Not really sure why I keep giving them a try. The wait is ridiculous!!! Monday night and I waited 15 minutes?! When I asked the manager about this he said they needed to make room for my large party of 5. 5!!! That was the first of many jokes of the night. Fun fact: Peak in the room closest to the front, by the bar and guarantee more than 75% of the tables are empty. Surprise! You will wait anyway. I got the feeling the Manager doesn’t care if you are displeased with something.(Hence the stupid answer I was given for my long wait to be seated in a virtually empty restaurant). The other two staff members were nice and it almost makes me not want to say anything but then I wake up from that daydream and say something. The manager now, doesn’t really seem to care about feedback. He will however comp an appetizer just not to hear anything else you want to say. The food? Eh. Can be considered good if and only if The prices were more of a match to the okay food. I’m annoyed because I spent $ 100 plus on a dinner experience that was sub par. I doubt I will be going back to red lobster again. I’m done with this chain.

Crab Fest, with worry free service. Came here for a Sunday dinner with the family. The wait time to be seated was fast, due to reservation, the food arrived promptly, and our waitress was superb. I disliked not getting my free Red Lobster mason jar. Which according to the menu came free when ordering the High Tide drink, unfortunately it did not. Bummer! :(

I’m a huge fan of Red Lobster, you could call it an obsession.(Sad, I know) I’ve been to quite a few, however, this one was definitely lacking. Don’t get me wrong, my server was really nice and pleasant. However, the table they seated me at was dirty with food on the seat and floor around it. There wasn’t any silverware or menus when the hostess first sat me. Looking around, you could see leftover napkins and food on the floor from previous diners. So, cleanliness was not their strong suit. The food did take a bit longer than normal to appear. My lobster tacos were good, but they definitely skimped on the lobster and tried to make up for it with adding extra lettuce. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are looking to go to Red Lobster. If there is another one around town, you should give that one a try over this one.

I went here a few days ago with my friends and I was completely disgusted. The waitress was pleasant enough but the food was so bad we had to leave. First I ordered a strawberry lemonade and when the waitress brought it out I just couldn’t believe that the strawberry on the side was moldy and there’s no way whoever made the drink did not see it, just gross. My friends food was uncooked, mine was ok but I just couldn’t eat here after that.

They used to be a good location. Though they were not busy, service was so slow, our appetizer and main entrees came out almost at the same time

I haven’t been to a red lobster in ages. Since relocating to the east coast, there has been a plethora of seafood places to go to. So why go to red lobster right? While on vacay in NY we stopped to have dinner at this red lobster. The server was cool. The food was … O K. Remember the days when Red Lobster was the«go to» spot. Now its just like a Golden Coral. Or a Sizzler. The biscuits were good as always but they didn’t bring us much. My caesar salad has a boat load of caesar dressing on it when I said to go light on the dressing. Over all it was an OK experience. I’ll go to another Red Lobster maybe in a year.

For the price you get decent seafood. If I was rating their cheddar biscuits alone it would be 5 stars. I could sit there and eat those for a meal, haha. Its a chain seafood place so I didn’t expect much. The food and service is good. Nothing spectacular but not bad at all. I had a lobster pot pie and my girlfriend had crab cakes. They were both filling, more bread than anything, but taste good. Its a good place to go for seafood without paying too much for it.

So I haven’t been to Red Lobster in at least a decade. But I do remember that their cheddar bay biscuits are banging. This particular location seems to employ the elderly, as most of the waitresses appeared to be over 50 years old. My waitress was friendly and quick with the service. The food was OK. I ordered Cajun Chicken Alfredo. In reality, my brother and I ordered Cheddar Bay Biscuits with a side of whatever random lunch special they had. We basically ate a bunch of the biscuits and barely touched our pastas. But the biscuits were banging. The pasta was about as good as you’d get from Olive Garden or Carraba’s. The waitress said I could’ve just bought biscuits. Next time I’m feeling em, I’m just gonna get a bag of biscuits to go.

Why must we wait so long, even when the place is virtually empty? Everybody is running around, busy, but seemingly accomplishing nothing. They all have radios, gee whiz. It’s beyond me why entrees consistently take 45 minutes or more to come out. The food is… well, okay. Sometimes very good, especially some of the feature items, like the New Orleans style fish. If you’re looking to eat the place broke, you ‘d best wait for one of the many sale«feast» «fest» «feature» sales drives they put on. But even those can be a disappointment: They dole out the small portions with significant delay, ostensibly hoping you’ll give up or fill up before you really channel your«all-you-can-eat» inner monster. Waiting to get a table seems even more dubious folly. You’ll regret it even more, and what used to be reasonably priced acceptable quality food seems now expensive delayed quasi-gratification. The cheezy biscuits are decadent albeit greasy, but eat too many and you won’t finish the overpriced entrée you waited too long for. Master Plan? I hope not. The Nanuet location has one undeniable strength: the waitstaff is friendly, dedicated, and professional. Many have worked at the same location for over a decade, which is a industry rarity. It’s just what(isn’t) happening behind the curtain that gives me pause. Long, long pause…

I haven’t been to red lobster in about 6 years! I dunno what made me suggest it for dinner saturday night, but it happened. Wasn’t amazing, wasn’t disgusting. Service started out iffy, so manager comped up a free app: got the lobster pizza. I had 1 piece, crust was good but lobster was chewy and sparse. I got a piece of wood-grilled salmon and broccoli, half portion. I enjoyed it. Everyone else seemed to enjoy what they got. I’d go again but am afraid the service wouldn’t be good. It was embarrassing to have suggested it and not be greeted for 10 mins until one of the people in my party had to go complain.

Went here for a business dinner and ordered crab linguine with Alfredo sauce. Crab came out still partially frozen in the pasta. Salad greens were brown on the edges and wilted. Gross.

I haven’t been here in a while. So, after a meeting tonight, me and my fiancé gave it a try. It was busy but we had no wait time. The service was good and the food was good. You know you’ve gotten your money’s worth when you get home and you are not hungry again. 3 stars because it’s not amazing and it’s not bad. It’s just right.

The food was cold, lazy staff, party of 6 everyone hated it. It’s not worth it, pay extra for restaurants that have seafood. Food tasted like it was microwaved. Not worth it

I love this place. The staff has always been nice and friendly. Always stuffed afterwards. The passion colada drink is delicious. The only bad part is the wait for the cheddar biscuits! Yum!

It’s been a while since I had Red Lobster. Eating there means I have to intentionally venture into the depths of Times Square, which is every locals’ nightmare. Either that or take a trip outside of Manhattan which usually is a rare treat in itself and involves too many other tempting food options. But as fate would have it, I was destined for Endless Shrimp that day and I doubt this would be my last time. During dinner I told myself I must deconstruct their addictive biscuits so I can make them at home. Warm, cheesy and flaky. I’m not sure if any of the ingredients in it are healthy. Not much else on their menu is very interesting. but chain restaurants tend to end up that way. About this particular Red Lobster location, their staff was great – super friendly and knew how to keep those biscuits coming!

A few weeks ago, their shrimp all you can eat special was heavily advertised and is the only time we go, but we do. Why? Not because it is the best seafood restaurant around, but because their shrimp special is really worth the price. So we don’t go and order something else — we stick with their drawing card, expecting it to be above average in quality and below average in price. Bingo! We win. Service was pleasant, place is seafood attractive, and the various shrimp dishes allow you to easily find a favorite. Even if you don’t overeat(don’t look at me, though) the value and quality are decent, and entice us back for this special at least once a year. Yeah, it’s a chain, and not my favorite, but I go just for this special —and it is!

I don’t have anything against chain restaurants, but this experience made me realize why chain restaurants can be really disappointing compared to a mom and pop restaurant. Went in on a Sunday night. They had the all you can eat shrimp promotion going on, so I’m sure the servers were tired. The place was maybe 50% full at most. We still had to wait 15 minutes for a table for two. Didn’t have time to sit down and pig out on greased up and fried shrimp, so ordered two regular entrees with oysters as an appetizer. After about 20 minutes, our appetizers arrived with their signature cheddar bread. The oysters were absolutely dry. Terrible. At least the bread was good. Waited another 25 minutes and our entrees finally arrived. Seriously, it took 45 minutes for a seafood platter and some fisherman’s feast(whatever they call it)? The server was just absolutely horrible. She spent most of her time chatting it up with the table next to us. She gave some excuse that the entrees can’t be put in until the appetizer is done, etc. Either way, we ended up packing up most of the two entrees. The entrees were mediocre. In conclusion, bad food, bad service, and employees that just don’t care from the hostess to the manager. Avoid this place at all costs. Hope corporate comes in and cleans the place up, because they don’t care at all about the customer here.
