Disappointing. Oily and flavorless Moo Shi Pork. Pad Thai Noodles had zero peanuts or peanut flavor, as stated on the menu. Spring Rolls were bland. And the service was poor; waited 20 minutes to place our meal order and drink orders were forgotten multiple times. Restaurant space and atmosphere were nice, though.

soup was very good. However; the early dinner menu special was terrible. I ordered the pork product. it had no taste, did not appear to be stir fried — more like microwaved. Very disappointed in our meal. We were a table of 8 — we all agreed we would not eat there again.

Very good upscale Chinese restaurant in North Naples. Food is tasty and delicious. Eggplant and tofu dish was delectable with brown rice. Extremely tasty sauce with it. Typical fried noodles served with entrees. Atmosphere is very nice. Server was not very friendly or nice, but food came out fast as ordered so no complaints here. Reservations accepted, so that is nice. Better than your typical Naples Chinese restaurant, but not as good as ones in NYC or Boston.

Wonderful, out-of-the-ordinary dishes on offer here. I’ve dined in Asian restaurants in NYC and San Francisco; Charlie Chang’s can stand alongside any of the best in either city. I can’t speak to the poor reviews here made by diners who stuck with standard menu items offered anywhere and everywhere; it’s a restaurant’s signature items I look for when traveling. My family enjoyed dinner there on Wednesday evening, and I was blown away by their Lamb 3-cup, one of a few different lamb dishes I was pleased to choose from. Not many Chinese restaurants offer lamb, and the 3-cup was a nice portion of brown and burnished aromatic cubes of lamb. The combination of Shaoxing wine, sweet soy and sesame oil is something I’m taking to my home kitchen. Wish I had a restaurant just like it back in NJ.

Pam-Asian food… sooooo could have been better. Even the Edamame tasted off(almost sweet). Decent sushi and large rolls but overall… its a MEH.

One of the few Asian restaurants around that captures the taste of classic 80s/90s Asian restuarants. Old school Chinese with an updated 20-teens atmosphere. Beautiful modern décor with delicious authentic flavor. We started with the potstickers, which were one of the best we’ve had. Then egg drop soup, which tasted great and authentic. The fried rice with pork and chicken was tasty, but we both really enjoyed the lo mein with steak and shrimp.

2 Stars. Why? Because you will eat here and then completely forget. Or forget as you’re eating. — Are you in the mood for pan-Asian staples, elevated slightly above take out quality, in a décor best described as hotel lobby modern with Asian flourishes? Well then congratulations– you’re boring! Dining out should be an experience of some kind. Do something wild. Do something tried and true but with integrity or panache! With Charlie Changs, we’ve got standard fare done underwhelmingly plain. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Vegetable Fried Rice, General Tso’s Chicken, and some Sushi Rolls. All done average to well, mind you. All done exactly as you’d expect. The prices are slightly elevated from a standard American Chinese Restaurant, but the quality of the food fails to match. The meat hiding behind these dishes does not come across as freshly moist and tender. The sauces and flavors have that same grocery aisle staleness. P.F. Changs has it beat. Definitely a pass.

Great food and great service, went there for lunch, was empty and quiet but I like it that way sometimes! I had the hot and sour soup, gyoza, spring rolls and the crispy beef! It was all delicious! I would come back again next time I’m in Naples

I really enjoyed my dinner there last night. Nice place and service. The place is pretty clean and they have a nice outside area but too hot for the summer. Really good happy hour prices.

My husband and I came here for lunch. Place was empty, very peaceful and quiet. Very clean atmosphere and great food! We had hot and sour soup, which was SOGOOD! We had crab wontons, which has real crab meat in them and shrimp pad Thai. It was SOGOOD! My husband and I shared the plate and had left overs to take. I would of given this a five star BUT we wanted sushi also but there is only one person that does sushi in that whole place, and he wasn’t there so they weren’t serving sushi at that time. He had to run to the airport. They need someone else to make some sushi because that place, I heard, makes awesome sushi!!! Can’t wait to go back!

I would agree with almost every review here. Even the bad ones. The main point here is that the food tastes good. Sure it’s a little overpriced and the service is nothing to get excited about but I always like the food. I’ve been here about 4 times now and every dish has been enjoyable. Were they great? Probably not. They were good though. This is probably the best Chinese place in the Naples/Bonita Springs area. That’s because we don’t have too many chinese places to eat. Given the current food trends I would hope they pick up on local ingredients. They could very well take a lesson from Chipotle. Get rid of the artificial ingredients and go for natural flavors. They’re a little behind the curve on this one but Naples restaurants are largely populated by overweight old people who like tradition.

Stopped in late and was hoping for a good meal. The food came quick and was tasty and the servings were large. Great sushi and good hot dishes also. I always try to eat here when I stay in Naples.

Beautiful restaurant with some outdoor seating. Finally, great Chinese food in Naples. Great menu, lots of variety. I didn’t try the sushi but my friends did and said it was delicious. The service was too quick! Entrees came out before we finished appetizers. Worth returning.

Very good food but be prepared for slow service. Their air conditioner could use service as well. The appetizers are huge and rather than serve beer on cans they should have some kegs.

Here we go again, the dumplings were great the chicken denang was okay but my god the pork fried rice tastes like it was made by Ronald mc Donald, strange large chunks of unflavored pork, weird color and no green onion, no soy, no pork barbecued cubes, awful. PLEASE find a new chef, your CHEFSUCKS!!!

Didn’t stay! We were sat at a dirty table. Than I looked at the menu. Add $ 1.50 to each order for brown rice! Really? And I’m out the door!

Food is good but over priced. Had the pad Thai noodles and the lemon black pepper steak. Pepper steak good but the lemon taste is pretty strong. Pad Thai noodles little ask for extra sauce on the side. Service is nice just tell them what you want. I love food and I eat at a lot of restaurants, so I could be a little hard. But check it out for yourself.

4 ½ STARS We went to Charlie Chiang’s with some trepidation. We had lunch there about four years ago and were underwhelmed. But it was running a Peking Duck special and we were tempted. Well, were we pleasantly surprised! The restaurant had undergone a facelift since our last visit and now sports a bright and spacious entry, along with sleek tables and a good number of wide and comfortable booths. The waitpersons were cheerful and attentive. But it was the duck that stole the show. It came to our table-side piping hot, its perfectly bronzed skin glistening. The carver was excellent; he dexterously dismembered the limbs, then sliced the skin and meat thin, and removed fat from each piece of the skin. The beautifully plated duck came with the traditional accompaniments: pancakes, sliced scallions and hoisin sauce, but also thinly sliced cucumbers – a welcome innovative touch. The pancakes were a little too thick and chewy, but the duck was roasted and served perfectly. We have eaten Peking Duck countless times in different continents, and this is as good as any. Kudos, Charlie!

Thanks for ruining my Mother’s Day meal. So sad, this place has cut corners so bad, save your money and time, go to any Chinese Take out instead. The only thing that hasn’t changed are the high prices, quality has dropped like the stock market depression. Chow fun is not the real deal. It is actually cheap pad thai rice noodles which are not fresh, should have read my own review! Go to Chinatown on Pine Ridge, it is $ 8 for the same but fresh, savory dish. Ordered the tofu egg plant, it was covered in thick gravy like sauce, tasted like a typical American dish, heavy on flavor, take out quality. You could count the Tofu cubes in one hand. Sent back the noodles, they were cold and tasteless. Replaced with Moo Shu pancakes, no covers for the pancakes so they stayed cold, server had no sense and delivered it with no hoisin or sauces, when we asked, he gives it to us with no utensils. Server was a Russian, I don’t mind, if he would only know the menu. Obvious they do not train him. For these prices, $ 39 for one dish, really? A homeless man off the streets with common sense would do better. To say it was a major disappointment is like saying the Titanic had a small leak. Sorry, never again. Wasted not only our money, but time and memories.
