Agatha has moved to a new location, it is in the mall with Jewel on Washington and Ogden. It is smaller and parking is a bit of a hassle, as is backing out because drivers are nuts. That being said, service and workmanship are still outstanding. It is important to trust someone who knows what they are doing. I highly recommend them! The owner helps you narrow down your vision for your artwork. She never rushes you and gives great advice. She’ll even help you save money by suggesting less costly alternatives. I get so many compliments, and the framing really elevates the picture!
The price is reasonable for personalized framing. I have multiple pictures, maps and diplomas framed in other states/​places and here. They are comparable.

I usually don’t hang art on my wall, so I don’t typically need an expensive frame for my non-​existent artwork.
But, I just graduated dental school, and I needed to frame my oh-​so-​hard-​earned diploma so that I could hang it in my dad’s dental office.
I took a picture of my dad’s frame and asked the staff to do their best to match his. They lamented that his frame was done 30 years ago, and that his exact frame was not available anymore, but they VERY closely matched the color and size of the frame.
It looks AMAZING next to my dad’s, and I’m proud to hang it in the office :).
It did take a few weeks to be completed, so please be patient because it’s worth it!

Don’t waste your time at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. If you have art that is worth framing, you need to come to see Agatha. My wife and I have been coming here for more than a decade to get our fine art framed properly.
They have a very extensive inventory of frames, and will do everything from stretched canvas to posters. They also have a nice collection of Chicago posters and prints. The new location is right next to Jewel on Ogden, so it is super convenient. Well done.

I initially used Art & Frame in 2007 to frame my degree along with my black and white commencement photo. Prior to placing my order, I had absolutely no idea as to how I wanted the finished product to look. Agatha was so personable and took her time in illustrating several of her artistic visions as to how the finished product could look — it was as if she were designing the piece for herself. My order was ready in about two weeks and I must admit the finished product was even better than I’d expected.
I recently received my CPA certificate and had no doubt that Art & Frame would be able to create a piece that would illustrate how much this accomplishment meant to me. Agatha, true to form, illustrated several of her artistic visions. She and I went through several attempts at «trial and error». I ended up taking a chance on a frame Agatha showed me that wasn’t in stock but was in a catalog — the design just felt right. When I picked up my finished piece two weeks later, I couldn’t believe my eyes — it was so beautiful, I almost cried. It was worth every penny — job well done!

Just had two of my favorite art pieces framed here and they did an expert job. One piece is a handpainted textile from India and the other is a watercolor portrait done by my favorite college art professor. Agatha and her highly competent assistant helped me with my frame selections and their craftsmanship on the finished works is fabulous. I love how the pieces turned out and how they look in my home. If you’re looking for a quality frame shop with great customer service, come here!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this store. Agata helped up from beginning to end with the framing process for an original and an enlarged print of the original. With her help (and with consideration of the vast array of framing options available), we were able to pick excellent frames. The painting and print were done in two short weeks and just looked absolutely fabulous. We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to use this store. Agata is also great– her advice and expertise are unmatched. We will be back!!!
