This was my bf and I’s first stop in the Finger Lakes– we bought a Canandaigua wine trail pass from here so had our tasting included. Our hostess seemed a little dazed and pretty curt: no descriptions about what we were tasting or any conversation, so this was more of a taste and GO experience. Didn’t particularly find anything special about the wine itself and they were definitely on the pricier side. Probably would have had a more pleasant experience with another guide.

This is a great place to check out if you’re in the Naples area. Forewarning – I have not been to any other wineries(.like at all) so this is based on a first experience! Inspire Moore is not your giant winery where you can walk through grape fields and then go into big barns with a bunch of barrels lined up along the walls that smell of oak and sweet or bitter scents. Ok, that’s just what I imagined a winery to be like. Instead, it is a quaint shop where you walk in and are welcomed by 2 gentlemen that offer you wine tastings and their own suggestions. Very friendly people! Their wine tasting is $ 5 and comes with 6. They tell you at the beginning that their wines are on the dry side. One side of the menu is red, the other is white. Black font means its dry, and red/purple font means its sweeter. Naturally, my friend and I went for the sweeter ones, but after trying our friends’ dry red wines, we decided to incorporate those into our mix too. If you are trying both red & white, they suggest white first. My favorite red was the Merlot and the one where they give you a piece of chocolate to drink with(wish I could remember the name! it was so delicious with the chocolate). And my favorite white was Love. I really liked all the names of their wines – so fitting with their name! We ended up buying 6 bottles among the four of us, giving us a 10% discount! YAA They also have a small selection of beer tastings in case you want to change it up.

The winery is located in a beautiful surroundings and scenery. Tried their red wines, my favs ‘Change’, ‘Synchronicity’, ‘Cabernet’.Ambience –4, Wines-4 Hostess(Stacey, the young blonde one) — REALLYRUDE and unwelcoming. Felt like as if she was doing us a favor . I would love to go again if I had another hostess giving us a wine tour.

Dry red wines… excellent. nice recycled bag they give too. Not as fun staff as red cat but not bad either.

I love stopping here for wine tastings! It is $ 2 to taste 6 of their wines! The staff is always very helpful, kind, and knowledgable. I think their wines are great. The names of their wines are different(Grace, Synchronicity, Love) and their bottles are unique. Several people I have purchased wine for as gifts have saved the bottles and specifically requested certain ones the next time I venture home for their collections. I got a great deal today on their three whites: Peace, Love, and Joy, for $ 35! Merry Christmas indeed!

Decided to do a spur of the moment mini wine tour on my way home from camping and I came across Inspire Moore. I had never heard of them before but with the help of Google Local on my smartphone and the purple exterior next door, I decided to stop in. Our tasting hostess was down-to-earth, friendly and informative. I was able to try a lot of different wines and it was a fun and relaxing atmosphere. I ended up getting a bottle of Love and I could have easily walked out of there with a case! Highly recommend this gem!

Very nice and friendly, goes a long way. Did the wine tasting, 6 glasses for $ 2. Found one wine which we liked so we got a bottle. Lunch at Roots next door was awesome.

I came here with my cousins and we had a great time. Since there was a couple tasting ahead of us we walked around and looked at all the fun tchotchkes in the gift shop. The tasting itself was $ 2 for 6 wines that were tasty. Our guide was really helpful(and generous with the pours) which made it a really fun experience for all of us. We also did the Riesling tasting and I loved the Canandaigua one, although I might be biased. We all ended up getting a couple bottles and the port was especially a big hit when we brought it back for everyone else. It went great with homemade chocolate chip cookies!

Got a bottle of gratitude and inspiration. This was our first wine tasting in the Fingerlakes and we had a pleasant experience. However, after trying about 10 more wineries on the various lakes, it seems Inspire Moore is a one of the pricier wineries. The server who lead us through the wine tasting was also nice enough to take a picture of us outside on the deck overlooking the vineyards. That was a nice touch.

UPDATE: This vineyard is now called«Inspire Moore» Adorable and slightly on the kitchy side. The large brightly colored building set off from Main Street in Naples has a tasting room as well as an area where they sell their wines and some inspirational goods. I have tried the majority of their wines and they have been the best I have tried on the Canandaigua wine trail. Although I am normally a huge fan of bold hearty reds Imagine Moore does a good job of making the best of the grapes that flourish in the Finger Lakes region. The must tries are their whites but they even have some decent reds which is not typical for upstate NY. The people working have always been very knowledgeable and made it a fun and interesting stop. One time it was the owner herself, Diane. If you are driving through Naples stop and try a few to see the best of Finger Lakes wines.

Napa Valley, eat your heart out! I came across Image Moore during the«mini-moon»(aka: 3 days of post-wedding relaxation in the Naples valley) on our quest to find some good local wines. Driving down main street, the bright sign and even brighter(purple!) house caught our eye and the hubby and I decided to stop on. The tasting room is quaint, with whimsical decorations and great music playing. Walking through the door, the intense grape smell hits you, and the soft music and warm-hued paintings make it seem less like a winery and more like stepping into you’re cool sort of crunchy friend’s home. It’s a sustainable vineyard that produces several really great wines. For $ 2, we were able to enjoy a customized«flight» of wines poured by Diane herself. Diane was very knowledgeable, not to mention super personable! Since we were the only two at the counter, we got to chat with her(she and her husband co-own the winery) and hear a bit about the place. Coincidentally, while chatting we discovered that all of the wines served during our rehearsal dinner hailed from Imagine Moore. Clearly we picked the right winery to visit :) Besides the wine, there is a shop with all of the typical grape– and/or wine-themed kitch that you can pick up(personal fave: the«Drink Moore Wine» bumper stickers). We left with a case of wine(they offer a 20% discount if you buys a case, and yes, you can mix and match) I’d give the overall experience 4.5 stars, but rounded up for the added wine-buzz bonus. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a wine TOUR(the whole ride a tractor /look at growing grapes /be a wine-tourist) then this may not necessarily be for you. If you’re looking to taste some really great(and reasonably priced) NY wines, you definitely should check it out.
