I went here for lunch last week. Ordered chicken and snow peas with fried rice, hot n sour soup. Took two spoonfuls of soup. Not good. I ate part of the rice, most of the chicken and snow peas which didn’t taste spoiled but was only barely tasty but very salty. As I left I asked if they use MSG and she very curtly said«No MSG» laughingly. I thought the wait help and the cashier were very cold and demanding, not customer service oriented at all. That night I was severely ill during the night with abdominal pain, kidney pain, diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea and some vomiting. Laid there for hours in pain. AND I have a stomach of iron; chemotherapy last year didn’t even make me nauseous. I returned the next day to report this and the woman acted like she was powerless to help, said I had to talk with the owner, didn’t take my name, wasn’t interested in the least, didn’t write anything down, just said call back and talk to him. I won’t be going back there or recommending it to anyone. You cannot leave a comment without putting at least one star. I wouldn’t give this place one star if I could take it out I would.

I was craving for Chinese food and saw this place. We ordered lunch specials. Sweet and sour pork with steam rice and curry chicken with steam rice, and it comes with hot n sour soup. Sweet n sour pork was delish and it hit the spot for me. For ten dollar a person it’s not that bad. Waiter we had was ok, be was not very friendly.

Went to this place today for lunch today because of recommendation and I’m so glad I’ve been introduced! I feel like Napa is notorious for having bad Chinese food but this place definitely is an outlier. I had the wonton soup, orange chicken, chow mein, potstickers, and fried rice. All of the dishes were very good, especially the fried rice. Unlike some Chinese places the meat seemed to be very good quality, and the best cuts. I think this place has the best Chinese in napa so I’m giving it 5 stars. Compared to a restaurant in like SF it’s not as good, but for Napa it’s great. The facilities definitely aren’t the nicest but the food is great and the staff was very friendly. I plan on coming here again!

1st time to visit. Started meal with ‘wor wonton soup’. Their small order of soup was large enough for 3 peeps. Soup was steaming hot, wontons in the soup were delicious. Soup was fresh tasting. Next on the order was their fried wings. We received only the middle part of the wing. Not the thick meaty part, where it’s attached to the body. Flavorful & crispy. Served w/o sauce. Lastly, we had garlic chicken. Meat was good. Included onions, mushrooms, water chestnuts & zucchini. The chicken garlic dish was delicious however disappointing b/c it was swimming in grease. We talked w/the owner, & he said that is how they make it. He mentioned that when we order we should request little oil, or request getting food steamed.

This place needs a major lesson on customer service. I came here for lunch and the customer service was non existent. Other than placing my order, getting my food and the check, the waitress was no where to be found. The best thing on the menu is the hot and spicy noodle soup which comes with the lunch special. I cant say anything nice about my meal though. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with a side of chow mein(extra $ 2 if you want chow mein instead of rice). The chow mein was super greasy and salty and the orange chicken was drenched in the sweet and sour sauce. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience. I definitely won’t be coming back.

Hot and spicy noodle soup is amazing! ! The best service in Napa. Sometimes I want vegetarian and the vegetable noodle soup is really good if you add tofu. and a spoonful of the chili paste. It’s a total meal especially with a Tsigtao.

This is our third time eating here and every time we go here the service is horrible. The first time we went was several years ago and our second was take-out about a week later. I couldn’t remember why we didn’t want to go back but after this last visit I remembered why. This visit the waitress was extremely rude and she was getting irritated by every question we asked while we were trying to order. She would sigh and we asked and even rolled her eyes at my mother. She was was very upset that we asked if they had«to go» or «kid» cups for the kid’s drinks so they didn’t spill and the waitress dropped off the drinks in a can with a huge attitude, raising her hands in the air and rolling her eyes. She was just all around rude and we will not be returning to eat here again. I also don’t like that we have to pay extra for rice for tea and rice most Chinese restaurants give these for free with your meal.

Let me first say«what chinese restaurant charges $ 2.00 for hot tea?» Really? Ordered a coke, which was flat and sent it back, so I stuck with water. The air-conditioner was broke and it was 90 degrees outside. The kungpao beef was nothing more than onion and some beef that looked like jerky. Potstickers were so-so. The waitresses were less than pleasant, personality was not their forte ‘. I won’t return.

We’ve been here before and thought we would give it another try. We’ll never go to this restaurant again, as before they had extreme terrible customer service. The waitresses was rude, and got mad when she brought us the wrong drink. I explained to her that I ordered coke, not sprite. The food was gross, slimy, the soup taste like it was spoiled. The Mongolian beef and rice was ok; but the rest of the food was questionable. When we visit a restaurant we always leave a tip, the better the service the bigger the tip; but this time they really didn’t deserve anything. It wasn’t just for the bad food, it was all about the horrible customer service and rudeness. They barely said hello when you walk in and when we left they couldn’t even say thank you. As we started to pay for our meal, the lady pointed to the bill, telling us we had to pay a tip. We just looked at her with surprise, and just paid the tip; because we didn’t want to get into an argument with them. The nerve of some people.

My wife is Chinese(Not ABC) and I was concerned this would not be up to her standards. The orange beef was very good and the pan fried noodles were delicious. The staff was attentive and nice, we will be going back again.

I noticed this place while visiting shopping center across the street. I order the Sweet & Sour Pork lunch special. I notice that the sweet and sour was dark in the batter. So I cut it up and it was brown in color. I cut all picks and all were brown none were cream or white in color. I think the pork was old and or was left out. I mention it to the waitress, who had the nerve to tell me that pork is brown. She must had thought I was from another planet. she even came back later to my table and told me that the cook said that pork in brown in color. I told her that I was going to check. I have cook pork and eaten pork at many restaurants and it has never been brown in color. I need to call the health department to investigate this matter further. I waste $ 9 on bad food.

Small portions, poor service and little unwanted surprises in your Chow Mein. When I saw how busy this place was, I thought it might be a good place to go. I was WRONG. The service was slow and the wait staff did not seem to want to help you. the food portions were small and not very tasty. Nothing like finding a samll rubberband in my chow mein to make things worse.

The restaurant was busy so I thought this would be a good place to eat. It’s amazing how wrong I was on that assumption. The service was slow to non existing. The food was not only basic and the portions were small but I found a rubber in my meal. I tried to complain but like I said earlier, the server was almost non existent. This was my first and last visit. Trust me, avoid this place and drive down the street to Hop Sing.

The hot & sour soup was delightful. Best I’ve had since China light closed. Lots of food and really delicious. We had the family B dinner. Wozer tons of food and it just kept coming. Staff was short handed so we jumped in and help our selves with napkins and water. A altogether nice experience.

Service was fast and efficient. As others have stated, hot and sour soup can be passed! Food is average but nothing spectacular. I will look for other option next time.

After a day of wine tasting with my girlfriend, we wanted to get some Chinese food. I know what you’re thinking, go to Napa and eat Chinese food? Yeah, I know, but we ate at Bouchon earlier, and I was missing my daily serving of rice! So, come to find out Chinese restaurants are a rare breed in Napa, there were no «upscale» Chinese restaurants there that we could find, but there were a couple of hole in the wall places, this one was stumbled onto by accident when we were cruising around. The décor was old and dirty. The lamps on the wall seemed like they haven’t been cleaned in at least 20 years. We ordered one of the dinner for twos and selected broccoli beef and pork egg foo young as our entrees, it was bad. no flavor, unless you consider salty a flavor. The broccoli was at least crisp. The egg foo young was horrible, the egg was way overcooked and the pork was rubbery. The total bill came in over 33 bucks, which is very very overpriced, it’s not even on par with Panda Express quality and cost twice as much. Also, as an aside… the two ladies that worked there were talking trash about a little boy belonging to a couple that was dining there. They were talking about how mean he was and how he was ignoring her when she tried to talk to him. They thought they were being discreet and could enjoy the secrecy of speaking in Chinese… they obviously didn’t think I was Chinese or could speak/understand it; but I could. My girlfriend thought it would be funny if I shoked them by asking for our food to be boxed up in Chinese, I gladly obliged, it was entertaining and added some fun to an otherwise disappointing dining experience. I suggest avoiding this place, not worth the money at all.
