Ordered delivery and before I verify my order I ask the lady if they were decent sized portions. She replied«Yes! I’ve never seen anyone leave here hungry» That’s a crock of crap! $ 45 ticket but yet these portions are for a child! And the food tastes like it’s a frozen tv dinner! We will not be ordering from here again.

The last time I ate here it was Italian to go, and it was GREAT! Not sure if the name change is why it is no longer a great place to go. We called in our order and I picked it up, I walk in to an empty place(should have been my first clue) and the hostess lady just looks at me. I tell her I am picking up an order and she turns and walks away to get it. She then walks back and tells me my order amount. I pay, and that’s it, I literally had to ask her if that was it, she says«yup». Not a thank you or even have a good evening. I get home a few minutes later and it was cold… I let that go cause ok it was pick up and I had to drive home, but it was COLD. I ordered a calzone and my wife ordered spiral pesto pasta with chicken. My wife could not eat the noodles, the have been microwaved, all our food tasted like a microwave dinner, she literally had to make her own noodles to replace these. I read on a previous review that the rolls are made fresh daily, well I must have had one that was made fresh last week. My calzone had no taste and was awful. So to recap, terrible service and terrible food. I will never visit nor recommend this place again. I am ashamed because until today I would talk this place up. I hope no one took my word and went here. Its too bad because this use to be a great place. Who ever is running it now needs to learn how to run a restaurant, provide customer service and run a business. The business owner replies that have been given are rude and unprofessional.

I really have no idea why the reviews are so positive for this place. Waitress had this weird scowl on her face like we were inconveniencing her and the food was below mediocre. Sitting room was nonexistent. a few tables crammed together. I had the clam linguini which was bland beyond belief. Seriously no flavor at all and the«clams». yeah not sure what those actually were. My friend had what he described as «the worst calzone I’ve ever had in my life». Cold and rubber in the middle. They charge olive garden prices but deliver sub-McDonalds product and service. What a joke I feel totally ripped off.

This is not a bad Italian place, but it’s not a notable Italian place either. Used patio area. Service was a little slow. Order got honked up. Food was just ok. I’ll probably look for another Place in town in future.

The service was a horribly slow but over all good food. Pizza is thin crust and you can add onions and garlic for free. I loved the extra garlic it was so yummy! We also had the meat ravioli, my husband liked it. I wasn’t a huge fan, except the sauce. It was exceptional. We also had rolls and a salad. I didnt care for the house dressing and i felt it was too sweet. I like vinegar based better. The only other thing that was annoying was the menu. It was overly busy and complicated. No family value meal at the restaurant. I would have glady paid a little more. Overall it’s a toss up if we return.

Love the food, prices & atmosphere. Small place, limited seating inside but has outdoor patio seating. Pasta’s, pizza & everything else is yummy.

For a restaurant with such an informal«fast food» name, this place feels like it is trying to be very authentic. I don’t say, «trying to be» because they failed but because I am not qualified to judge authenticity of an Italian place.

One of my favorite spots for a meal in the entire treasure Valley. Not only do you get to visit with the owners, they make you feel right at home. I’ve yet to have a bad meal there. If you have a large appetite, order a calzone.

We walked in to Italian to Go, expecting a takeout-only eatery, based on the name. Not really, but we laughed at the name. This charming restaurant is located near the new library in downtown Nampa. There’s only a few tables and room for a couple more people at the bar, plus several tables outside when the weather is good. I ordered penne with a red meat sauce and meatballs. Theresa ordered the manicotti. Both were large portions and very flavorful. We were there on a Friday night when it seemed like they were missing another server. It took quite a while to get our order but the quality of the food made it worth the wait. One of the servers even pulled out a ukulele and serenaded us and diners at other tables.

The service was excellent they messed up my order and fixed it right away. The spaghetti was just plain noodles with sauce and no meat. The cheese ravioli was OK nothing special the meat ravioli was disgusting it was obviously not made from scratch which would have been nice. The kids ordered pizza which was very good.

Food was good, but nothing really to get excited about. An order of spaghetti was pretty much just plain red sauce with no seasoning over noodles. I could have cooked it better at home. The«great» calzone, while good was also pretty bland. The vegetables were still crunchy and the cheese hadn’t melted, I was worried that it was under cooked. Service was… interesting. The waiter was nice and friendly but only checked up on us three times during the hour long meal(including the times to bring us our order and check). Overall the food was less than average and it was way overpriced. Three dishes and drinks(soda) cost $ 45. In general I would only recommend this place to people who like plain food and don’t care about the price.

Well, ordering a pizza to go seemed smooth. However, once my fiancé got the pizza home, we opened it to find the complete wrong order. So I called them, they apologized, asked us to bring that pizza back. I asked, «will our pizza still be hot by the time we get back?» The gal said she would get a new pizza started. I assumed this meant that she would get one started when she hung up. My fiancé got back to the place with the wrong order, and they hadn’t even started the new pizza! My fiancé not only had to drive all the way back but then wait while they made the new one. Then at the end, there was no offer to comp us for our time and hassle, not even an offer of free bread sticks. We are absolutely not the types to just try and get free stuff, but i think there should have been some sort of effort at service recovery. The whole thing took over an hour before we could even eat. It’s a shame because the pizza was really pretty good, but the service hassle was not worth a return trip to us.

The meatball sandwich was good. I had my heart set on a hot Italian club but was were busy with other dishes being prepared. The spaghetti was very plain and not very tasty. My wife commented that she could have made better spaghetti at home using Ragu sauce! The cheese ravioli were OK, nothing spectacular. We will NOT be going back, unfortunately. Pleasant folks but not great food.

I’ve ordered this a few times now. The delivery people are always very nice and the food is always really good. My favorite is the fettucini alfredo and I love the little salad that comes with it especially the chickpeas. I tried the tiramisu and that was really good! I love the fact I can order this for delivery. I tried the veal today and it was very delicious too! Overall great food and great service I’ll definitely order from this place more often

Service was excellent well above the avarage. The food was also fabulous. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the glasses are plastic and the table settings were average. Would also be a good take home during the work week.

I’m giving 2 stars because they have great calzone, but we won’t be returning. My best advice is to stick with the calzone and skip anything else. The great thing about a family owned restaurant is it’s a local family you want to support, but in this place it makes it so they aren’t objective at all. I complained about an inedible dish of linguine and clams that I had ordered and instead of trying to make it right the waiter was offended. I really wanted to just put it in a box myself and make it better at home, but he swept my plate away to box it up and I am too scared to eat it now, since he was so offended. Did he spit in it? I hope not, but I’m not going to try it just in case. Because of my complaint I received a visit to the table from the owner/chef’s wife, and instead of saying they would try to make it right buy maybe not charging me for something I couldn’t eat, I was instead informed that there are many styles of Italian cooking and maybe the one I like is different than the one they make. I just wanted to taste garlic, wine, maybe butter, just flavors in my food. She asked if I put salt in it and I said I shouldn’t have to salt food in a restaurant. She told me that she had been told that the linguine was lacking flavor before, as well as the alfredo sauce apparently, but that it was their way of doing it. I just have to say that if you have received complaints maybe instead of being offended you try to make it better. Hell, I’ll come cook some of my own for you. It starts with garlic, butter and olive oil. She asked me not to say in any review that I may write anywhere that the spaghetti sauce tastes like canned, but honestly it does. I’ll give you my recipe for that too, but if you have heard these complaints before make it better or close your doors. Our dinner was $ 62.75 for 1 plate of inedible linguine, a plate of veal parmesan that was a frozen veal patty with a slab of half melted mozzarella on it and tinny tasting sauce, and 1 calzone. I promised the kids tiramisu, so we ordered it, but this wasn’t even good. No hint of rum to be found. It’s really hard to find the flavor at this place. There are too many good Italian places in the Treasure Valley to waste time on one that refuses to take criticism and improve.

Yummy! Finally an authentic italian food restraunt down town nampa, this place is delicious, and has an awesome outdoor patio to sit out and relax on(expecially in the summer evenings) the food is affordable and comes in great size. The service is nice, food takes a little bit longer to be delivered to your table but they make it all from scratch YUM! Also there family meal deal is amazing and will feel a family of 4 – 8 depending on appetite well worth the money(:

Great Italian cuisine. Far from the canned franchise stuff you’ll find elsewhere. They have outside seating. The staff is always really friendly. Hand made everything. I always bring friends here when we want something unique and relaxing. Also, the dinner rolls are a treat. Definitely recommend this joint.
