Running just about parallel to Highway 29, Silverado Trail is another great way to commute up and down Napa Valley. No traffic or stoplights to worry about, and it pretty much is just vineyards and wineries the whole way through from all the way up in Calistoga, all the way down to Napa. Beautiful breathtaking views and you can also discover the smaller, more independent wineries along this stretch of road who serve up the best of the best in the valley. Be very careful when travelling this road, as it is very popular for cyclists, and throughtout the year like winter, roads get very slick due to «black ice»(yes, I’ve witnessed a few cars hydroplane and drive off down steep hillsides) and just as important, HAVE A DESIGNATEDDRIVERIFYOUGOWINETASTING!!! There have been accidents and fatalities here as well from people using poor judgement getting behind the wheel… ALOHA!!! Unilocal365CHALLENGE-(308/365) «Taking The Scenic Route»
