Good food, good prices! We order lunch a few times a week from here. We get to go orders, go through the drive thru, and have no problems whatsoever. We have several separate tickets and are able to pay with debit cards for each without incident… food is ready fast, pick up is easy and it’s good food! I always have left over to take home.

Peking is pretty good for take-out Chinese food. Their big portions make the prices worth it. It is a consistent place conveniently located with a drive thru! I love their egg rolls!

I am very picky about my Chinese food. I don’t normally like to go to Chinese side places, four years I’ve only gone to Panda Express, or PF Changs. This restaurant has change things for me. I’ve been there three times, and have been very satisfied. The two times I even went without my wife, I got it «to-go» for her. The food is always fresh and hot, the taste is pristine, it is good Chinese food, I would even as go as far to say it is better than panda express… It is more juicy, and authentic. And they stay pretty busy. The look of the restaurant is pretty nice, the restrooms could be cleaner. The whole restaurant could use a makeover. The music noise was low. The atmosphere for the most part was pretty good. I usually get orange chicken, and noodle. The price is OK, I have learned that with Chinese you get what you pay for. So I can’t complain about the price at this place. My buddy gets the Almond chicken, and he cleans his plate every time. I usually get my wife beef broccoli and every last bit of it is gone when she is done. I hope you find this review helpful, maybe I’ll see you in there sometime, say hello. Thank you for reading.

Had been here growing up as a kid and this was my first time back in years. The soup and egg rolls were definitely my favorite part! Dishes were good but not the best I’ve ever had but then again I’m pretty hard on Chinese food because I lived in China for a year. It was a good place though!

My trip to Peking was met with curiosity because if never visited this establishment. It’s a moderately busy business that churns out large amounts of food for a cheap and affordable price. Overall with peking’s food quality was above average as far as fast food goes. Panda Express is definitely ranked below Peking in my book as far as food goes. Involving their«quality of living» in terms of cleanliness, there leaves much to be desired. I took a look back into their kitchen, and instantly I noticed NOGLOVES. On top of that, there was a stark lack of organization of products about around the front counter. Whether price matters over cleanliness to you is the big question in choosing Peking, but I’d recommend it.

Getting in and out of Peking can be a pain especially if you’re traveling North on North Street and trying to turn across traffic. More often than not I find myself having to go down and turn around in Barnhill’s parking lot. Once you get there they have a few dishes that are pretty good, the Garlic Chicken and Beef Lo Mein stand out, and they always run a daily special. I’ve found that if you don’t ask for the 4 Egg Rolls for $ 3.99 they’ll charge you $ 1.25 for each of them, on an order of four you end up paying five bucks plus tax if you don’t specifically mention what’s on their sign out front. The Hot and Sour soup is some of the best in Nac, with a good black pepper kick and hints of citrus, we usually get two large when we order to go. I’m not really a fan of their takeout containers, they use the standard square three-section Styrofoam plates with attached lids which adequately do the job, but they also hold less and for the price Peking could give you a full order instead of skimping with the tricky containers. Overall we’re usually happy when we order from Peking, there’s a few areas that could use improvement which I pointed out above, but all in all we will keep coming back!

The food here is severely overrated. Generally it all tastes the same. There are much better places in town for a similar price.

Good and fresh food, the servings are usually generous. The service is friendly and the establishment is dated but clean. Prices are affordable. Will likely return the next time I am in town!

Nice place to go eat but often has a wanted sign out front which worries me in a college town. The food is good, not great, but worth it. The atmosphere is also nice and simple.

Atmosphere inside is nice, clean, with a beautiful embroidered cloth banner. Won ton soup was lovely and looked homemade, hot jasmine tea also hit the spot. Crab Rangoon was super tasty(and HOT!). HUGE noodle soup and tasty sweet and sour shrimp(and the shrimp were actually cleaned). Total bill $ 26. Friendly staff. Diverse crowd – our 5-year-old was at home, too – and consistently long line of cars in the drive-thru.

If I want chinese I ALWAYS go to Peking! Mainly b/c they’re a couple blocks away, they have a drive through and every single time I order it always comes out the same great quality, I’ve never gotten a bad take out meal! I do think they’re a little pricey, like I get the chicken lo mein and 2 egg rolls and it’s $ 8 and some change… BUT you don’t get one serving worth, they literally fill a normal 3 section to-go box COMPLETELY full of whatever you order, so it’s like 3 – 4 servings in one container. They give you sweet and sour w/every egg roll purchase, which I love b/c I don’t know about anyone else, I love my egg rolls w/sweet and sour sauce. I’ve also had their fried rice, it’s awesome as well, same portioning, a full to go box worth. So just know while it may seem pricey to a college student on a budget, you’re getting a boat load of food, that will last you a good 2 meals, unless you’re just super hungry and eat it all in one night. lol.

This is the best chinese food in Nacogdoches. I love the sauce for the steamed dumplings and I probably ate here 3 times a week when I lived in Nacogdoches. The table in the corner by the drive thru is mine so don’t even think about sitting there. If you get a gold card, you get free soup or egg rolls for a year with puchase of a meal. Awesome.
