We got a Peppi’s Pizza for the thin crust and I gotta tell you it wasn’t that good! Super skimpy on cheese & toppings. Crust was good. but it was basically crust and tomato sauce! We are stick with South Street from now on!

On a whim and a local recommendation, dinner here was spectacular. Warm and inviting in a casual enviornment with real Italians operating the establishment and real Italian music playing in the background. Service was prompt, curious and very respectful. The food was delivered quickly and it was hot. Brilliant flavors throughout. If your dish called for Garlic, they used real Garlic(like you should) instead of a flavored powder. I would recommend this place, and I will go back.

Very good!!! The management was very friendly and we had good conversation. The restaurant was cute and cozy. The cheese bread was loaded with cheese and garlic. I love garlic! The pizza was also delicious. The food came out in a timely fashion, it was a nice evening! I would go back for sure!

This pizza is unreal! Pretty thin crust, a variety of toppings, and you can order anything to your liking. They serve beer and wine too. Definitely eat in – they have great customer service. Very friendly and attentive.

Best pizza in Naples. The white pizza is my favorite with mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, and mushrooms. It is thin crust pizza and you can get it by the slice. One or two slices is perfect for me. They have table service or to go. Good prices and fast. Not a huge place and it does get very busy. Everyone is so nice and a great neighborhood pizza place. I recommend it to anyone, especially if you are in a hurry and just want a slice.

You HAVE to try Peppi’s. It is in a strip mall and small but the pizza and pasta are authentic and delicious ! The staff are all family of Peppi. It is fun to hear all the Italian being spoken between them. The pizza dough is thrown in the air and turns out crispy and yummy. Oh my goodness! So so good. I always get a couple Peronis with my meal. And the salad is simple but delicious too. We ALWAYS go to Peppis our first night in Naples. And usually go back a second time that week. haha. You won’t be disappointed here.

We stopped at Peppi’s for a quick lunch over the Thanksgiving holiday– it’s one of my in-laws’ go-tos. The menu at lunch is small, and you might be out of luck if you’re not a fan of tomato sauce. We did end up liking everything we ordered; my eggplant sub was delicious, my husband enjoyed the meatball sub, and both the pizza and spaghetti & meatball were apparently quite good as well. The servers were very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and our meal was ready quickly. Overall, it’s nothing fancy, but it’s a solid choice for a quick lunch.

What a great little pizza joint. I don’t recall the name of the pizza we ordered but it was a white pizza with ricotta cheese, spinach, mushrooms and Italian sausage. We added the red sauce and substituted the mushrooms for artichokes. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The crust was cooked to a crispy perfection. The wait staff was very friendly and courteous. Our order was prepared accurately. When in Naples we will definitely go back.

Amazing pizza! They sell slices of pizza that are a good size… Big enough to fold. Good subs too!

Love this pizza! We tried the perfect marriage pizza during our honeymoon. Each time we come to Naples we stop by! Great service and great pizza!

Real deal thin crust pizza with just the right amount of crispness and chew. Generous and tasty toppings, especially the rich and buttery cheese. The pies are light on sauce, which lets the flavor of the ingredients really shine. Some of the best pizza in Naples by far. Staff was very pleasant and helpfully accommodated a food sensitivity for our order. My new go to place for pizza. Oddly, Peppi’s does not have a website so be sure to grab a menu on your way out so you can order take-out.

Last night I ordered a Margherita Pizza(with added ham) to go. It was like eating a round bread with tomato sauce, where was the cheese and seasonings? That’s too bad because we live only one mile from Peppi’s Pizzeria and try it every couple of years hoping it will improve and it only gets worse. We go out of our way to support locally owned businesses so it is difficult to write this(honest) review. We will not be going back to Peppi’s. There are so many other really great pizzerias in Naples.

We were looking for pizza, but not the usual kind — we wanted something a little different. This pizza was really good! We ordered three pizzas: cheese, pepperoni and sausage and then an order of baked ziti. My kids liked the pizza, but they always like pizza My dad really liked it, and isn’t normally a pizza eater. The crust is thin but not overly crispy, it really was perfect. The pasta was fantastic! It came with a salad and bread. The salad was basic but the dressing tasted homemade. The 4 star rating is only because it was pricey — the medium pizza with 1 topping was $ 12.95, the pasta was $ 15.95.

A decent place with good pizza and decent service. We had your basic thin-crust pepperoni pizza and there was nothing left to take home. A good crust and sauce. I’d definitely eat there again.

Part of me thinks that it borders on blaspheming to name a pizza joint by ANY name sounding remotely close to the Mecca itself — that being Frank Pepe’s Neapolitan Pizzeria — or «Pepe’s» by those who know — and by extension — love Pep’s. That said, this joint makes a tremendous pizza. We all know that the basic cheese is the best determinant of quality. Two nights ago(at 10 minutes prior to closing) I called in the order. No problem, she said. It would be ready once I arrived.(I confess that I strayed from the basic cheese and called in a Margherita) Sure enough — it was being sliced as I entered. Great crust. Just the right amount of crunch/inner moisture. Nothing soggy. Tomato slices were thin, basil was fresh. It IS not what I call«Pepe’s»(New Haven, CT). It is, after all — «Peppi’s». But I’ll say this — it’s definitely the best pizza I’ve had in Naples! So — I’ll call it «The Pepe’s of Naples»(or Peppi’s for short!)

Decent pizza that is reliable. I come to Naples every year to visit family and we always go to this place at least once. The pizza is flavorful and fresh, but really not that much better than your average Italian pizza place. It has been around for a while though and the service is usually great so I give it 4 stars.

I know it’s a matter of debate, but Peppi’s has my vote as the best pizzeria in Naples. PIzza’s are thin, very crispy. Tomato sauce is fresh and acidic, pasta dishes are also well prepared and authentic. Great fresh baked garlic bread too.

If you’re a self proclaimed«pizza connoisseur» you may think otherwise, but in terms of Naples pizza, Peppi’s is definitely a serviceable option at a good price. The owners are Italian and you can tell they take pride in their clean, reasonably priced establishment. The pizza is thin and crispy, the beer is cold, and the service is good. Can’t ask for much more honestly. We had the meatball and the white pizza which comes with spinach, ricotta and mushrooms. My only qualm is the use of canned shrooms over fresh. Other than that, everything was good. Not to mention my Italian grandmother loves it. I highly recommend getting a loaf of their freshly baked bread to go if you can appreciate incredible toast/bread and butter.

On vacation in Naples last week we picked up Peppi’s for a quick dinner one night. Not impressed. We had pepperoni, green pepper and onion. Too many overcooked onions but the green pepper and pepperoni’s were nice. The crust was strange, not too crispy but not soft or chewy it was just kind of dry. Found the cheese quite greasy too. I hear Cosmos is fantastic — go there instead.
