TERRIBLE! Go to any local diner instead. When a breakfast place serves canned or concentrated orange juice, they shouldn’t be in business. After the terrible fail at what every breakfast place should get right, I had a breakfast sandwich with a side of corned beef hash that absolutely, 100%, came straight out of a can. I have a pretty fair tolerance — sometimes restaurants have a bad day — but there is no excuse for serving canned/concentrated food. To be fair, the service was fine but it would have to be on some kind of supernatural level to get me back into that place.

Love this place. Food is great, the place is clean, the service is good! Ordered a side of extra well done bacon … it was actually well done which most places never get right and it was also a huge portion for the price!

I had breakfast with my SO here this morning and the food was good for the most part. Our waitress was really nice and attentive too. My SO ordered pastrami with eggs, toast and home fries and I got one of the pancake specials, which came with 3 pancakes, eggs, sausage, and home fries. The pancakes are HUGE and if you’re with someone else or two other people, only one of you needs to order the pancakes. The home fries were decent and eggs are eggs, can’t really mess that up. I tried some of his pastrami, which tasted to me like hot garbage(pretty strong description, I know). It had like a spoiled taste in my mouth but he said it was fine. We finished up our meal by eating the pancakes. Your jaw will actually hurt a little from chewing the pancakes so much. My SO described the pancakes as a rubbery consistency and I likened the flavor to the kind of store bought pancakes you microwave; however, they didn’t taste bad. Overall, it’s a decent place to eat with good service.

If you’re seeking a great breakfast or lunch at a reasonable price, this place is for you. Everything is fresh, well prepared and delicious! The menu is large for a small venue, so there is something for everyone. The waffles, pancakes and French toast can’t be beat especially when served with fresh fruit. The place is small but waiting a bit for a table is well worth it. The staff is friendly and it’s a pleasure to eat here. If Guy Fieri found this place, he’d love it!

This is a great diner to have breakfast or lunch. We come here often after playing tennis at the nearby Westrock Courts. There is a warm, homey atmosphere. The service is efficient and they know how to handle corny old men cheerfully. I’ve tried much of the breakfast menu and have never been disappointed. The portions tend to be quite ample, so beware!

This place is a pleasant surprise! Wasn’t expecting a nice little restaurant in a warehouse looking building. The food was good and the service was friendly and quick. I would definite come back! The pancakes are huge BTW!!!

This charming little diner is located in what looks like a deserted warehouse parking lot. In my opinion, it’s in an odd location. However, inside its really cute, I came on a Sunday morning and the place was busy but not too packed or unruly. The service was super friendly and accommodating. Encouraging even. The pancakes are HUGE. All caps for emphasis. They have a full b fast menu of eggs, waffles, fruit bowls, toast lol, ect, but the star of the menu is the pancakes. They have a nice variety of how you can order them. They serve you cute little personal jars of syrup. Pumpkin pancakes are really good here. Whole wheat apple pancakes are good, although the apple pieces were cut a tad too big for me. The coffee is really good too.

Delicious, very fast and attentive service. Enjoyed early Sunday breakfast with out of town relatives. I loved Eggs Benedict(Florentine), others had Belgian waffle(tasted waffle — excellent), omelet, pancakes which they enjoyed. Thanks for a great meal!

At first, we were very reluctant given location near an autonomy shop, but we were very surprised at how busy it was! Food was very good and service was also very good. If ever back in the area will come back

I love Pancakes Plus, one of my favorite spots in Rockland for a hearty breakfast. Place is comfortable, casual, service is quick and friendly, they have a huge menu of breakfast specialties, and the food is consistently great. And they’re terrific on the sides — love the hash browns and the bacon. Kids can’t get enough of the chocolate chip pancakes.

I frequently go to this diner when in Rockland when visiting my in-laws. In the few times I have been here(random weekday morning, or weekend brunch time) we have been seated quite quickly, even on the weekends when the parking lot/waiting area and restaurant are all packed! The waitresses here are the star of the place, aside from the pancakes, they are so friendly, very very attentive, always come by for refills on coffee or to drop off napkins when see you running short, tip them well-they more than deserve it and earn it! Go hungry, you wont be disappointed and you probably wont be able to finish your plate-their servings are just that enormous. 1. I’ve had their banana walnut pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes and their plain buttermilk ones…3/3 were a success! 2. eggs, each time I have ordered them, are plentiful in portion and cooked well, not too stiff and definitely not too runny 3. hashbrowns are so so-usually to mushy, undercooked for me, and ill seasoned 4. my wife loves their coffee, I cannot vouch for this since I dont drink it, but their OJ is fine for me! 5. yes their add on toppings(ice cream, fresh fruit, vegetables, avocados etc) can add a few bucks here or there for either your pancakes, waffles or omelets but because their pricing is so low and fair for what you get, its really not a big deal definitely a fan of this place, just wished their hours were a bit more extended on weekends.

The food here is excellent, but what makes this place so awesome is the staff. The waitresses and waiters are always patient and kind, even on the busiest Saturdays. I have come here countless times; even when we have had parties of 10 during peak hours on a Saturday, we still get excellent and quick service. Favorite combo– Almond Coconut and Chocolate Chip Pancake— tasted like an almond joy bar and they are never stingy with toppings. A great solid place for breakfast!

(2.5 stars) I used to come here all the time as its sort of the go-to local breakfast place. But when I went again this weekend for the first time in a while, it seemed to have lost some of its appeal. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes with scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. The pancakes were large, fluffy and enjoyable; but the chocolate chips were almost all in the center, which made the center very gooey and the perimeter really plain. It really took away from the quality of the pancakes. Both the eggs and turkey sausage were uninspiring. It didn’t seem like anything was added to them in terms of seasoning or preparation. They were pretty much as basic as they could possibly be. Definitely not the meal I remember and perhaps time to find another breakfast place…

We have been here a few times, always a wait but worth it. It has the atmosphere of a large coffee shop, a rare find these days.(How I miss coffee shops!) I usually order eggs but the last time I ordered a small side of pancakes, just to try them. They looked delicious, but the flavor just wasn’t there, and they were a little overcooked and chewy for my taste. The coffee is awesome, hot and they walk around offering refills. Eggs and potatoes are good, served hot and portions are just right. Bathrooms are always clean, which makes coming here preferable to a diner(I’ve yet to find a diner with a clean bathroom). There is a slightly rushed feeling because the waiting area is basically in the corner of the dining room. If you sit near the front it is awkward eating at a normal pace when hungry people are watching you while they wait for their table. I’d suggest going at an off-peak time– the few times we have been there have been during Sunday breakfast– or requesting a table near the back.

It pains me to give this tiny hole in the wall one star. Unfortunately this is the lowest rating you can give on Unilocal. Bad place for kids!!! Just wanted to add that the older man who screamed and used profanity in front of my little kids said he was the owner. I’m guessing this older man is a family member of the owner. The amazing part is when I spoke to the actual owner he defended the older mans behavior by saying«if the jelly packets fell on the floor someone could step on them and make a mess». On another occasion I witnessed the same older man throw two elderly ladies out because they spent to much time drinking their coffee. It’s very clear that the owner condones this behavior and believes that he’s not losing customers. Don’t wastes your time or money in this place! Go to an establishment where they appreciate your patronage. You will all notice the food and service has declined in addition to an owner and employee who believe customers will continue to frequent their establishment in spite of how they are treated. VERYUNPROFESSIONAL!!! I went to Pan Cakes Plus with my wife and 3 kids on Saturday 4÷26÷14. There was an older man working the front, seating people. My children are 5, 3&1. The kids were playing with the jelly packs while we were eating. The food is just average. When we finished, I paid the bill and took two of our kids to strap them in the car and my wife took one to the restroom. In front of my young children the older man followed me to the parking lot and started SCREAMING about the jelly packets being left on the table. THISPLACEISNOTFAMILYFRIENDLY! I called the owner to tell him what happened and he seemed to feel that yelling at regular paying customers is acceptable. If you are a family with kids stay away! Family’s with young children are not welcome.
