Our favorite place in town for fish tacos. We love the Baja style. The tazon bowls are also very tasty.

Their Fish Taźon is to die for!!! My favorite thing on the menu! My job won’t be in Napa anymore so I will really miss this place! Definitely a great place for lunch! They have outdoor seating which was my favorite place to sit during lunch and soak up some sun while I ate :)

Awesome fresh, healthy Mexican food. I enjoy their burritos, tacos, tazon(burrito filling inside a bowl) and salads. Great fish and meats. I would eat here everyday, and sometimes I do.

La taquiza is a really good place to eat. Everything tastes fresh, and the salsa bar is great, especially the habanero salsa. The churros are delicious, and the grilled Mexican street corn(elote) is a can’t miss! I put four stars instead of five for one simple reason. Taquiza is a Michelin recommended restaurant, and yet they don’t devein their shrimp. I would love to order a shrimp burrito now and then, or seafood cocktail, but I guess they don’t want to take the time to devein shrimp. I hope one day they fix that issue, because for many people that’s what separates low quality restaurants. Devein your shrimp people.

Located in a small shopping center off of Redwood Road, this taqueria serves grilled Octopus. That’s right, Octopus! That alone was enough persuasion. The Octopus Burrito was fairly good. Carnitas in the tacos was a bit dry, but good nonetheless. Bag of chips? I highly suggest skipping the add on. Not worth the taste nor the price. Habanero salsa is a clear winner as I was breaking a sweat! Want something different or even feel like skipping big fast food chains? Give this place a try. This seems to be the local favorite.

The highlight was the fish Tazan. It was amazing. The fish was grilled perfectly juicy on the inside and crispy in the outside. The lowlight were the carnita tacos. They tasted dry and a little gamy. Perhaps they were left out too long. Otherwise this place is a good value for what you get.

La Taquiza has fish on Fridays… every day. They have octopus, shrimp, oysters, you name it. The Baja fish are deep fried, while California fish are grilled. They have freshly made aguas frescas, and an excellent salsa bar with superb marinated red onions. Their tazas are a delicious combo of rice, beans… and the meat/fish of your choice. You can also request spicy. They’re quick, they have an open kitchen, and they’re local. They have pleasant outdoor seating with a view of Atlas Peak&the Vaca range. It’s appropriate, since underlying the Napa Valley is uplifted Pacific Ocean floor. La Taquiza is kind of pricey, sometimes their outdoor seating attracts the homeless… other than that, they’re a wonderful Napa Valley destination.

Great little place! Fish tacos are fresh and tasty. Baja style or not. Always a good spot to hit when you’re a little bit hungry but not too much. It will fill you up with happiness.

My friend and I were on a quick lunch break and were craving something local. My friend had been here before so I was game. I ordered the combo of a crispy fish taco and shrimp chico coctel. The taco was open faced and had a hearty amount of fish with a sweet, spiced crema. The coctel was good, with an impressive amount of shrimp. I would have liked a little more spice but I’m sure I could request that. The service was extremely fast and pleasant. Overall, I would definitely eat here again!

Great quality, service and location. Delicious fish tacos, the baja taco is excellent. Michelin guide mentioned this place so that’s legit! The horchata is made in house, very fresh. Overall great experience, we’ll be back! Good outdoor seating for bringing a dog :)

Always fresh and delicious! Great staff and excellent taco’s. If you are feeling adventurous try the Octopus Taco. The chewy, grilled and soft texture all in one taco is amazing! The pepita avocado salad with Carne Asada is light, refreshing and healthy. Quesadillas, fish taco’s and burritos and tonight, Mexican Corn!!! Come on down!

If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a stop. I had a Baja(fried) fish taco and a grilled octopus taco. Both were delicious. I wish I was with a few friends though so we could share several more items.

Michelin recommended with a highly affordable menu. Does it get better? The food is always high quality and super delicious. Baja style fish burrito /tacos are my go to, and they never disappoint. They make some great agua frescas as well — if they have the guava on tap, you should probably just buy the whole container. Best of all — their chipotle salsa. It’s ridiculously good and compliments the tacos /burritos perfectly. Sign me up. I’ll take two please, TIA.

This place was just fine after an afternoon of wine tasting. Nothing spectacular, nothing awful. If you’re going for fish tacos, definitely go Baja-style over California-style. The Baja was great, and tasted like code. The California tasted like trout – not what I was expecting. Maybe they were just having an off day. The good: quick food, outside seating. The bad: meh food.

Super awesome spot This was my first time in California so I had to try some tacos. I had a great chicken taco, a fried fish taco with mashed potatoes in it, and some chips with guacamole. Everything was delicious from start to finish. The restaurant itself has a cool vibe and the paintings are cool. Overall very impressed.

The restaurant is clean and modern with a promising menu. The tacos were a different story. I had the grilled fish and octopus tacos. In both cases, the seafood was warm, fresh, and done perfectly. However, they ruined it by topping it with fridge-cold toppings– crema, salsa, and cabbage. It was pretty much like eating a straight-up cold taco(not even room temp). Highly disappointed, and I didn’t even want to finish the tacos. Salsa bar was good. All salsas tasted fresh and were correctly done at room temp.

Small clean and modern looking Mexican joint. Got the Taquizas with potato and salt cod fried in tortillas. Also got the octopus taco. Taquizas were solid though one of the two wasnt quite hot in the middle. The octopus was decent and spicy on the salsa. I eat pretty hot but that still surprised me. Solid food and pretty fast.
