Their Osmo Malo (Bad Bear) Cabernet Sauvignon is DELICIOUS! Bursting with strong juicy flavor up front, and then a nice long soft lingering yummyness.
The Alta family vineyard has hit the spot and they know it! Priced at $ 42 a bottle, i will be saving up to buy one for some special treat.
I stumbled upon this wine at a lovely event in Preservation Park in downtown Oakland this week, for which the family very generously provided their Alta wines for all. I’m not wild about whites, but their 100% organic Sauvignon Blanc 2001 was really tasty too.

Great Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Family owned and operated small winery. Their 2009 Cab is delicious and well priced. They custome crush and make their wine at Laird in Yountville. They own their vineyard where the grapes are grown up on Atlas Peak at about 1700 feet. Off the grid ranch with lots of expansive views and old oaks. They even have a cool Safari tent where they do private tastings. Great place to visit, sample some wine and enjoy nature.
