I had a comforter for 1 month which is needs to be washed, I looked online for places that do this services, I found the Naperville cleaner, it’s 20 min from my house, but it worth the drive, the guy told me $ 19 for the comforter to be washed. Which I think it’s the best price for a big comforter, and also the guy mentioned that they do free pick up and delivery. I hope this business get succeeded.

My husband & I are new to area and the convenient location & low prices brought us in. The owner has always been pleasant in dealing with both of us. He seems friendly & recognizes when either of us comes in alone. That is all I can say positive about this business. The cleaning is terrible. I’ve finally after a year decided its time to find a new dry cleaner. I’d take arm loads of clothes for cleaning each visit. It never fails that several items of clothing are returned(pressed on hangers) with the SAME stains as if they weren’t cleaned at all. It could be months before I realize it; just when I’m about to wear it for the day! Twice I asked my husband to take the items back; NaperValue re-cleaned the item at no additional cost, but it’s getting to be too many uncleaned, shrunken, broken straps and crushed buttons to deal with!(My husband feels his sweaters are shrunk, he thinks they wash clothes instead of true dry cleaning and they never crease his pants). Unfortunately, you get sucked in by low advertised prices, the discount 2nd Saturday of the month and your clothes suffer in the process. I’ll pay more for quality service of my items.

I just moved not too far from here and needed a new dry cleaner, so my girlfriend and I decided to try this place. Let me tell u these people will not be them. My first time there I thought it was alright except for the smell of piss blindsiding u as u walk in. Like most of the other reviews they had shrunk my items a bit as well. None the less tho the product was fine with the cost. Like anything else in America u get what u pay for. Today I went there to pick up a couple items, only to receive one of the two. Mind u it’s four days after the day I was suppose to pick it up. And it’s still not done?! I told the dumbass behind the counter this and he just shrugged and said come in after 5 to pick up the other item. Wait… What? No apology, no refund, not even an explanation. Unfortunately I had read reviews after this incident or else I would have never wasted my time going to this pathetic establishment. Do yourself a favor and listen to the public opinion of this place. If we all took the time to write poor reviews, wouldn’t u think the place lacks in customer service and quality. If anyone finds a cleaners around this area lemme know. Until then I’m taking my business elsewhere.

DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE — there is no value when you are not charged advertised prices. Today, I brought in 14 items. 3 were men’s shirts at $ 1.25 each, 11 were dry cleaning items at $ 2.50 each. The weird old guy who wears black socks with his shorts totalled that up to $ 39. When I questioned him, he said one of the shirts was«fancy». I’m not sure if he meant the tank top that had plastic beads? Anyway, this is the 3rd time he has tried to charge me the dry cleaning rate for everything in my bag plus some made up extras. Normally, I argue my point at pick up and someone refunds my money. This place had 2 things going for it: a drive thru and low prices. However, a complete lack of integrity is inexcusable. I have been a customer for 12 years(the previous owner was awesome). In addition to attempted rip offs(who knows how many times I was overcharged and didn’t notice), I have had other problems. The buttons on a jacket were ruined. I pointed this out and was met with a shrug. Perhaps Nordstrom sold me faulty buttons? I let it go. Further, on more than one occasion, I have had to visit their lost and found rack to retrieve items that weren’t returned. I did get them back so no big deal. However, lying to me about the price THREETIMES was the final straw. Oh, and the black socks in summer HAVETOGO! P. S. I wish zero stars was an option.

The worst. Attempted to charge me twice. Their policy is to pay in advance at drop off, which I did $ 13(1 shawl, 1 sweater, 1 pea coat). Owner/manager quickly changed story that I owed for mending(which I did ask for and assumed I had paid for…2 buttons reattached, for which I received 2 tickets — assuming one for cleaning and one mending) $ 12 seems crazy for a such a simple service on a basic black pea coat with basic 4-hole buttons. He scurried inside and reappeared with $ 3 saying the mending now cost $ 9. I, unfortunately, had given him my debit card and he ran it for $ 12. I asked him to keep cash and refund my card $ 12…claimed he didn’t know how. Next he asked me if I wanted my garments… seriously? He then sort of threw them into my back seat claiming he couldn’t find the hook. I promptly went to my bank to dispute original transaction(1.18.12), which had posted. A small victory to a really shady transaction. Save yourself… DONOTUSENAPERVALUECLEANERS.

I had previously used this place a while ago and liked their service but I think they’ve changed ownership many times since. I brought a coat for alterations and cleaning. They called me on the alterations because the lady who does them wasn’t there on the day I dropped it off. She first told me $ 15 dollars, then called back and told me $ 25. When I got there I was charged $ 30. I told them what I was quoted but they insisted on $ 30. I also showed them the dirt that was still on the coat. One side was clean but the other wasn’t and the inside had lint that wasn’t there before all over. The lady up front offered to clean it again at a higher price. I decided not to go for that offer. My recommendation… what used to be good is horrible now. Stay away.

NEVERCLEANANYTHINGHERE. I’ve been going to Naper Value Cleaners for years and they have done a good job. I was married on June 4th and afterwards decided to have my wedding dress simply cleaned(not preserved). The dress is extremely simple — no beads or lace, just some structured pleats at the top). Sam, the owner, accepted the work and gave me a pick up date 1 week later. When I picked it up, the whole top part of it was flopped over, the part that used to be structured. Sam said they would repair it and I decided to give them the chance to make the situation right. Bad choice. Another week later I picked up the dress and it was 10x worse. They had completely ruined the dress(I have since had this certified and filed my complaints). Sam said I didn’t pay him to keep the dress structured, just to clean it and that it was the manufacturers fault(a couture designer? Unlikely). Ridiculous — that’s like saying I took my car to get washed and the porter drove it through the wash, crashed it into the wall, brought it out the other side clean but ruined and told me to take it back to Toyota. I gave Sam the opportunity to reimburse me for the dress and he said it was not his problem and that he didn’t ruin it. I wouldn’t write such a bad review if Sam would have made an attempt to take responsibility for his mistake — a responsible and reasonable business owner would do that. This company might be convenient and less expensive, but you get what you pay for. I just wish I didn’t make the mistake of letting them touch my wedding dress.

Let me start by saying this is a pre-pay place when you drop off – no other way. I just returned from what will be my last visit to NaperValue to retrieve shirts that they had lost(they finally admitted they sometimes don’t tag all the items coming in) and after searching for — were then held until I PAIDFORTHEMAGAIN. I had not one but two employees(I believe owners) yelling at me that they were dropped off as COD, which is ludicrous as they don’t even accept COD items! No, I didn’t have the tag for these items either as they should have been returned in previously picked up orders that upon home inspection were missing. Thus my return visit tonight to try to retrieve. To top off this most unpleasant customer experience, which became a shouting match, there were 2 owner relatives or friends standing side by side with the angry owners, pointing at me, laughing. What Naper Value clearly doesn’t get is that there are about 30 other dry cleaners in Naperville within a 3 mile radius. I don’t think I have ever had such a bad customer service experience. I am only embarrassed to say that this is not the first time they have lost items and my husband or I have had to go back to retrieve the MIA laundry. WHY we have gone back I do not know. Probably past allegiance to the former owner who was wonderful. My advice… pick another dry cleaner unless you like being yelled at, laughed at and berated for their own mistakes. And lest I forget, paying for your items twice –kind of like having your clothing held ransom.

Andrew’s review is pretty spot on. They are low cost, but have had a variety of problems: 1.) colors bled on my zippy 2.) bad sewing for my wife’s sweater 3.) Clothes shrinking(and no, we’re not gaining weight) It’s a good place to drop off standard items, but we’re going to stop taking our nicer items here and try somewhere else.

If you value your clothes at all, do not take them to this business. This business lost my suit coat of my only suit right before I went on vacation. I needed this suit on vacation, and it was not available for pickup on pickup day. I told them that they needed to look for it, and they insisted that I had left a pair of pants and not a suitcoat. I protested that it was a suitcoat, and they resisted and said it was not. As I continued to press them to find it, the guy had the nerve to tell me that my suitpants were not suitpants and that it could not be a suitcoat that I left them. I told them that they needed to find it, but they left me with no assurance that they could help me. I had to leave on vacation without the coat. A few days later they called my home phone saying that they had found the coat and to come pick it up. I told them to send the garment to me since I was on vacation. They refused to send it to me even though it was their mistake that they lost it. I will never use this business again.

This place is convenient, but I wouldn’t take my most treasured items, or that favorite pair of pants, to this place. It’s pretty cheap, pretty fast, and they have a drive up window, which I think is their main draw. But… they have a tendency to break buttons on my shirts(Which, I know, is inevitable with pressing… but so many… so fast? And no attempt to use the spares supplied with the shirt… if they do notice the broken button, they’ll just sew a random button on it it’s place. Wrong size? Wrong color? Whatever.) and they may be stretching pants a bit tight — corners of pockets are starting to show wear that they shouldn’t have given what they’ve been subjected to. I did have them tear both side pockets loose at the top stitch on one pair of pants… annoying, but they did do a decent job of repairing them. It just didn’t last too long. The other thing is that I swear my pants come back with one leg creased better than the other. Can you tell I’m particular about this stuff? So, yeah. Convenient, and cheap… but don’t drop off those Zanellas, and pay more to have someone else clean designer dresses. And iron your favorite shirt yourself.
