Had a great experience here. I have always wanted to try this place out after passing by the Paramus, NJ location numerous times. The menu seemed to have some great options and the prices seemed very reasonable. Me and my little guy decided to take the Mrs. out on a pre-Valentine’s Day dinner date. We decided to visit the Nanuet location. We went at about 9pm on a Saturday night and there were tons of extra tables. We called about 8PM or so and were told that there were no tables available at the time but that they would take down our names and save us a table to our estimated 9PM arrival. We arrived at about 8:50PM and were seated immediately. Everyone was very nice and accommodating, especially to our 5 year-old, which is always nice when trying to keep him him well behaved during a restaurant visit. We were given menus, crayons and a coloring/activity book. Yes, a book, which is about 7 – 8 pages of coloring and activity, as opposed to most other chain restaurants with one page. This is a minor detail, but makes a big difference when trying to keep younger kids happy and away from their phones/ipods. We decided to get a bunch of stuff including the Maryland Crab Cakes, Bang Band Shrimp, Popcorn Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp, Crusted Trout, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Jasmine Rice. Everything was great, but if I had to criticize, I would say that the crusted trout could have been a bit more flavorful. Bang Bang Shrimp was as great as everyone says it is. We asked for everything to be brought out all at once and everything was brought out within 20 – 25 minutes or so. Maybe because the restaurant was emptier than usual at that time, but I wasn’t complaining. The bill was very reasonable after feeding the three of us and taking home quite a bit of food. I was very happy with our experience there and would love to return sometime soon.

I enjoyed the restaurant but really feel we had a lame waiter. When told this was my first time there he went into a tarade of what was what. The menu is pretty diverse but not being a drinker seems to turn off some waiters. The food was very good but really, an ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes? The presentation needs some work. He seemed upset when I asked about the salad dressings and my entrée came out before I finished it. I asked for sweet and low and it took 10 minutes to get. He never came back to ask how the food was and only asked which dessert I wanted that came with my meal. Guess he knew I didnt want coffee and my wife would share my small dessert. Overall as I said the restaurant is okay but I wish I had a different waiter. And it wouldnt kill one of the many Mgrs to say hi.

I was so disappointed over the wait time and service here. We were offered a table at the bar but wanted a table in the dining room. We were promised it was going to be a 15 – 25 mins wait. After waiting 30 mins they offered us a seat by the bar. That seat was open the whole time we waited. We told them we were waiting for a seat in the dining room which took another 15 mins. No apology was given. At our table we waited another 15 mins before we were acknowledged. At this point it didn’t matter how the food was because the poor service took away my appetite.

This location has great food and service. I sit at the bar whenever I visit. DiGiovanni is a great bartender. He is very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks. He has a great personality which is what you need behind a bar. Some of these chain restaurants have such lazy people but fortunately, this restaurant was smart when hiring him. You can’t go wrong with either the sirloin or the Chilean sea bass with Pan Asian sauce… YUMMM! The tuna sashimi appetizer is pretty awesome as well. They put this awesome sauce on it which I always get an extra side of it when I eat my steak… I know it sounds weird, but it’s good. The manager Rob always stops by to say hi and make sure all of our food is hot and tasty. He is very nice manager and makes sure people get their food in a timely fashion without sacrificing quality. Not all places are like that. I went to a Bonefish Grill in Short Pump, VA and they sent out raw Chilean sea bass. I give this place an A++.

The food is always outstanding at both Paramus and nanuet locations we go to. This review mostly touches on the customer service we received at nanuet location recently. A new member of the management team named rob made sure we had an excellent experience. He checked on and talked to everyone at the bar. It’s nice to see a manager check on all their guest and ensure their experience was the best it could be. We had great service sat night 12 – 26 and day time 12 – 27. Keep up the good work. 5 stars!!!

Don’t know why, everything we have is room temperature, bang band shrimp, chowder, mussels, rice, mashed potatoes, except the hot water. I don’t think I will want any bonefish grill anytime soon. Will not recommend this location to anyone. The server was very friendly though.

Good service. Great food. The bang bang shrimp is excellent but only worth the price on Wednesdays when its on special for $ 6(used to be $ 5). The hostess is a little annoying and overbearing. She acts as if she owns the place and she clearly does NOT. I’ve dealt with management before and it brought me back. Max, the manager is awesome and so was the former manager, Danielle.

Bone Fish Grill 19 minutes ago 2.0 star rating 8÷26÷2015 What an terrible experience. Friends visiting from Florida wanted seafood for dinner so I suggested Bone Fish Grill in Nanuet NY. This place should be renamed BONHEAD Grill. After being seated I asked for bread, and placed our dinner order. We were hardly half way through our salad when dinner was served. I asked that it be brought back to the kitchen and kept warm, until our salad was finished and the table cleared. When the dinner was served, I thought there must have been a fifth person at our table because my entrée was so wrong it was nothing like what I had ordered, wrong main course, wrong side etc. Bread finally delivered. Some time later when when the correct entrée came out I asked for tarter sauce(3X) never delivered, asked for a new napkin(2x) never got one. The closing act was almost funny, I ordered cheesecake after a while the manager bring’s my quests their desert coconut cake which I must say was pretty good, and informed me they have run out of cheesecake. After complaining they find a small piece of cheesscake in the kitchen, believe me it was not worth waiting for. We hand the server a coupon for $ 10.00 received on line as ask for our check. Of course our check comes without the $ 10.00 deduction. Sensing my frustration the manager appears with a $ 25.00 gift card to be used for a future Bone head visit. AS my wife suggested, this establishment is a prime candidate for a visit from«UNDERCOVERBOSS»

I always love when my boyfriend takes me here! We usually go pretty late during the week, so it isn’t as busy compared to the weekends. I’m guilty of getting the same thing but it’s because I love it: Bang-bang Shrimp as an entrée. You’re always served bread and pesto as an appetizer. Sometimes we get the edamame and it comes with green tea salt, which is okay, but sometimes the edamame is oversteamed. Still all right. Once in a while we will get the Strawberry Shortcake for dessert and it’s always delicious. The staff is extremely friendly whenever we come and highly attentive. The atmosphere is really nice, with booth, table, or high-top seating.

You know. Im getting tired of reviewing fast food restaurants. It can be said that a star gets taken off just for the fact its faster food. Bonefish grill has been beyond terrible just about all three times I have been there. Why I have gone there three times I don’t even know. Shame on me. Bring back local restaurants that are owned by locals.

Excellent, from the time we rolled through the front door(I am in a wheelchair) My wife and I were at the shops at Nanuet, we decided on a early dinner at the bonefish grill, we were greeted and helped by a wonderful cheerful polite hostess April Sh seated us in a comfortable table, our wait staff was led by very efficient waiter named Micheal. After looking over the yummy choices, I decide on my favorite standby, fish and chips, my wife opted for the delectable delicious American Kobe beef burger medium well, it all came out in about ten minutes, hot, plated and good size Very eye appealing, my wife’s burger looked so good, I tried some, next time we go back, I just might order it, my fresh fish and chips were done to perfection, tempura style, yum yum, a little bit too salty but the fish and chips is also my favorite ther, oh decisions, decisions, Micheal and crew were constantly making sure everything was up to our satisfaction, I must warn you if you get dessert(we skipped appetizers, for dessert, the fresh made dough nuts is a must, but get a double order, three is not enough, They were sooo good Be back soon, thanks to well run, clean, good food restaurant 5 stars to you and thank you all

The first time I tried food from Bonefish was a few months back. They provided food for an event my company was having. We had the shrimp tacos and donuts. They may have given us one more entrée, I can’t remember what it was though. In any event, I fell in love with their food then and there! Not to mention the staff is always so nice and personable. I had no idea what to plan for Mothers Day and then they came around spreading the word for their brunch on Mothers Day. They gave me a coupon for complimentary bang bang shrimp, so I made a reservation on the spot. Bottomless mimosas and bang bang shrimp, you can’t go wrong with that! I had the surf n turf eggs benedict, which was soooooo ridiculously delicious. I may have had too much to drink because I don’t recall what my mom and sister ordered. Either way I do remember that they were impressed with the food as well. While it was clearly a busy day for them, service was still spot on and attentive. I’ve been back recently and tried a Hawaiian cocktail of some sort. It tastes like a fruity coconut juice… with rum! And it even had an edible flower on top. Their edamame comes out with a unique matcha seasoning on the side. Anyone who knows me, knows my obsession with matcha. I was so impressed by this seasoning! I can’t wait to try it again. Everyone I’ve encountered here is very polite and they go above and beyond to make the customer happy. I really appreciate that and will continue to come here.

Came on a rainy Wednesday night, the place wasn’t busy. Sat at our table looked through the menu, decided what we wanted, talked and talked. By this time we were sitting for over 10 minutes and no one had approached us to say hi or take drink orders. We kept waiting another 3 – 5 mins, still no one. The tables around us were being serviced but not us. It was like the two waiters in our section thought the other one was responsible for our table. We just left and nobody was paying attention to even notice. It wasn’t even busy. We wanted to like this place, they need Gordon Ramsey to help improve their service.

I love the Bang Bang Shrimp tacos and Bonefish Grill but my last visit was not the typical. Service was extremely slow and I mean slow, which is weird because it was early(11:30 am) and the place was empty. The food was on par though but then our sever mixed up our bill with the neighboring tables bills and charged us incorrectly and refunded us and then charged us the right amount. It was a nightmare and the server did not explain this properly to us and had us worried about our credit card. It was just a horrible experience and really made us feel uneasy. Not to mention for the confusion our sever did not apologize, a manager never came over to help us feel easy, and he said some unprofessional words in front of us. I was not impressed at this location and will stick to my Paramus venue.

There’s something special about The Bonefish Grill in Nanuet, NY. It is not like any ordinary restaurant; it is the special kind of place you would reserve for a hot date with someone(or more than one person, if you’re in to that) from your old high school. Upon arriving at The Bonefish Grill, the lovely aroma of bones and fish affect all of your senses. After being greeted warmly by your host, you will be directed to your table for the evening. And if your night goes anything like mine, you will have the pleasure of being there for most of the evening. I could go in to more detail about the romantic ambiance of The Bonefish Grill and detail every last memorable minute of my experience, but I’ll cut to the chase: when you go to The Bonefish Grill, you make memories that last a lifetime. Oh, and be sure to have a stranger snap a pic of you and your date(s), biffle(s?), or just yourself before you leave! PS: food was OK too!

Im really tired of reviewing chain restaurants, the reviews are always the same. I’m disappointed. We had reservations for a large birthday party. They just don’t have the space to accommodate a party of more than 6(we had 8). They sat us by the door and tucked in the corner. We had to haphazardly place a chair on the end to fit everyone. It was cramped to say the least. Drinks took forever to get. We weren’t ordering cocktails, we were ordering beers and there’s only two of us ordering anything that has to come from the bar. It also seemed like they were out of a lot of stuff. That being said, the food was good. The bang bang shrimp, the dumplings, everything was delicious and satisfactory. Everyone liked their meals. So that’s why I’m giving three stars. Other than that I will say the service was definitely lacking as well as the space especially since we made a reservation.

Always a wait time over 1 hr for dinner on weekends! Came here for dinner with the family and ended up waiting for an hr and half on a saturday night. Didn’t end up eating until 9pm. We ordered the calamari, mussels, and the ceviche. I would say definitely get the mussels — they’re very tender — perfect. The calamari is pretty good too — maybe slightly breaded too much. The ceviche in my opinion was just ok. I had gotten the sirloin and crab cakes for my entrée. I really like crab cakes, but it was subpar, surprisingly after reading reviews. The sirloin I got was medium rare and it was pretty good — seasoned well and cooked appropriately. The garlic mashed potatoes were good too. I would say the food was decent, but service really needs their kinks sorted out. They had ran out of quinoa for two of my family members and so they got couscous instead. However, they ended up getting quinoa anyways. Also, one of the orders had«something wrong» and so it was late, so they gave one order of soup to wait for it. And finally at the end, they had added on some stuff that wasn’t part of our meal and needed to be corrected. Overall. Ok — but be wary of things like these. P. S. Ask for the bread! It’s really good. Nice and warm. And it’s perfect to eat with the left over sauce from the mussels!
