Went to try on shoes as I had recently changed shoe size due to weight change and no one in the shoe department had any knowledge of the items they were selling. After receiving two pairs of shoes from the saleswoman to try on, she wandered off. Sad to see a department store with quality inventory but no quality customer service.

I love this Nordstrom! They are always super friendly, and there are so many fun and beautiful things to see. The store is very clean and bright, and they make you feel like a celebrity :)

Yum! the food was really good! I had the bistro sandwich with fries. The fries were absolutely amazing! The sandwich was just ok. Turkey was a bit dry but tasty when I added the sauce on top of the sandwich. Service was a bit slow but not terrible. Service with a smile was appreciated. Glad I didn’t have to pay for it though. Quite expensive for my taste but is nonetheless worth the price. :)

This is a review for the café in Nordstrom. It’s on the second floor and has a variety of sandwiches, salads, etc. My absolute favorite thing to get there is the bistro crab bisque and the bistro club (sliced chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, green beans, garlic aioli, bacon) which comes with French fries. SO GOOD!!! You order and pay at a register then sit at the table of your choice and it’s full service from there. It’s always great service and people and delicious food.

This review is for the Nordstrom Café. I never knew until the other day that there was an excellent restaurant located in the store. I can probably attribute that to me not being out shopping very often, but I was happy to discover this place after hearing about it at work.
It’s a nice place to escape for a quite, relaxing and casual lunch. You order at the counter but then get full service once you’re seated. Everything is made fresh and you can really tell the quality of the ingredients in the food. I’ve had the Prime Rib sandwich and the Bistro Chicken and Frites so far, both delicious.
The only detraction from the place is the pricing which seems a little high for lunch, but I guess that is to be expected as it is Nordstroms after all and at the Waterside Shops.

6 people waiting for shoes and two people working. Waited 36min to even try on a pair and then the time was split between 3 others. Boo. Not Nordstrom-​like.

Not the biggest Nordstrom that I have in with the widest selection but the sales people here have the outstanding service that Nordstrom is known for. So patient and so willing to go the extra to see if certain sizes can be found elsewhere and shipped. The dressing rooms are also over sized.

A few year’s ago, the Oracle that is Oprah said, «You have to get things tailored.» That’s a nice concept for anyone with enough assets to have personal staff, or for old school Europeans who hang all of five articles in their closet with a retail value of a small house.
But for the few occasions when I must trust a pro, Nordstrom’s alteration department is outstanding. And when travelling, you can pop in to a local Nordstrom’s for a free steam press of any Nordstrom’s garment that you’ve brought along.
My legs may be long enough to touch the ground, but they aren’t tall enough to fit into most off-​the-​rack pants. I usually choose to butcher the hems at home, or I will give them to a dry cleaner’s seamstress to fix.
This week I chose an awesome long skirt that I entrusted to Nordstrom’s streamstress. Wow. In just a few days, she worked her magic, and I now own a skirt that looks like it was made just for me.
Very worth the indulgence.
