I heard about the Napa Chef’s Market through the grapevine and decided to check it out as I’m always looking for a reason to escape the SF «summer»(winter?) weather. There were quite a few options for wine but decided to go with Quintessential. Although not on the menu, one of the nice gentleman behind the counter suggested a «Tincho». This was a REAL treat. Bubbly, cold, refreshing, sweet(but not TOO sweet), and just all around a PERFECT summer refreshment. 2 thumbs up for the service(thanks for the recommendation, guys!), the wines, and the prices. Definitely worth visiting this booth while at the market!

I had a hard time picking my stars for this review because some of the wines were sooo good and kinda made me sad. Quintessential Wines had a stall the the local Chef’s Market and I decided to give them a try. The two guys working were very nice, and clearly knew their product. Just as my husband I walked up so did another couple and three ladies, but they managed to serve us all, answer all our questions and not leave you feeling like you needed to get their attention. Huge bonus for the amazing customer service. We tried a few of the Two Angels wines: the Petite Sirah, the Sauvignon Blanc, and the Cabernet. I love the Petite Sirah, it was just right. the Sauvignon Blanc was also great, in fact my husband got a glass and he normally never drinks white wine So that should tell you something right? And then there was the Cab, my favorite type of wine… it was just… I dunno maybe it just needed to breath more but it was pretty mediocre. But their other wines were so impressive I will probably give the Cab one more try. Overall my husband and I felt quite pleased that we decided to try this stall over all the others at the market.
