Omg what a gem. We had the early bird dinner.19.99 for a glass of wine Aptz and dinner entrée… everything was delightful… this was our first time, but it will not be our last… fresh pasta tossed in a mushroom sauce and scallops perfectly cooked. The mussels smelled wonderful .with a lite tomato sauce and served with crisp garlic toast .I have the beet salad with shrimp with a drizzle of reduced balsamic .make reservations NOW!!! Loved it

Valentine’s Night dinner, service was unorganized. Lamb with Marsala reduction was phenomenal. Spinach and ricotta ravioli was a big disappointment. Crème Brûlée was a HUGE disappointment… it appeared to be caramelized ahead of time then refrigerated. Very very bland too, they may have forgotten the sugar!

We are visiting Naples for the weekend and decided to try Alberto’s on 5th. We were not disappointed — everyone was friendly and very professional. Our waitress, Irina, was fantastic. The food was amazing — I had the risotto with grilled shrimp and calamari(the house favorite, I was told), and my husband had the Chilean sea bass with wild mushrooms and polenta. For dessert, my husband has the ice cream sampler — he said it was the best ice cream he ever tasted. I had the warm chocolate cake with ice cream — to die for! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Naples!

A wonderful evening at a classy restaurant in a beautiful area filled with many choices of delicious food made for a superb dining experience. We were greeted with a smile by the hostess and constantly checked on by other waitstaff and the manager. We were fortunate enough to dine during the early portion of the evening and enjoyed the early dinner menu which consisted of numerous choices for each of the two courses. The RoastedRed Beet Salad marinated with fresh Florida Orange and Sautéed Shrimp was particularly impressive along with the FreshOrganic Arugula Salad with Shaved Parmesan Cheese, red onion and Limoncello emulsion. From the entrée choices, our group was thrilled with the homemade wide riibbon pasta tossed with Bolognese style Veal Ragout, the ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese in a mascarpone and parmesan cream, and the organic chicken breast served with wild mushrooms and Marsala wine. And, with the early bird special came a glass of wine! After a walk in the area, it was time to return for a dessert party! Each sweet choice was as spectacular as the other but the Lemon Gelato swirled together with Limoncello was particularly noteworthy and refreshing. Don’t miss Alberto’s on Fifth as it is a great experience.

I have enjoyed every meal here, the raviolini with black truffle is my favorite. All pastas are homemade, and you can taste the difference.

We made a reservation for 8 at 6pm. There was no way we were going to get a table before 7pm and we had 2 small children with us. The manager was very unhelpful and blamed his poor management on the weather. Needs a better manager. We left and had a lovely dinner down the street at Café Luna.

A wonderful dining experience on 5th Ave. in Naples! From start to finish, it was truly a 5-star experience. We had a table for 8 people. We were warmly greeted by the hostess, and then once again warmly greeted by our server Elizabeth. The service was impeccable. Great descriptions of the specials and an excellent wine selection. Alberto’s features all homemade pastas! They were sublime. After a wonderful arugula salad with shaved Parmesan, many of us at the table settled on the assortment of homemade pastas. My veal ravioli with mushrooms, my wife’s tortellini in light pink sauce topped with a lobster tail, my daughter’s black ink tagliatelle with calamari all stood out. I don’t know which was better! Plus, Alberto’s offered great specials of lamb, Bronzino, and more! Great desserts too and perfect service! Bravo Alberto’s!!! I hope this place has staying power!!!

Without a doubt this is my favorite restaurant on 5th Avenue! Alberto continues to tantalize the tastebuds with his Agnolotti and for dessert, the Tiramisu is out of this world! Service was impeccable! One last mention for those in the neighborhood … They are open for lunch. Unilocal days closed however because we are frequent visitors to Naples, we knew they were open. Dining al Fresca on a beautiful Saturday December afternoon is the way to go!

Rack of lamb was terrible and wayyyy overpriced. Three small lollipops about ½″ thick sliced and grilled individually not served as a rack. The lamb was ordered medium rare but served well done. Not very flavorful. The two table spoons of mashed were good. Quality is always preferred over quantity but 40.00 for this dish was a ripoff. The service on the other hand was very good. My dates ravioli were just OK.

This was one of our favorite spots during our recent visit to Naples. We had a reservation for an outside table and were able to enjoy the live music from Aqua next door during our meal. Our server(Elisabetta?) was spot on, professional yet friendly. The bread we started with was delicious. We were hungry so we shared two appetizers, a proscuitto and pecorino app and a Burrata with roasted peppers app, both delicious. I had the homemade ravioli with butternut squash, homemade sausage and a creamy amaretto sauce — delicious! My husband had snapper(I believe) with a creamy lobster sauce, which was also cooked perfectly and delicious. Both of our dishes were exceptional. No room for dessert. Loved this place. The indoor space looks nice, reserve one of those highbacked white booths!

Pros: Delicious, authentic, homemade Italian Cons: speed of service We were in Naples for vacation and saw the fantastic reviews for Alberto’s and decided to try it out. We had a party of six. For starters, we had the bruschetta and the asparagus soup, which was the soup of the day. Both were delicious. For entrees, everything was fantastic, but the winner at the table was the butternut squash ravioli with sausage. The homemade pastas were excellent and authentic. For dessert, we shared a cremé brûlée, which was also good. The only reason for a 4 star rating was the speed of service, which was strange, because the place was about half full. It started well, but became very slow. We were at the restaurant for two hours and several times waited 15 – 20 minutes for water. Shore up the speed of service and it’d be a winner.

We came here with friends. None of us have been here before, and we were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant. We just moved to the area, so we didn’t have any idea where to go, and so once again, Unilocal to the rescue! :) The lighting and atmosphere is very romantic and elegant. I would have liked a table looking outside, but it was ok where we were. Our server was Italian, which was nice. He was very friendly and helpful. What I really loved about this place? Let me tell you… Most restaurants seem to want to just get you in and get you out. Not this place. Our server was at our table the second we would make eye contact, but he was also alright with us just relaxing and talking with our friends for a while before we ordered anything. I ordered the spinach and cheese ravioli. The pasta was homemade and perfect. The spinach and cheeses where combined so delicately and in just the right amounts. The cream sauce was light and savory. I appreciated that they didn’t pile the plate with pasta, as most places do. It’s just too much food usually. This was just the right amount. The presentation was beautiful. I think everyone was happy with their dishes. We ordered the limoncello for dessert. It was so light and airy and just perfect for a refreshing after dinner sweet! Bookmark this restaurant! This is a must go to place while on 5th avenue or in Naples!

Good Italian. Had soup of the day — mushroom, and it was good. Ravioli with tomato sauce good,
