First visit here today. I had the ½ Cuban sandwich, and a chicken & cheese arepa. I loved both equally. It was served with black beans and rice. I loved the black beans, as they were not spicy. They have a delicious hot sauce on the side, if you need some heat. Finished it off with a fantastic Cuban coffee. I’ll definitely be back. Hidden gem.

This little place was not the easiest to find but well worth the effort. I had the ½ Cuban Sandwich with white rice and black beans. The flavor was good and well rounded. I completed my meal with a Cuban Coffee of which the flavor was delicious. My brother had the Roasted Pork with Fried Yuca and caramelized Plantains. I tried a bite of the pork and was thoroughly impressed. All in all, I was happy with the food, the«off the beaten path» atmosphere, and the friendly/helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Mango’s is good, homemade Cuban food. Highlights were the maduros, fried yucca and the chimichurri sauce with the pernil. The price is right and the management’s hospitality can’t be beat. To top it off, don’t miss out on the flan!

If you skip this place because of its unusual location or looks, you’d miss a diamond in the rough. Great authentic food. I had the steak. Excellent seasoning. Huge portion and great pricing for Naples. Don’t expect atmosphere. Expect great food.

Great off the beaten path change of pace. Sweet plantains did not disappoint. Very reasonably priced menu.

Worth going here at least once. Good food and cute little place. Seems to be family owned… the husband and wife were working the front. Here’s why only 3 stars. You would never know how to find this place, unless you drive by it… but it’s in an industrial area… not on main roads. Couple miles away is Fernandez the Bull restaurant which is a bit better on the food, easy to find and get to, and more ambiance. I might go back, but probably go elsewhere 1st.

Don’t bother for breakfast. Horrible service, horrible looking pastries, weak coffee. Don’t even have jams for toast. Asked for extra butter for the dry toast and got attitude — with no one else in the place. Should have left when I saw the empty place.

Food was good. Priced wonderfully. Staff very friendly. Great Colombian bread. Guava pastries were good. A little small inside and short hours. Will go again

Went here for lunch today. Food is ok; nothing spectacular. Price is ok… $ 5.95 — $ 9.95(for Churrasco, which seems to be the most expensive item on the menu.) Service is horribly slow. Two ladies working the front(may be the co-owners); I’d normally say that’s not enough during the lunch hour, but it really wasn’t that busy. I went to the counter and ordered my Cuban sandwich«for here» then took a seat. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive. A gentleman came in and sat at the next table, and eventually got up to leave after 15 minutes since no one came to serve him. He told me there was a better cuban place nearby. I won’t mention the name since I haven’t verified this. Another gentleman waiting for his to-go order lost his patience and said out loud, «I have to get back to work!». He was given his order a couple of minutes later with apologies. I would say your best bet during lunch time is to call in your order for pickup. I saw a number of people did this and were in and out in a few minutes.

Empanadas are still delicious, but It would have been better of it had more their tasty filling. I didn’t get the sauce to go with it, not sure if they no longer have it or they just forgot to give it to me, but the sauce makes the empanadas. The batido de mamey I had left a lot to be desired, but that’s fine I’ll just stick to the empanadas. The fish sandwich was also really good. The staff was very friendly.

Great Cuban sandwiches and other Cuban specialties. No atmosphere but great lunch place when your in the area and feel like some Cuban food. Right in the middle of a commercial area but very authentic. Good block if you are shopping for your remodeling needs.

So where was the roast pork in the Cuban sandwich? Am I spoiled but I thought it comes with real roasted pork in a Cuban sandwich. Do I see Processed roast pork? Maybe because of new ownership? Can anyone tell me if this is the way it’s always been made.

Stopped for lunch and we had patacones and the grilled chicken combo with beans and rice. We’ve never had Cuban food and were quite happy with it and found it to be delicious! The waitress was friendly even though we didn’t speak Spanish and helped us pick out food. Service was quick and prices are great. Our whole lunch only cost $ 17.

My wife found this place awhile ago and every time we’ve been here, it has been a pleasure. Food is always good and the prices are unbeatable. Note: we recently found out that the place is under new owners and they plan to introduce more Colombian style food(I personally can’t wait since I’m a big fan of Colombian food).

WTG Unilocal reviewers — You did it again and led us to the best little Cuban Café in Naples Florida! I had the ½ Cuban and black beans and rice(WOW… All I can say is WOW) Terry had the roasted pork and we shared a Yuca with Mojo– first time I had Yuca and the garlicy, buttery goodness on top of it was just the absolute most amazing thing ever! So amazing that became a staple of our trip to south Florida and the ones at Mangos were some of the best. If you are in Naples, it is worth searching out this Jewel… The table beside us had the roast chicken and when we are back in Naples I am trying the chicken too — it was jusicey and pulled of the bone perfectly.

I only ordered a cuban to-go but it was very good. I can’t wait to comeback, sit down, and eat. Great prices. The pics other Unilocalers posted look amazing. THANKS

I’ve been driving past the guy with the Mango’s Cuban Café sign on Airport Road for a while and decided it’s about time I gave them a visit. Signs of a restaurant that I’m probably going to like: * Off the beaten path * Random location * Ethnic/authentic type of joint * Portion/Cost ratios in the upper echelon * Friendly staff Mango’s met that criteria and introduced me to another new dish on my life’s culinary adventure. I can’t even remember the name of it as I’m typing this, but if you look at my pictures, then you will see it. It reminded me of a Sope from a local taco truck. It had shredded beef on a plantain based with cheese, slaw, sauce, etc. I don’t think anything on the menu cost more than $ 6. Once I have a chance to try out more of the menu items, then I may up the review another star. If you haven’t tried them out, then give them a shot.

Absolutely wonderful! I found this in my GPS under ‘restaurants’. Since we don’t have a good Cuban place where I’m from I decided to try it. It’s a little off the beaten path, but well worth the effort to find. Don’t waste time eating at the franchises. Go eat at Mango’s. If you don’t know Cuban food they’ll help you pick something. Just trust them, and enjoy.

We stumbled upon Mango’s while making a stop at a local marble & tile store, and I can tell you we will go out of our way to come back whenever we are nearby. The owner/manager could not have been nicer and the food was fantastic. If you have trouble pronouncing it — order it! You can’t go wrong. Everything is fresh, organic and home-made — well worth the trip.

Great food. Everything under $ 7! Cortadito $ 1.50 and Espresso Shot for $.50! I had the Cachapas with cheese and ham. As good as any I’ve had.
