Wendy’s

It was so weird… I was sitting in the drive through reading Unilocal reviews about this place and everything that was said happened! Fries were cold, wilted salad, and no receipt. We asked to guy for the receipt (I was just curious what he would say) and they said they don’t give receipts! What?

Have you ever wondered where the old, stale food goes? It goes in the Happy Meals at this Wendy’s! This location rarely gets an order right and always serves cold, stale happy meals, kids don’t want to eat dry, stale food.

This is by far the WORST I repeat WORST Wendy’s I have ever been to. Every time I have gone there, they have messed up my order. They also NEVER give you a receipt. Earlier today my friend and I went there to get some dinner, I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with just mayo and American cheese. What I got was a spicy chicken sandwich with everything (mayo, lettuce and tomato, which I’m allergic to) on it. Of course I didn’t check it before we left, so it was quite a shock when I opened it at home to see no cheese (which I paid extra for… don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying for cheese IF I actually get it!) my friend who ordered a baconator (with everything on it) had only mayo on hers. As someone who has worked as a cook in a food establishment before I find this extremely disappointing. I also know it was the cook who messed it up because the very nice man taking our order (who clearly didn’t have English as his first language) had the order correct on the screen. He is the only good thing about this location, I wish I knew his name so I could give him a shout out!!!

I’ve been trying to eat better. I forgot to take my lunch to work yesterday so when a coworker asked if I wanted anything from Wendys, I resisted anything fried and got a side salad. Needless to say, I stayed hungry as the lettuce was red and wilted with some brown spots. Completely inedible. I should have just gotten fries.

I’m a sucker for gadgets, and I’m a sucker for flavored soda. This place has a doohicky that combines both of those obsessions, and as a result, it is the only fast food restaurant that I’ve ever recommended to people (aside from the Rock n’ Roll McDonalds, when I was in grade school, and before they tore it down). The restaurant itself is your average Wendy’s, which is pretty good. But the reason to come to THIS Wendy’s is the new Coke machine they’ve got here. You start with your base drink (coke, sprite, barq’s, fanta, water, etc) then choose the regular, diet, or zero option, then add a flavor. I’m in heaven. Orange Fanta Zero? Yep. Cherry Coke Zero? Yep. Vanilla Barq’s? Oh yeah.
Even if you’re not hungry, stop by just to marvel at this wonder of modern drink science.

Just had a chicken sandwich combo and a nugget combo which was for my wife. The bun on my sandwich was so stale you could tap on it and hear an audible thunk sound. The fries tasted like a piece of 100 year old shoe leather. The «sprite» I ordered was a brown mixture of which I cannot tell you what flavor. I ended up throwing out my drink and fries. My wife’s meal, minus her fries, was fine although I wouldn’t call the white ground up substance in the nuggets meat. I called up the restaurant to let them know that I had a substandard meal. The «manager» hardly spoke English, I hung up out of frustration. Scratch one more fast food place off the list.

The place was spotless and the employees were great. The spicy chicken was awsome. The New fries on the other hand were not nearly as good as the outgoing tots. I don’t know what brought on the change. But if it ain’t broke!

I work about 3 minutes from this Wendy’s and they are the fastest Wendy’s I have ever been too. They seriously have your meal ready before you even get to the window. Seriously, I was there a couple days ago and as I started leaving the first drive thru window, the lady’s arm was already out of the second drive thru window. That’s fast food for you :)

I agree this place is superb in there service. And I’m always surprised at how hot and fresh the food is. Whenever me and the lady hit chicago we stop here before getting on the toll road. I too have been slow in getting thru. I was laffing at the last review but completely agree. Its almost a shame some others dont have the same service i mean just getting the order right is fair but christ sakes you seem to know when I’ll be coming thru.

This is, by far, the most awesomest Wendy’s EVER.
In fact, it might be the best fast food joint EVER.
It’s definitely, by far, the best and FASTEST drive-​thru EVER. Seriously.
When you drive through the drive-​thru, you place your order. Check. You roll up to the window. Check. You pay. Check. They smile and wish you a nice day. You drive on to the next window and… What’s this? My food is ready already? What the hell??? It can’t be my order. You check in the bag. It’s your order. Everything’s right. It’s hot. It smells good.

Seriously, one time I rolled up to the second window and the guy already had my bag sticking half out the window. As if my food was waiting impatiently for me to arrive there at that second window.
This drive-​thru is so fast, it makes ME feel slow in comparison. I always feel like I should be apologizing for taking 30 seconds to get my money out… or put the change away.
It’s like a drive-​thru that you literally can DRIVE THROUGH.
Fascinating.
