My husband dropped of some shirts at Russell’s, but we did not pick them up within 30 days so the store got rid of the shirts. I understand it was our responsibility to pick them up in a timely manner, but if the 30 days are up, and we’ve left our phone number, a courtesy reminder call would have been nice. Otherwise, what is the point of getting the customers phone number? We won’t be back.

I seriously miss this dry cleaner! I used to live near Naperville and never once worried about my dry cleaning at Russell’s. I have a very formal taste in suits. I have a few custom pieces that require special attention to detail when laundered.
My biggest requirement is a beautiful roll to the belly of the lapels when pressed.
Russell’s not only knew what I was talking about when I mentioned a roll to the lapel, they informed me that it was standard procedure for them. Every time I picked up my suits they were flawless.
If you’re looking for a quality dry cleaning job, you can count of Russell’s. They are pricey for the area, however, you can always count on the job being done the first time.

I want to liek Russell’s SOO bad! It’s family owned and operated, his grand kids come and help him in the summer, the staff is extremely friendly, and the location is good. But unfortunately, the attention to detail is lacking. Typically of 5 or so dress shirts I take to them 1 will have an odd wrinkle or crease pressed in it. I have uploaded some pics to explain. But it’s usually very obvious, like right on the back of the collar or right smack in the middle of the sleeve. Once pressed in it’s not something you can just shake out, it has to be ironed out or you just wear it like so. Guess the search continues. Wife and I will be trying the one that’s in the old 5th Ave Station building next to the Metra.

The employees in there are very friendly. Small business feel. Great for local customers who like friendly service.
