Five Below

Nice clean store. Everything is under $ 5 just as the name suggests. To me its a glorified dollar store, but its great for small gifts, Easter baskets, stocking stuffers, birthday goody bags, etc. Only problem I have is they are usually out of stock on whatever they advertise and the sales staff are not very knowledgeable on what they have or don’t have.

So I have come here with increasing frequency over the last few years, and it’s grown on me. I do love that you know off the bat that everything is going to be $ 5 or less, and the quality for those prices is actually pretty great.
There is a lot of stuff here that is fun for gifts or «stocking stuffer» type things. I’ve bought things like stickers, magnets, candy, lip balm, socks… for others and me! There’s a variety of toys and games (I bought a Star Wars trivia set and promptly went home and kicked my bf’s ass at it). You’ll find a good range of holiday and seasonal things and party supplies, and I like buying greeting cards here because they are affordable (in a world where $ 6+ is becoming the norm in stationary stores!!) and yet fun.
I can see teens swiftly blowing their allowance here on all the tempting goodies. Not nearly as practical as Dollar Tree etc., but there are definitely useful items mixed in with all the fun stuff.

This store is very impressive! I find a lot of useful stuff in here all the time and for five dollars or below so you can’t beat it! I love to go here for little things! And the good news is that if you buy something you don’t quite enjoy, you can rest knowing that it was inexpensive! But most of the stuff here are very useful and of decent quality! This store is definitely a hit! I love it!

I especially LOVE that they have such a wide variety of candy! I was also able to find PLENTY of stocking stuffers for Christmas here, and the best part is that they were all under $ 5! I know plenty of folks who just will not step foot into this business because everything is «cheap»…do they mean cheaply made??? — Well, sorry to disappoint folks — you can purchase many of the same or same quality item here for less than you can at other retailers — Target, Toys R Us, Walgreens, Staples, etc… etc…This is also a good place to go if you want to be creative and purchase «throw-​away» clothing for costumes, holidays, etc.

This was my second visit to Five Below; I needed some gift wrap for my friend’s baby shower gift and I didn’t feel like hitting up the dollar store for a second day in a row.
Everything in the store is $ 5 or below (hence the name). You can find anything from Holiday décor, skateboards, posters, shot glasses, books, etc…
I managed to snag a book on the Beatles for $ 5… awesome! It was going to be a Christmas present for my father, but being an avid Beatles fan myself, I might just keep it and go grab another for the gift. I was also intrigued by all the different books on cuisine (Mexican, Indian, Stir-​Fry, etc). I’m not one to use cook books, but they’d make a fun gift paired with some cooking utinsels and some mixing bowls and the like.
They have super soft microfleece pj pants, but unfortunately, they aren’t long enough. Now, I’m only 5’4, so I’m clearly vertically challenged, but these pants were still floods on me. Boo, because I love microfleece sleeping pants. Oh well.
They also have accessories for your cell phone, Kindles, etc… I didn’t look too closely, as I have an Otterbox for my Samsung Galaxy already, but they had a decent selection of stuff.
The employees are friendly, and the store is clean. I’m surprised that everytime I go there it’s pretty empty. It’s a great store, so I hope it lasts.

Love this store! Great buys! Grand Opening this weekend! I love this store for little gadgets for my iPhone. Things like chargers, cases, Bluetooth, adapter all for $ 5 each. Can’t beat, they also come a variety of colors. Tons of cool items for other activities as well, all $ 5 and below!
