P.F. Chang’s

My wife and I went dined her while on vacation in Naples. Our server was very nice and the restaurant itself was very clean and decorated nicely. We saw a 3 ½ star review on here and we’re weary but still tried it anyway. Our appetizers were excellent but our entrees however were not. We both ordered 2 different chicken dishes and while eating we began noticing some pieces of chicken were just about raw. To be fair the pieces that were cooked were excellent but uncooked chicken is extremely disgusting and a meal ruiner. I’d have to say we would never go back unfortunately.

Plan on leaving hungry if you order the Kalaidescope Roll for lunch. While it tastes good, it is about the same circumference of and twice as long as a spring roll. For $ 11.95, not a great option unless you are in the mood for just a snack.

Love this place. Changs spivey chicken and the honey crispy shrimp or my favorites. Along with the veggie lettuce wraps and I don’t usually like tofu!

My husband and I have come here several times in the past 3 or 4 months due to a change to a gluten free diet. They have a great gluten free menu and we have been pleased with the entrees.
HOWEVER… Every time the restaurant has been so cold that we pull sweaters, sweatshirts and blankets out of the trunk. The last time was this past weekend. I had on pants, shirt and a long sweater. My husband had shorts, shirt and a wool sweater. We both spoke with the hostess and server who said yes patrons frequently report the restaurant as being cold and uncomfortable. They agreed it was too cold for patrons and themselves. All the hostesses were wearing sweaters and most servers had on long sleeve shirts. Our server tried to laugh it off saying we figure you will get used to it after a few minutes. They both said management hasn’t responded to the numerous complaints by turning the air up. Every time we come we ask them to turn up the air, they say they will, they never do. We have actually used napkins as blankets.
This particular visit we ordered two entrees. They arrived is a timely fashion and we began eating. Before we were half done our food was cold. We hurried up and finished eating out of desperation as we were out all day and starving. We left as quickly as we could turning the car seat warmers on… no lie.
There is no reason I can fathom that they would keep it that cold. It makes for a miserable dining experience. Our food was also ruined because it too was cold within moments of sitting on the table. All in all, a very unpleasant repetitive experience.
So if you intend to brave the PF elements. I might suggest Minnesota cold weather gear and a small heater to keep your food warm once it leaves the kitchen. Unless, of course, your one of those people who enjoys cold temps and cold food!

PF Changs is where we like to go for a quick lunch. We love the salt and pepper prawns and the Mongolian beef is really good. If you don’t like food that are too salty, you do need to let your server know and that’s what we do all the time and the food always turns out great. Our server today was really nice and friendly. The place is also always clean. It’s a bit dark inside but we like it.

PF Changs used to be much better. The portion sizes have gradually been decreasing, while the price isn’t or is being raised. You end up ordering more for a meal and then end up paying more. Guess that is business — but really, I rather see the price go up a bit and still get a good portion. Staff was good, noise level the same for the design of the buildings — a bit loud.

We live it here, the food is always fresh and yummy, hubby and I like to sit at the bar. Jeremy, Britney and Anthony are so awesome. Plus they pour the best cocktail in town!

Our family had a wonderful meal sitting on the back deck this morning. We shares the chicken lettuce wraps, cashew chicken, beef a la Sichuan, which came out overdone the first time and the waitress rushed us a new order right away. The breeze on the back deck made a hot spring day very enjoyable.

Beautiful décor with good food. Enjoyed the beef and broccoli dish with a cold glass of ichiban beer. Here with family with intentions of driving south to Key West

Absolutely love the food and the drinks here! If you are a sweet and sour soup fan you should definitely try it here. (Vegetarians beware it does contain chicken) The chicken lettuce wraps can’t be missed. High quality chicken and beef everytime. The drinks here are worth the money, which is saying a lot since they are not cheap! Try the mai tai. If you have room for dessert go for the banana spring rolls!

We got to PF Changs at about 5:20 and we had a reservation for 5:30. They would not seat us until our reservation time even though the restaurant was nearly empty. We stood and waited as did other groups. We brought another couple who had never been to Changs and based on our comments, they had high expectations. When seated we ordered an appetizer and drinks. Our waiter disappeared and returned after about 20 minutes without drinks. He apologized and said that everyone came in at the same time and ordered drinks. The manager came by and apologized that the bar was so slow tonight. The waiter came back about 10 minutes later with the drinks and apologized again. We ordered our main course. About 10 minutes later we received our appetizer and another apology. We asked for salt and after a few minutes the waiter returned without the salt. He returned with the salt when we were finished with the appetizer. Three in our party ordered another drink. Two showed up in a reasonable amount of time, with the third drink more than 15 minutes later. Another apology. Our food arrived and the server noticed that one of the portions was only about half of the normal size. The server said she would bring back another order, which she did in a timely manner. The waiter stopped by and commented that they weren’t prepared for a large crowd tonight and that the new sushi menu items were creating problems for the kitchen. The manager came by again a couple of times with more apologies. The food was very good as usual. When the waiter brought our bill, he stated the the manager was buying one round of our drinks. When he brought the bills, all of our drinks were still on the bill, The table next to us was experiencing the same type of problems we were. They commented that they were going to contact PF Changs corporate office to complain. We had a friendly conversation with them and even joked about the service. Other than the good food, our joking about the horrible service was the highlight of the evening.

Manager was great. …waitress seem to be highly medicated with all her mistakes. .changes is good but waitress made this very unbearable they need better help! !!

Just walked in at 7pm tonight. 30 percent of the restaurant is empty. For our party of 4 that included two kids we were told 30 minutes. Clearly no interest in serving families tonight. I was shocked. When I asked again was told I should have made a reservation. My guess is they were understaffed and could not manage all tables. Never have I been turned away from a restaurant with so many empty tables.

I just went on Thursday night. DO NOT GO THERE. The service was okay but my food was awful. I had spicy chicken. My rice was cold and about 25% of my chicken was grisly and so disgusting that I spit it out and felt like gagging. I brought a few pieces home. When I looked at them the next morning I could see the inedible chicken parts that they used and the rest of the meat was all dark meat. I will not go back to the Naples PFChang!

Each year they get less appealing. Used to be a fan in Denver. Then the Boston one opened and wasn’t very clean. Now our worst experience to date: filthy ladies room, food that now tastes like their frozen brand.
Only edibles left are pan fried pork dumplings and saucy spareribs. Keep the giant horses PF but get the act together with cleanliness and fresh food appeal.

I’ve been to this PF Changs before and never experienced the poor service and smal portions we had last night. Our waitress never asked us about refills. After we finished our dinner, we were supposed to get a dessert, but our waitress had disappeared for 15 minutes. No offer of a dessert menu, no boxes offered, no bill brought. The manager even came by and asked us how our meal was. I stated we weren’t done, hoping he’d do something about the service, but he just walked away.

Decent food, small portions and slow service though. The bill was rung up incorrectly which was also frustrating. Overall an entirely average experience.

It’s a respectable chain, much like the Cheesecake Factory for example, so I know the quality to expect. This location has always delivered above and beyond thanks to a fast moving line on the rare occasion there even is a wait, the fast service once seated, friendly staff, and one of the best gluten free menus around (especially in a town like ours). I’ve never had a bad experience with a single item ordered, but I’ll still recommend an item that has consistently stood out to me as slightly above the rest – their delicious lettuce wraps (which can be made gluten free upon request). Also recommended: any of their wide array of hot teas.

Excellent service. Our server was very friendly and refilled our drinks right away. The restaurant was clean and cozy. I ordered the lettuce wraps which are my favorite! I think they are everyone’s favorite. :).
Water with lemon– I think he gave me 6 lemon wedges which was awesome.
My hubs ordered the shrimp fried rice and a age of snap peas which were also great.

I love P.F. Changs. I’ve been to locations all over, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Las Vegas. This one is just like all the others – cleans, consistent, delish.
Who else could turn lettuce into lettuce wraps, one of my fav dishes!
I always try to schedule my meetings with my client, Gold’s Gym, so I can manage coming here afterwards, either for lunch or dinner.
