Wish I would of listened to the reviews before coming here. Their corn dog was disgusting! I took one bite and couldn’t even swallow it. And the burger was dry and didn’t look like real meat. the bun was soggy, like REALLY soggy! The fries were not that great either! The only thing good was the shake! Won’t be coming for food anymore only ice cream or if I get a craving for an old fashion shake.

Good food, cute little restaurant drive-thru. Very unique hamburgers. Customer service was pretty good. The only reason I’m giving it three stars instead of 5 is because the French fries were a little cold. Other than that the experience was pretty great. I’ll be back Im sure.

This place has the best fry sauce I’ve ever had. We go here for the onion rings and the pellet ice.

Wheelers has been around since the 1950s. They are a classic mom and pop burger joint. They are the home of the long and juicy hamburgers. I have been eating there, since as long as i can remember. Are they the best burger place in town, no but what you get from them is that good old fashioned vibe. Customer service that is incredible. A place were they know you by name. There ice cream and milkshakes are the bomb! They have the best fry sauce in town. There onion rings are some of the best around when they have somebody that knows how to make them working. I recommend the green river or scotch and soda. The burgers are OK, but they are nothing to write home about. There are better burgers to be found elsewhere.

Really really bad I honestly originally thought this place was closed by the building appearance very old and run down the signs are all faded pieces of paper taped to the drive up window. The only reason why I even tried it was because my better half said they had been their forever and the onion rings were really good. They were dripping of grease. The hamburgers are on a hogie bun and the burger the same shape seemed like an OK concept but the burger was dry and condensed or tuff it was not very tasteful at all. The only thing that was positive was it was hot. It was $ 23.00 for 2 of us and we only had 1 drink so it was very spendy to eat terrible food. Both woman working had filthy blue shirts on that was another sign that this business doesn’t care like maybe they once did in 1953 as the sign reads. I really don’t think I can’t stomach giving this place a second chance I don’t believe. I don’t like not giving a place 2 or 3 try to be fair but I was really especially disappointed in this visit. Sometimes it’s just a cook or new help but this burger joint screams stay away to me. If I drive by in the future and the owners even make the building appearance fresh and clean I will try it again but this place needs someone to do a complete intervention. …I wish them luck and hope they monitor their Unilocal and decide to change their poor business practices. I would give this experience a negative 10 if I could. I feel bad having to give such a poor review but it’s the truth of the visit.

I am torn. Extremely greasy food BUT delicious shakes. If you are looking for a good meal, go somewhere else but stop by here afterwards for a refreshing shake. Lots of flavors to choose from. No indoor seating, simply a drive-through.

Greasy halibut, lukewarm food otherwise. Didn’t honor the Groupon as the staff couldn’t make it work. My advice would be NOT to attempt to utilize the discount coupons from Yollar, amazon or other places where they are available as the inconvenience just isn’t worth it.

I was so excited to try this place out for the first time but when I did I have to say the drive from boise to nampa was a complete waste of time and I was seriously disappointed. The patties tasted like processed meat that had been cooked five hours before being placed on my burger. The cook put about a carton of salt in the onion ring batter. After my first bite it actually became a joke between my husband and I as we tore apart each one trying to find the onion in each onion ring. Needless to say there was barely a sliver. Overall it was a horrible experience. Perhaps they just had a bad night… but all I can say is the food was horrible and it was a complete was of time and money.

The classic burger joint in Nampa. Home of the long juicy hamburger. The food is nothing special but the restaurant carries some nostalgia and ambiance that is worth experiencing. They also have a food challenge called the 18 wheeler that sounds pretty intense. Very few people have their name on the wall that they survived it.
