The tasting room is on a nice hill with nice views and the building itself is impressive. Things were looking up until I went up to the counter, browsed the tasting menu while the server was helping another gentleman next to me. Unfortunately, after helping the other customer, he decided to ignore me and proceeded to chat with another server behind the bar. To think that this place has a connection to Disney makes me wonder where they got their customer service training. I felt invisible, insulted, and ignored. Needless to say, my wife and I left and spent our money on other wineries where we got MUCH better service. Oh and for those that think the view here is breathtaking, you should visit Artesa.

Beautiful view. Wanted to get a bottle and enjoy the view but was told we can’t. Gentlemen at the counter wasn’t friendly either. Considering all positive friendly reviews probably just an off day.

This winery had such breathtaking views. Unfortunately it’s not as personable as other vineyards in the area. We enjoy more of a personal experience where someone shares our experience with particular tastes. We just didn’t get the personal attention most other wineries afford. They have a great Merlot and Cab. Definitely not known for their whites. But this place wouldn’t be a priority on my list if I only had a short time in the Napa area.

What a gorgeous building — with their winding staircase entrance, amazing views inside the bar area and the upstairs level to drink al fresco — absolutely stunning! My favorite part about Silverado is the fact that you can grab a glass for tasting practically on any level! Super convenient! Also loved the little nooks and crannies and how there are multiple stair cases that can lead back to the upper level, with different stair cases hosting different paintings or decorations to stop and look at. Loved the double glass doors that can be opened to get a whiff of the barrel room. And LOVE the huge clean bathroom here as well. Of course what clearly stands out is their wine. Amazing reds — I don’t think I tried one I didn’t like — with all the mini breadsticks to enjoy. That coupled with their spectacular view — how can you not love Silverado?!

Awesome staff, great wines and gorgeous views… What more could you ask for?! It’s a no brainier for when you are in Napa!

A definite must-stop if you’re touring wineries. Sets itself apart from the others with a gondola ride to terraced patios with fantastic vineyard views. It’s a little pricey, but certainly worth the cost for the experience. The self guided tour was informative and broken up with multiple tastings.

Skip the tour — nice but way too long and focused on the intricacies of the property artwork — and go straight to the tasting! The Solo was great but in my opinion a little too expensive($ 100). I LOVED the Rosato and the Geo($ 75), and was so impressed by their premium wines I considered joining their wine club.

Delicious wines, friendly & helpful staff, and a patio with an amazing view. I loved every aspect of this winery. They’ll comp your wine tasting fee if you purchase 4 bottles… so I left the winery with 4 new bottles of wine. The next time I make it out to Napa, Silverado will definitely be back on my list of wineries to stop by.

By far my favorite winery when I visited Napa! Couldn’t leave there without a ton of wine to take back to the east coast. I was obsessed with their merlot specifically. Everyone here was wonderful to talk to and really knowledgeable about their wines. Their views are also fantastic. Coming back to Napa in October this place will definitely be on my list to visit!

One of my favorite wineries we stopped by on our day long napa visit. The vineyard is beautiful outside and inside. The view here is just absolutely gorgeous. Wine is delicious, had to buy their merlot it was so delicious. Bartenders are great at recommending and explaining wines and giving the history behind it. Great time spent at Silverado!

Exceptional view and great wines. The highlight of this place is the amazing view of Yountville that you get from their patio. The winery is up on a hill off a Silverado trail, and so despite going on Labor Day weekend, we had plenty of seating and great service(this winery also closes a little later than others at 5pm, so we made this the last stop of the day and took in the view as we enjoyed our wines). That said, it was still the busiest winery we visited, so reservations are recommended. The wines are good but unfortunately, after having enjoyed three wineries prior, I can’t say anything here really stood out. That said, they were very smooth, and with the unique view that you get, still definitely worth a visit.

Kyle from Clos Du Val recommended that we come here for their fabulous views. And boy, was he right! Set up on a hill, their views were spectacular and the wine was great as well! Ray poured our tastings and we quickly learned that he had lived in Scottsdale a few years back. We love meeting fellow Zonies! He took amazing care of us and even gave us a private tour of their barrel room. What a fun surprise! The best part, when I checked in on Unilocal,we qualified for a *free* beautiful coffee table book displaying fine wineries in the Napa and Sonoma regions. We will be back next time! Thank you for taking such great care of us, Ray!

My husband wanted to go here, and I’m so glad we did. We reserved the library tasting, which I HIGHLY recommend. Our host, Patricia, was exceptional. She took four of us into a private room, where you could see views of the hills surrounding the vineyard. In front of each person were four different wines along with little snacks to pair them with. The vintages were 1989, 1999, 2009, and 2011SOLO. She suggested we take a small sip of each wine, and then try a bit of food and see how they taste differently. All of them were delicious. It was a real treat tasting vintages they no longer sell to the public. Patricia was informative, funny, and had a very relaxed vibe, making us feel at ease as if we were at a dinner party. She also offered us tastings from the regular tasting menu at no additional cost. The vineyard itself is also gorgeous, with beautiful views of the Silverado trail. If you are really into vintage wines, I highly recommend the library tasting.

New favorite!!! This place is great all around! For starters, the view is phenomenal! Absolutely breathtaking! I’ve only tried their premium tasting, but all 5 wines on there were great! And the service has been spectacular too! It’s on the pricier side, but I don’t mind when you have good service and such an amazing view.

Amazing view from the outdoor patio and great service at the tasting bar! The only drawback was they do not sell bottles to drink it on the patio. Would highly recommend this winery!

The views here are remarkable. The wine is good as well!(Yay!) The tasting fees are reasonable, and waived with a purchase of wine. The Sangiovese was the best I’ve ever had.

Silverado Vineyards is nice. By nice, I mean: 1) Perfect for picture taking nice 2) I feel like you could get married here(like at the front) nice 3) Beautiful view of Napa nice 4) Fancy vibe nice Truly, their setup is on point. I loved sitting out at the front, sipping my wine, and just looking at Napa hills. I would recommend this place if you want something pretty. From what I remember, they have different tasting menu options. It isn’t custom. So you have to pick between 2 – 3 options? It’s a little more expensive than other places, but not too much. I don’t remember the wines being amazing. 3 stars = Wine 4 stars = View/experience

The main reason we decided to come here is that we heard that this was owned by the Disney family. Me, being a huge Disney fan decided to give this place a shot. I had been to the Lassester Winery and that one was able to give you a touch of personal magic. This location didn’t quite reach the same heights. It’s a a great location atop a nice little hill with great views. So if wine and views are your thing then this is the place to go. The wines were pretty average and didn’t really make me want to fly or soar or go on any kind of adventure. Not bad, but nothing great. They have a huge staff and they were very friendly, but a huge portion of the estate is cut off only for members. Not much in Disney related things either. Not a bad winery per say, but not magical either. Still, I’d advise going here at least once, but for true Disney lovers, head over to the Lassester winery.

Our friends are big fans of the Stag’s leap area, and we are usually more than happy to tag along. In that line of thinking, we joined them for a day out. The tasting room at Silverado is beautiful and faces out over the valley. The wines are good, and along the same lines as the other cabernets in the same area. If you are a member, there is a really great tasting area outside which has an even better view. Then, they will come around and give you tastings of a variety of the wines. We had some kids with us(as did some of the other patrons), and they were welcomed, particularly in the outside area where they had a little more room to stretch out. This seemed to be reflective of the more laid back atmosphere here compared to some of the adjacent wineries. Anyway, if I were going to have some out of town guests, I’d think about taking them here.
