Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar

Where to begin… We walked into an almost empty restaurant during a sunday evening and were told we could not be seated right away because they just sat a server and did not want to «overwhelm them”(more than half of the restaurant was empty, including the bar). We ordered drinks and waited 20+ minutes for them. My husband asked for a salad before his meal and ended up getting his salad after his burger and our cold fries. Before my second drink arrived we had finished our meal and paid for it. No manager was in sight or even came to speak to us. I have given this place multiple chances and they have failed every time. It’s a shame because the food is good but there’s no point when you get everything cold or too late.

Really good burger place. We tried the brunch burger (a Sunday special) and it was very tasty, cooked perfectly and priced right $ 6.
Yummy truffle fries, did not taste of cheap truffle oil, but could have been fried a little longer.
The iceberg lettuce salad with blue cheese and bacon was yummy and they split it for us which was nice.
Nice staff and good service.

Good burgers. Bad service. Every time I eat here it takes a very long time to be served. As long as you go in expecting a long wait once you are seated, you’ll be fine. Don’t go in starving!

Disaster !!! My BF got sooooo sick from ahi tuna burger for 4 days he almost died. Just have burgers and salad.

Went there with good friends of mine for dinner. Waitress and staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The burgers are fantastic, I also had a banana royale shake which was awesome. Just be mindful of your timing because they do get busy. Will go again.

Love love love! So good and fresh never had a bad meal. Waiting time can be insane and the staff or kitchen often take long or make mistakes but when they get it together it’s worth the wait

On a slightly chilled evening in late December, we spot a family sitting there a table outaide, warming themselves over a fire pit, and between that sight and a 45 minute wait I realize the appeal of this place, so named because of their offerings of wine and burgers. I had neither though that wasn’t Zinburger’s fault — I just really wanted their Buffalo chicken sandwich, which was massive and tasted spectacular, replete with Frank’s Hot Sauce and pepper Jack cheese. Side of fries for 5 bucks was actually a generous portion. Kids meals at 7 a piece and with more fries. (The chicken fingers here are actually strips, and the mac and cheese is breaded.) Wife got the gluten free bun which makes it a good option for the GF and celiac crowd. No complaints and the service was great.

While in the neighborhood we were looking for a place to eat. We haven’t tried this place before so we decided to go for it. My wife and I both love burgers so we knew we hoped this Zinburger had something special to offer. When you first walk in there place is large and bright. It kind of has a modern diner feel to it. There is a large bar and they have daily drink specials. It is probably a good place to go for happy hour. Our server was very friendly and enthusiastic, very eager to entertain. After looking at the menu I decided to go for the burger that the place was named after, their signature Zinburger. We also kicked it up s notch and got the Kobe beef for an extra $ 5. I don’t think I ever had love bed before this so I was expecting alot. We also got their chopped wedge salad as a second dish to try. I’m disappointed to say that the burger fell flat. It didn’t have much flavor, out at least not as much as I was expecting. It was juicy but it came out a little over cooked. The salad up to par. It didn’t didn’t exceed expectations but it did meet them. It was also surprisingly filling. Overall the service was great, food was only OK.

I’ve had 5 different burgers here and all were pretty good but the ability to charge $ 10 to $ 18 a burger with no fries just irks my soul. Some really good servers there as well.

Decided to try Zinburger for their Happy Hour Specials, which was $ 5 plain and simple burger and ½ off fries and sides. We ordered 3 burgers along with sweet potato and zucchini fries. The burger specials were 5 without additions, and toppings such as cheese and extra veggies, bacon etc were about 0.50−1 dollar exta. The zucchini and sweet potato fries were really delicious and the Burgers were HUGE. The burgers had a large patty, and was very rich and greasy. It was really hard to finish the burgers and the sides, and sadly, had no room to try their milkshakes. I would definitely go back again for their happy hour deals, and to try their veggie burgers and milkshakes.

This is our go to burger spot while shopping and movies. Went there over the weekend had very very poor service walked into I almost fell on my butt I slipped on grease floor when I said to the guy who seated us it’s slippery he said there’s nothing wrong with the floor, he also mentioned it to his pregnant manager who didnt acknowledge us nor the incident happened. We ordered our dinner ask for silverware didn’t get it but got our salad asked again for silverware now our burgers came 10mins later got silverware complaint to the pregnant manager she was kind to remove 24 bucks from our bill but the waiter just carried on they were short staff n can’t wait to get out of work my point is just acknowledge your customers complaint and apologize…

The sloppy turkey burger was to die for. The food, service by John and ambiance was excellent! Will definitely be back.

Great service… food was OK. Nothing to jump up and down over. Priced a bit on the high side but what really stood out here were the cocktails. Awesome… we all loved what we got. I got the bourbon cocktail and it was one for the books. Simple, refreshing and tasty!
Zucchini fries disappointed as they were soggy and limp. Ranch dressing to the rescue. LOL
Décor, service, and cocktails make this a place to come back to. Perhaps they’ll sort out the menu a bit? Burgers were messy, plates were very spare for the price, and after spending $ 100 bucks for the 3 of us, we left still a bit hungry.

We went to Zinburger last night for the first time. The food, experience, and service were incredible!
The waiter helped us out with selection, letting us know some of the great burgers and how the meat is maintained. They grind the beef 3 times a day– kobe and regular!
I had «The Ringer» which was amazing!!! It was a burger with onion rings covered in Frank’s red hot, bacon, cheese and lettuce. It was the best burger I’ve ever had– so juicy and tasty!!!
I can’t wait to go back!

While in Nyack, My mother, brother and I had to stop by the barnes and noble in nanuet to pick up my sister which is across from the new shopping outlet that replaced the nanuet mall so we decided to stop by zinburger. Although it was my first time here, they have been here before and my mother raved about it. The interior is bery spacious, clean and is not your typical fast food burger joint.
As for the food now! I ordered the kobe burger sans onions and added bacon ordered medium. Fries or sides do not come added you must purchase them seperatly which i usually wouldnt mind but for $ 15 a burger i wish it came with some damn fries. Oh well. The burger is huge and taste very good but my bun got so soggy and the burger was falling apart. It tasted pretty good but Im sure ive had better. It was cooked perfectly though. My mother ordered the buffalo chicken sandwhich which she gobbled up and it did look very good.
Milkshakes are huge portions for $ 6. My dad ordered a res sangria and was ID’d (hes 57 seriously?) Id come again if my mother bought me but theres other options for a good burger to me.

After hiking for 5 – 6 miles at Harriman state park we decided food is long overdue.
Drove to Nanuet mall in Rockland county, zin burger was looking good right about then:-)
We were a group of 10 people luckily the large table was available to us right away, place was packed.
The list of burgers is endless all sound mouth watering, ended up with the Blanco burger and a side of zucchini fries and of course a glass of wine.
Happy camper baby, food was delicious, perfectly created so that I can rave about it.

Someone decided to order double truffle fries, yum to die for.

A bit disappointed in this place– have been waiting to check it out for a while and hubby finally felt like a burger so we ventured here post-​movie watching.
I had a west coast chicken burger which had pretty lookin tomatoes and lots of creamy avocado. The meat to bun ratio was off (in favor of the bun) so I had to section it apart to decrease the mouthfuls of bread I was getting. He had a zinburger which was cooked perfectly medium to order. Was it worth $ 10? Maybe, maybe not. As for sides, zucchini fries are typically my fave but these fell very short. They were soggy and the breading was falling off in the ranch– indications that the zuccs should have been dried more before breading and/​or cooked in hotter oil for shorter time. Truffle fries were good, not the best ever, but not bad. Also everything was doused in Parmesan! Now I looooveeee parm but it was too liberal here and masked a lot of the taste/​texture that I wanted. I don’t think I have ever complained about too much parm before…
Service though is quick and efficient, location is clean, one faucet in the bathroom was loose and wiggly but it gave out hot water at least.
The issue is this place has the potential to be astounding but misses the mark in the details.

Zinburger has become our go to for those times we are doing a spot of shopping or catching a movie at The Shoppes.
In general our experience has been a positive one. We seem to always have nice efficient servers, mostly young people, and the food has been good, some better than others. I particularly appreciate they have a vegan burger option which I like to have along with a shared order of their zucchini fries.
The facility always seems tidy and clean. My only complaints are… it can get kind of tight near the entrance when there are people waiting and the front end does not discourage those from loitering at the tables. Get those people to the bar area and their butts out of my zone! And the paparazzi in the loocy. What’s with that? ;))) I get such stage fright… TMI.
And as I mentioned in a tip, if one has a movie to catch nearby it might be best to go after as it can be slow especially at peak hours. But if one is interested in a leisurely meal then Zinnie’s is a good choice. And rumor has it they have a great Bloody Mary but I do not eat bacon so I will have to see if they can make me a veg friendly one. :)))

This place is a good spot to go for dinner before a movie next door or for a casual lunch with a friend. We always sit at the bar and each bartender we’ve seen has been attentive and personable.
I’m a burger and fry girl all the way but I had the Chinese chicken salad today and it was really good.
4 stars instead of 5 because it’s usually a pain to get a seat or sit at the bar during prime times. They do have call ahead though! Manager always takes the time to say hello as well
