Last time I was here, almost a year ago, I think this place was going through some changes. Instead of being a retail shop, the Endure It location on Washington Street is now a fit studio, open by appointment only. After having recently started biking long distances and suffering some knee pain, somebody recommended having my bike fitted and going to Endure It. I gotta say, I’m really impressed. I ride a hybrid, so I’m not a spandex clad road warrior or anything, but Erik, the manager, still took the time to adjust my saddle and let me bend his ear for a while asking a bunch of n00b questions about cycling. So I highly recommend giving a call or sending an e-mail if you’re in need of a tune-up, bike fit, etc. It’s refreshingly nice to be taken just as seriously as a hardcore cyclist, even though I’m more of a recreational rider.

Wide variety for fall/winter sweaters. Not a lot of sizes in each. They have many more tops than bottoms– I don’t think I saw any jeans.(try Twist –across the street –for denim!) The staff was helpful– although I don’t like when they put«things I may like» into the changing room… Endure It claims to be a «sports wear store», but there really aren’t workout clothes here.(At least not the typical brands– Under Armor, North Face, etc.) The clothing is more«active wear» or yoga clothing. They did, however, have a huge selection of lounge clothing which looked SO inviting. Nice variety of men’s clothing-good place for gift shopping. *Large variety of Mountain Hardwear and Patagonia. Conclusion: Endure It can be a hit-or-miss. I wouldn’t deal with finding a parking spot in downtown Naperville just to visit this store. I do suggest those who are wandering around Naperville should stop in and check it out.

Walked in because of the bikes and the cool Penguin shirt in the window. My 19 year old son and I both found many options, most on them were on sale. Very unique brands and helpful staff. We will be back!

What a snobby place. My wife and I went in to do some shopping this weekend. We stopped in as this place was recommended by another shop owner in the area. What a mistake. The staff was so rude. We never received a hello or can I help you. Apparently the staff was more interested in chatting with girlfriends then helping a potential customer. Seems as if when other locals came in they got helped but we were just scum in the store. News flash Endure it! Life. I wont endure it. I’ll just go to the internet and buy the same clothes at a better price. And Ill make sure all my friends in the area are up to speed as well.

My bro and I wandered in here after lunch at Noodles & Co.(see my review) because I glimpsed Reef sandles on sale in the window for 50% off. Lucky for me, I could buy these and actually wear them this year, whereas the denizens of Naperville and Chicago are dusting off their winter boots right now. The service is excellent and they carry great sports wear items for both men and women. I got a Crown Jewel partial pashmina cotton hoodie and my bro was pleased to find out that they sell Penguin items. Aforementioned, they sell Reef sandles, and they also sell these cool patterned head bands that have non-slip velvet on the inside. Their regular-priced clothing items can be a little pricey, but they had a great selection of sales items, and the accessories are reasonably priced.

Located in the old Chocolate Key, this is a small store specializing in that genre of clothing known as Active Wear or Sports Wear — not your average sweatpants, or spandex here. I personally have been in the shop several times and was more impressed with their parent company information on Endure It sports training — who knew Naperville had an elite training complex for people wishing to better their times swimming, biking and in triathalons? The clothing was a bit too pricey for my taste considering I owned a business around the block and has access to some similiar clothing lines — what impressed me most were the vintage/retro inspired bikes they have set up in the window. They are what brought me in, I wasn’t sure when they orignally opened if these were display or for sale, they are for sale and there are many different styles to choose from, again the one I wanted was about $ 525 if I remember correctly(but these are not geared towards someone who would be buying an $ 80 Huffy at the grocery store). They also carry a small selection of shoes, watches, in the winter scarves/gloves/hats, I wish I could remember all of the brand names they carry, but I can’t.
