3.5 stars. We were here for(2) birthday celebrations. The hot stone massage was such an awesome I have to give it a try sometime. I got the deep tissue with Tennesha(probably spelled wrong) who did an awesome job as well. She worked on me and even the issues I was having just perfectly. Service was really on point everywhere at the spa. The only qualm I have is the 20% automatic gratuity added for each and every service. I’m noticing the trend now changing to the gratuity as part of the charge and no longer earned. I’m hoping this is due to cheap ass people. My issue is with the 20% which is exorbitant. I think when it’s automatic, it should be between 15%-18% and no more. When the service is sub par, I give minimum 20%. However in cases like these where it’s part of the fee, it turns me off and I absolutely refuse to add any. I also think that when it’s part of the fee, it should be on their website, so one knows exactly how much they are paying. I’d like to come back and even request the same massage therapist, but I’m so turned off by the auto 20% gratuity, I think I’ll search elsewhere.

I love this spa! We had a couples massage and came early to use the facilities(the private spa was really nice). The staff was super friendly and the massage was very good! I definitely compare this to Solage. We will be returning.

The massage I had by Lisa was by far one of the best of my life! Love coming to this place! Great amenities and the pool is great too! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a spa in Napa!

I’m giving them 5 stars because April was AMAZZZING!!! I’ve been to several spas and let me just say that April has miracle hands… I was so to do a 50 mins treatment since the 90 mins were all booked up but she didn’t miss one spot on my body! The spa facility is pretty nice and clean and offered everything a full spa provide but April was truly the real reason why I would come back. Staff was also very friendly. FYI — the Silverado resort is absolutely beautiful — we stayed at the villas/condo and it was immaculately clean. shiny, up to date with décor and a golfers dream with our view in our backyard!

Once again awesome service! I had the best massage today! I didn’t think I could find another masseuse with strong hands besides Debbie but I received Katie today and she is awesome!!! Hands down one of the best there!!! Ask for Debbie or Katie and you won’t be disappointed and will leave so relaxed!!! The outdoor pool is pretty amazing as well! Thanks Silverado for another wonderful July 3rd and 4th!

Took a girls trip and went to the spa here, I have to say it reminds me of a retirement home, the pool is actually a lap pool not really a pool to relax and swim in, the jets in the jacuzzi in the women’s locker room did not work either. It’s not really a spa I would spend the day at. If you are a younger crowd I definitely would not go here.

Not so satisfied with the lack of customer service. I got 4 confirmations for my package treatment. When I called to cancel they refuse to send me a confirmation of my cancelation. So they have my credit card number and I have 4 confirmations that say if I dont cancel on time or I will be charged $ 50 for each treatment. Now if it was not corectly cancelled I will be charged $ 200 because I dont have proof I cancelled on time. Wil not be returning here. If you can charge me a $ 1000 for a package you should be able to send me a confirmation of my cancellation.

Maybe for golfers the experience at this place is more memorable but… check in and room service spotty– can’t get requests straight, fail to call as promised when room ready, minimal instructions on getting to room and parking and no «wow we feel welcomed» feeling. Plus– smokey room the day after you light a fire– can’t stay in room unless you air out(hard to do when it’s cold outside). The kicker for me was– unless you buy $ 100 or more in spa treatments or a day pass, you can’t even sit around the spa pool or use the jacuzzi. What hotel at over $ 200/night does’t provide you with access to a pool with heated jacuzzi?!

Staying at the Silverado resort and coming to the the spa for the Rejuvenation package was part of my Valentines gift from my Valentine(: he was right on! You come to this spa because it is apart of the resort, one doesn’t go out of there way to come to this spa. I had the 50 minute Silverado massage which was great, nothing special but just right. Then the 50 minute Mimosa scrub. They use all Eminence products which is all I use, so this was great! Last I had the Wine Country facial. By now I was so relaxed I completely dozed off, but before I fell asleep it felt amazing. Again, all Eminence products. The Spa itself is nice. The robes, the lockers, the whirlpool and the attendants were phenom. Great service and I felt really comfortable. They add gratuity onto everything for you, so my total was $ 456.

Been to many spas in Napa/Sonoma, as well as others in Hawaii, etc. so I feel I have a fairly good grasp on expectations. I purchased a lunch/facial/mani/pedi package at this spa, and was sorely disappointed. Not the place for romance/pampering/peace and luxury ATALL. The facilities seem pretty outdated. The rattan furniture was in shabby shape. There was definitely no «ambiance» here. It honestly seemed more like a gym club locker room facility. With lots of chatty regulars around, it wasn’t very relaxing. The facial was lovely, the mani/pedi were just ok, but right in the middle of a hair salon where the staff was SUPER chatty. I usually like to relax and zone out during services, and as nice as they are, there’s a lot of constant questions. When it came to the lunch, there was no sign of where to go. Upon asking the front desk, I was told to go ask for my lunch at the smoothie bar by the fitness room(?). I went and asked(it was after 12 noon), and was told the lunches weren’t ready yet, and had to choose from one of only a couple of options, so I chose a cobb salad I believe. I asked if they had champagne or minosas, and was told no… they only have THOSE at the main hotel building across the highway! Asked if I could wait by the pool, and the girl agreed to bring my lunch out to me. About a half hour or so later, shebrought me a plastic take out container and plastic utensils with what amounted to a fast food chain salad inside. I had to go back in to purchase a can of sparkling water, there’s no beverage service. There was a water aerobics class being taught for seniors in the entire pool, so couldn’t enjoy that either. Apparently the place us really focused on the club members, and not outsider friendly. I would not go back here, sadly. For THAT kind of money, you can get four star treatment, peace and quiet, and pampering at many other resorts/spas within a few miles of Silverado.

This review is long overdue. I took my cousin here for a girls spa day. It was FABULOUS. We felt so very pampered and relaxed, we spent about 6 hours there. We had a massage, a facial, and a scrub. We also went swimming, hung out in the jacuzzi, and enjoyed the steam room. The staff was welcoming, and every part of the grounds were clean. I loved every minute of being there. We are planning to take our mothers here for Mother’s Day. LOVE this place!

As Unilocal states in its ratings: Meh. I’ve experienced better. This rating is limited to the massage and spa experience, which did not match the price tag. I typically do not splurge, but given the special weekend occasion, I was willing to dish out some extra money, expecting an exceptional spa service. At best, it was a less than average massage, $ 130 + automatic 20% gratiuity, totaling = $ 150. That is a lot of money for disappointing service. Given this one time experience, I would not return, nor recommend it. [The following weekend, I received top-notch massage service at a day spa in SF for $ 85. Better service, lower price] Tip: The spa closes immediately after the last service of the day, so do not expect to lounge or utilize the sauna and hot tub afterward. However, we did receive fantastic, friendly welcome from their staff, as well as GREAT customer service in response to my concerns about the experience. Pending revision review.

Update 6÷26÷2012 — Downgraded to 1 star for a double charge. I just checked my credit card statement online, and the people at the front desk are a bit retarded. I originally charged $ 222($ 85 up do + $ 70 mineral makeup + $ 30 eyelash extensions + automatic 20% tip) to my credit card prior to the services. Then I was told that we could get a 10% discount for staying at the resort, but I would have to get that done as a separate transaction. Instead of refunding the difference to my card, they charged my card again! So now I have 2 ~$ 200 charges on my credit card! I called the spa, and after some discussion between the two front desk staffers, all of which I heard, it was concluded that they could not just refund the difference, and therefore had to cancel the first charge and charge my credit card again. It would have been nice if they had told me this! Unprofessional, to say the least. They said the first charge should disappear or be refunded to my credit card by the end of the week… We’ll see about that. Well, I won’t be returning for their overpriced packages or confusing billing. 6÷25÷2012 — 3 stars Meh, I think I’ve been spoiled by spas forever. My first experience was at the Spa Grande at the Grand Wailea Hotel in Maui, so now I think every other spa pales in comparison. This one is nice too. There are lots of soothing fountains and pastel colors that are pleasing to the eye. The music is unobtrusively calm and tinkly. I liked the robes that they provided: super plush. The spa shares the space with a gift shop, the resort gym, a small coffee bar, and the salon. They had the ubiquitous spa water as well as complimentary apples, pears, and dried cranberries, cherries, and almonds to munch on. The facilities aren’t huge, but they are sufficient. I enjoyed lounging around the private pool and using the sauna and steam room. I also had my hair, makeup, and eyelashes done here for a wedding. Their prices are a bit steep, but I was pleased with the up-do. Their stylists are very good. The makeup left me wanting. While they do use the finest mineral makeup, they don’t have airbrushing available. Also, I was surprised that I couldn’t get an appointment time closer to the wedding itself. I had an 8am appointment for a 4pm wedding. I knew that my face was going to melt off before then. My makeup lady didn’t really seem to know what to do with my Asian complexion, and she also neglected to blend the color onto my neck as well. I ended up having to do a lot of blotting and touching up. She also SUCKED at putting on the lash extensions. I had a ton of clumps of glue on my lids and they obstructed my vision. The glue was also visibly present. Not worth the $ 30.

Don’t waste your money. VERY expensive treatments, unskilled staff. It’s a mill… get ‘em in, get ‘em out. There’s no «spa» ambiance in any of the space… it’s old and not luxurious at all. If you’re going to spend spa money, go somewhere else!
