Big Dawgs Naples

We stopped here for lunch after a morning at the beach, and it was perfect! We ordered a hotdog with provolone and spicy mustard, with a side of cheese fries. Everything was DELICIOUS, and the service is fast and incredibly friendly. We loved being able to enjoy the nice weather on their outdoor tables and umbrellas. We’ll be back for sure!

The most delicious hot dog in town. Recently attended an event that was catered by this establishment, and I and those in attendance were delighted with the fare. Even my friends who are Chicago transplants were impressed. The dogs are oversized, well cooked and so very tasty, and, they offer a nice assortment of toppings, so you can customize your dog to your own particular taste. I had mine with mustard and kraut, which was crisp, tasty and not too salty. Even the bun is high quality, and the right size to accommodate the meat. The staff who did the serving were friendly, outgoing and anxious to please. A very positive experience. I intend to stop there soon and try some of the other items on their menu.

Came to Naples to do a job and saw Big Dawgs truck in a parking lot. I decided to stop and have a hot dog and fries for lunch instead i was surprise that he has more than hot dogs. I ended eating an Italian Beef, boy unbelievable, I don’t know how he did it. He brought the sandwich, the flavor the whole thing down to Naples some how from Chicago. that sandwich was so close to the real thing you don’t have to go to Chicago no more to taste an Italian Beef. Good job Big Dawg!

Food was amazing, the Chilli cheese dog is delicious but my favorite is the philly cheese steak and the impeccable service

This place is among only a couple places in Naples where you can even get a Chicago style hot dog. I’m from Chicago so having said that, my standards are high. This place does an okay job. They got all the basics right. My bun was pretty soggy and fell apart in my hands. They dog itself is a big fat one and not bad if that’s what you like, but not at all like you’d get in a standard Chicago dog. Still pretty good, like I said they do an okay job. That being said the price for a dog combo is $ 8.00 I mean come on, this is a trailer on the side of the road. What warrants that price I can’t imagine… Welcome to Naples I guess where everything costs more.

Hungry for a hotdog, we went to Big Dawgs for lunch today. The Chicago Dawg was excellent and i look forward to sampling other menu items. I did have a chance to taste the Big Dawg Meatballs and they were a real treat. Try their meatball sub if that’s your pleasure. The fries are real potatoes, perfectly prepared and not those processed fries we often find these days. I’ll be back.

SO GOOD. Tried the Chicago dog with fries, my boyfriend had the Philly cheese steak. Chicago dog was perfect– loaded with toppings but not overflowing to the point of being too messy. The relish on it was amazing. Fries were great. Philly was HUGE. I mean giant ridiculous huge. 12 oz of steak worth… Seasoning on it was delicious.
Quick and friendly service. The owner and another woman working were incredibly personable.

I wanted to try multiple dishes before I wrote a review. It’s good to try a few items before you create a whole opinion on the entire business.
First, I’ve been to Chicago. Home of the «best dogs in town» and this place is pretty head on with the freshness and the flavor! Its a ¼lb Vienna beef dog on a poppy seed bun loaded with tomato, relish, onion l, mustard, pickle and celery salt! Yummmm
I’ve also had the sausage and pepper. It’s a nice mild hot sub with fresh bell peppers and grilled onions.
By far the best is the massive philly cheese steak! It’s the biggest sub I’ve ever had … I believe it’s 12oz of steak with melted provolone cheese and bell peppers and onions.
The prices are on the medium to higher end, however you get a lot of food for your money and are sure to walk away full and happy!
Service is top notch. The owner is very nice and runs a smooth business.
