Little pricey at $ 5 an ice cream but that’s expected by the location. I had the rum raisin ice cream which had good flavor. Wish they had a few more flavor options.

I’m surprised at the reviews from last summer — really sound more like they are based on service and cost, but not the ice cream itself. While both are important, for sure… I am basing this solely on the quality of the ice cream. $ 4.95 for a regular cone or cup(two very large scoops) is pretty standard ’round these parts. The first time(yep, I visited twice) I got a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of black raspberry. The girl behind the counter was a sweetheart as I tried to decide what went with black raspberry. She chirped, «CHOCOLATE!» and sure enough, excellent combo! Two days later, I returned for more of that black raspberry ice cream because it was awesome! I tried a different ice cream place inbetween my visits to Stars… and Stars won the flavor contest for me! Notes on the shop: I think that service could potentially get surly because it’s hot as Hades in there and I have to imagine those kind of working conditions could make anyone a little testy! That said, I didn’t experience that on either of my visits! The two different girls were very sweet. WARNING: CASHONLY

Where do I start? How about $ 4.95 for a regular cone. Want sprinkles/jimmies– that’s a buck extra. Flavor selection — minimal. And the attitude behind the counter wasn’t very good, the guy spent the whole time I was there yelling at the cutomers to close the screen door — over and over. The store is small, so the line went out the door. He wanted everyone to cram inside and close the screen door. Weird and kind of creepy…

Attitude, attitude and more attitude! Are you kidding me? When I tell you it seemed as though we were bothering them from something is an understatement! No smiles, no friendly demeanor. Just a lot of yawning and huffs and puffs. Didn’t leave a tip, but should have written a «tip of the day» on a piece of paper stating«get a positive attitude and your tip jar will be more full!» On a fair note, however, my husband enjoyed his choco ice cream and my daughter and I had the fruit smoothie which was average(not terrible and not one of the best).

Tucked away by the piers, this place had awesome ice cream and soft serve frozen yogurt. I really enjoyed my $ 5 ice cream… and the regular size is quite large! Beware, they only accept cash.

Amazing quantity for the price. Best value on the island, I think. Their selection is not as amazing as Juice Bar’s, but you’re bound to find something you want. They have both soft serve and ice cream. I wish there was more sitting room, but try to snag one of the two picnic tables right on the water.
