOUSLY sized pastelito… and all on the cheap. What more can you ask for? Come for lunch and spend under $ 10 and come away with a serious caffeine boost. The service is pretty fantastic too.

I love this place. I go about 3 – 5 times a week for my daily coffee fix. I’ve been to plenty coffee shops and this little Cuban delight is a must. The best Cuban coffee for a buck. They also have great daily breakfast — eggs, hashbrowns, tostadas(Cuban toast) and delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff is great– you’ll find alma right through the window brewing her daily cafecitos and Robert(owner) who is always very friendly. You must try! You’ll never touch starbucks again

Small and cozy, Cuban restaurant near Aventura!!! The truth is, this place has been around forever. However, since not in my daily path, I had to wait until today to try it out. Small, orange building, on your right hand side when heading South on West Dixie Hwy. I went in for my dose of good Cuban food and became a fan right away. I went in with a group of friends and we ordered like we hadn’t eaten in years. Tostadas(Cuban toast), Café con leche, fresh orange juice(a must!), eggs, bacon, and hash browns. The bill came out to 7 $ per person; it was 5 of us ordering. Since I am working closer to home these days, I will be taking advantage of this place more often. And no worries, like any traditional Cuban place if you just want to stop for a quick pick-up, they have a window that takes orders, to avoid having to go inside. A piece of Hialeah in Aventura! I love it!
