Waffle House

The most awesome dive restaurant around. Can’t get better late nite dive food. Waffles are sweet and delicious, hash browns are your way. Waiters are friendly and fast. Menu has everything made right in front of you. Can be busy in peak times. Always consistent and awesome. I cannot eat there enough. Same food everywhere there is a waffle house. Don’t expect anything fancy, except good fast food sitting down with a juke box.

Classic Waffle House, service isn’t bad, I mostly go after 11pm on weekends. They will greet and welcome you. The food is okay but remember it’s fast roadside food, don’t expect prime steaks. For cheap fast food this is a good place. Go and you will be satisfied

In response to Mikayla I would like to say I asked you to leave, because you were being extremely loud in the restaurant. The situation was under control until you and your child came out from the restroom being loud immediately. I asked you to calm down multiple times, and you did not. It is unfortunate that you decided to turn this into a racist claim and take away from the true situations which actually are racial. Our restaurant is extremely culturally diverse. I wish you the best Mikayla.

A couple in this restaurant yelled at a toddler who looked their way, for no reason other than the fact that they were native Americans. When the mother defended her son the manager asked HER to leave because he was familiar with the couple. Upon leaving the couple told her that she could post their photo to «I f’ing hate native Americans» on Facebook. This place and it’s «manager» are a disgrace. Don’t go here unless you want to be discriminated against and then kicked out for it.

Regular waffle house fair. nothing bad but nothing special either. Simple good food.

You know you are in trouble when the Wait Staff all have sweatshirts on. It was really cold in there. The food was good as usual but half way through the meal all the food was cold as it was freezing in there, A/​C was cracked up.

The table had waffles, bacon, eggs, coffee, and the famous hashbrowns. All was as expected, which is to say fantastic. The hashbrowns (with mushrooms and onions) lived up to their legendary status. The coffee was excellent as well.
Service was great, as they were attentive and catered to our every need.
The only downside — and this is from a companion, not me — is that their waffle could have been cooked a bit more. Easy remedy, next time we will ask for our waffles well done.
We did have to wait a bit for a table to open up, so we helped ourselves to a cup of coffee. This was a great option and I wish more places had this available.

Waffle House. Simple name, simple sign. Looks like your typical breakfast spot. Nothing fancy. The food, however, was really good.
The waffles are obviously made to order as you can see them make them from the seats. The jalapeño biscuits were definitely homemade and tasty. The cheese grits were thick and cheesy and just enough of a portion to satisfy. The staff was friendly and attentive. Only complaint: the coffee is definitely not good. Get juice and you got a solid breakfast!

Delicious, fast and great price — can’t beat it :-). Love having the waffles come from the pan directly to you at the counter — fresh and hot.

Do they ever clean these restaurants?

sometimes you just get a craving for waffles. luckily you are not alone… there is a waffle house practically near every exit off the interstate.
waffles, pancakes and of course the hashbrowns. covered, smothered gravied you name it…
good comfort food on the road.

When you’ve been driving a monotonous linear I-​75, a cup of Americano served by a smiling Southern belle hits the spot just as well as a fancy latte! I had been dragging on my most recent work trip — coupled with the Daylight Savings Time switch the day before — when my eady beady eyes were greeted with the sign for this oasis. It’s a smaller version of Denny’s, and like Yendi V says don’t expect gourmet or healthy food. When you’re on the road, few things fuel you back up like a hot cup of coffee (no fancified coffee names here, son) and a ginormous, fluffy waffle with butter and maple syrup. Splurge 75 cents for strawberry or bananas mixed in with your breakfast. It adds to the taste and then you can say you ate healthy!

I’m suddenly thrust into 1978 Naples and this Waffle House is definitely not making it onto my «Health Nut List.» In any case, I ordered the Biscuit and Gravy, an order of Chocolate Chip Pancakes, some hash browns and 2 cups of coffee for dinner. The condition of the place is definitely used and abused its a traditional greasy diner. By the looks of the juke box, it seems as if we would find this place in a George Lucas film from the early 80’s, nice. I think i’m going to sport my Leia buns next time I show up, I am the duchess of the Waffle House, so there.
