Let’s see… –Extremely limited NYE menu? Check –À la carte menu jacked up by between $ 4 — $ 6 an entre compared to regular menu? Check –Cheesy, seizure inducing NYE décor? Check –Bread that tasted like it was bought at the Publix next door? Check –Chicken with mushrooms and shrimp… about 3 oz of bland chicken, one small overcooked shrimp(hilarious), multi-colored carrots that appeared to and tasted like they had been boiled(I mean, why in the world would you spend money on decent vegetables to boil them?! At least roast them for crying out loud)…Check for all –Pasta dish(name not even worth remembering) clearly using store-bought pasta and bland sauce. Could have made better at home? Check –Bizarre and extremely unappetizing presentation all around? Check $ 130 for these two incredible entrees(before tip), a shared appetizer(some forgettable tomato heirloom salad if memory serves), and four of the cheaper glasses of wine? Double check. Yeah, hurry up and get to this winner.

Thought it was going to be tricky with 9 people, but despite an error on our side when making the reservation they managed to change our table and fit our company of adults and children. Awesome! They had a lot of specials which I didn’t hear half of them(distracted by a toddler) but most of us ended up ordering from the specials. The ravioli was according to some people really good, two had fish and loved it, my husband had osso bucco(spelling?) with saffron risotto. yeah, no need to say he loved it. I had chicken with wild mushrooms, I was probably the least happy with my meal. Our daughter had some pasta and sauce but again, she didn’t eat. For dessert we had lemon tart, would have loved more zing of the lemon, tiramisu, and my daughter had the white chocolate/chocolate mousse. Yeah, she hated it … NOT. The drinks were good the wine too. The service was great, the place very cute and authentic feeling. I would definitely recommend this to visitors and locals alike.

Delicious Italian food and charming old world service! I love when a waiter takes the stage and puts on a show for the guests! They have several waiters that the way they describe the food there is no way you can order against their recommendations!(Which is fine because their food is fantastic!) Much of the pasta is made in house and the rest is imported straight from Italy. I usually stick to wine here but they do have a full bar as well. They often run a special that is bogo entrees before 7 I think. We have been pleasantly surprised by that a couple times, and missed it other times, but always a great meal!

Secluded in a small shopping center you will find what I think is the best Italian food in Naples. Locally owned and operated they consistently create incredible dishes. Put this with unparalleled service and you have a great restaurant. Their specials are always intriguing. Wine list is broad and not off the charts for price.

We had a party of 12 for a late dinner. The service was great and we really enjoyed the food. The wild mushroom ravioli was great, and the seafood pasta was terrific. Overall, a great experience.

Excellent food and service! I had the pesto sauce and my wife had veal… excellent. And unlike most other restaurants, the portions were reasonable… my wife and I both finished our meals. Our waiter was attentive and checked in on us multiple times. Man, that chocolate cake was so tempting but I didn’t go for it. Next time!

Although this restaurant is in a shopping center, don’t let that affect your decision to dine here. Amore is a very nice upscale Italian restaurant near downtown Naples that brings locals with wealth to dine The wine list is predominantly Italian with California wines as well. They have the moderate priced ones and the blue chip like Da Forno and Solaia The taster we had was delicious. A lobster filled gnocchi with an Alfredo sauce with shaved truffles on top. I don t know about you but anything that has the fragrance and taste of truffles is awesome The rest of the meal was very good just not as good as those NY Italian restaurants like in Little Italy Regardless this is serious food with a serious wine list Mangia!

My co-worker and I were traveling together in Naples and decided to try Amore based on other online reviews. We were not disappointed! We didn’t have a reservation but due to it being midweek we had no problem getting a table. My guess would be if you go there Fri-Sun you will need a reservation. Before we realized it the place was packed! Service was 5 star all the way. Food is a little pricey but it was Naples during peak season so it was definitely worth it. We both had the pennette alla vodka with grilled chicken. The portion was just right and the flavor was very good. We both enjoyed our dish. We shared a dessert which was heavenly. It was an amazingly creamy mousse on a brownie like base covered in a hard chocolate. I wish I remembered what it was called so I could find a similar recipe to try-it was that good! I will definitely go back on my next visit to Naples, the best meal we had on this trip.

From the moment you walk in the door you realize you are in for a wonderful evening. The greeting is warm and friendly. They get you going quickly with your wine and bread. If they have the ingredients, they will make it. The veal meatballs and your favorite pasta are the best. Finishing with a lemon cello is not a bad thing. enjoy

I think this is an elegant, well-cheffed, excellently staffed ristorante. Rob had a little complaint that his pescatore was long on calamari, short on shrimp… Etc. But I have nothing but a great review of the Agnello, perfectly cooked, saffron risotto with a touch of balsamic!!! O yes! Nice dessert, perfect espresso. And yes Charlie! Attentive, kind, perfect! Pricey yes… But a bargain with groupin or their summer specials. Bravo!!! Thank for the nice anniversary recognition. I could really go on, but battery dying. Treat yourself to AMORE!

My husband and I stumbled upon this hidden Italian gem. 2 for 1 dinner prices, great wine and the cheese was delicious. He had Veal meatballs w/Pasta. I had Tilapia Piccata. Both meals were excellent. We will be back.

The food is wonderful. Our table had the veal chop, it is pounded very thin and breaded it’s out of this world. I had the Dover sole very fresh, light and buttery. The Alfredo sauce is amazing. This restaurant in in a strip mall but the food is so great and you can sit outside!

Last night in Naples came here with my husband and his family. It’s a small place located in a strip mall of sorts but they certainly have some quality Italian food! We started with some champagne per the owner’s suggestion(he didn’t recommend the Prosecco we initially ordered). I had a pear, walnut and goat cheese salad, not exactly an inspired recipe but it never fails to please me. The raspberry vinaigrette dressing was deliciously tart and the portion size was perfect. I could have had a bit more goat cheese but that’s probably just my preference. For my main I went with one of the specials, a blue crab stuffed fresh ravioli in a rose sauce. My is that a decadent plate. Thankfully there were only 5 raviolis which was a perfect amount given the buttery crab meat and the creamy rose sauce were very filling. There really is nothing like fresh pasta either, you can tell the difference immediately. I scarfed it down. Six of us split 3 orders of the salted caramel gelato. Another very rich dish. It could have done with some more salt for sure but we had no problem polishing it off. I ended my meal with an espresso and couldn’t complain about the quality of beans or the crema. I can see why this spot is popular with the locals. I can’t wait to go back to Naples!

The food was good it was very loud and seating cramped and the service was very poor. We waited for our food for over an 1 ½ hours after complaining we were offered a glass of wine we declined and stated we would just like our food. Very disappointing dining experience. Hope your experience is better. We won’t be back for a while!

Made reservations on New Years Eve Day after a lack of planning for the night’s activities. Was in town with family, so there were four of us who went and we had an amazing time. Even though it was incredibly busy, service was great and timely — there were decorations and the waiter took our picture for us multiple times. Aside from the great environment and service, the food was AMAZING. We all agreed it was the best place we had eaten our whole vacation, and it is one of my top Italian Restaurants ever — too bad I’m a plane ride away! I had the Gnocchi and it was really, really delicious. Good wine selection, good bread. We were all really happy with the great start to our New Years Eve night!

My dinner went back to kitchen, after a 20 minute wait for waiters return with two of our party of five entrées. Service was haphazard at best, waiter was in such hurry he never took time do anything right. Too bad, probably will not return.

I just got back from Rome, Italy so I thought I was probably making a mistake, going to an Italian restaurant after I had tasted the ultimate Italian food but this place could be in Rome, it’s that good. The sauces alone could be eaten with a spoon, heavenly! Every dish looked like a masterpiece and tasted like one as well! The place is run efficiently by a young couple who own it but you won’t be able to get a smile out of them! Oh well still love the place!

On the plus side the food was excellent except the ubread which seemed to be store-bought and the Parmesan cheese was out of a box. Downside was very poor service. Restaurant was two thirds empty waitstaff were standing around. Not very interested in being helpful. Other downside was price. This was a $$ restaurant. Entrées were $ 30-$ 40 each Appetizers were $ 10-$ 20. Everything is à la carte. All in all I would not go back
