If you are looking for a tailor that does great work fast and is affordable Mary is your tailor. She had my bridesmaid dress altered in 4 days and only charged me $ 15. The dress is strapless so she added elastic to the top so that it fits to my body and I will be able to dance without the dress falling. She said if I want to actually take the dress in it would be $ 35 and I wouldn’t be able to sit. I highly recommend her.

I got my graduation dress from online the day before graduation, and it was HUGE. The size was completely wrong and I didn’t have time to order another one. I called at least five shops before I called Mary’s shop, and every one of them said it was impossible to help me with the dress. But when I told Mary about my situation, she asked me to stop by and show her the dress, and she told me that she would definitely get it done by tmw. Three hours after I dropped off the dress, she called me and asked me to come and try it on. And it fits perfectly! Mary stayed after the closing hour for my dress because she knew that I would be miserable if I didn’t have it done by tomorrow. She is so nice and friendly and great at her job. And she also offered personal advise on how to wear my hair and etc… I really appreciate her help! You won’t be disappointed!

Mary is the best. I’ll never go anywhere else again. I needed the hem of a stretchy dress taken up, which is not easy. She did a perfect job and for only $ 25. What I like best is the honest,“womanly” advice Mary gave me (when I asked): wear nude hose, pumps with a mid-​heel, get some Flexees from Macy’s to smooth out bumps. She knows her stuff. Not only does Mary make sure her work looks exceptional — she wants you to look beautiful, too.

I visited Mary based upon the Unilocal reviews and have to agree with them. She does a great job, is very upfront and honest with her opinion of what needs to be done, works quickly and is a hoot to talk to. Definitely recommend.

Mary is exceptional. I was to be a bridesmaid 2 weeks after giving birth. The dress size I purchased before the baby was born was a ‘best guess’ as to what size and shape my body would be in after the baby. Of course it didn’t fit across the bust. Mary did a RUSH job at a very reasonable price, considering what had to be done and the time constraints the altering had to be done in. I would return to her in a second. Go to Mary and you won’t be disappointed. Can’t say enough good things about her.

i have also been to Mary’s Tailor Shop and I had 3 stretchy dresses that I need to be altered and she had the special machine to make the alterations and have it shortened. It was very difficult to find someone that can do this type of material and I was very pleased and she is very good at what she does. I highly recommend Mary for all of your alterations. 5 stars goes to Mary! She is also very friendly and customer oriented and eager to please. Love Love Love Mary!

Mary is fantastic! She is incredibly considerate to the needs of the customer and does beautiful work. I’ve brought simple alterations — hemming — and complex ones — completely re-​working a dress that was two sizes too big on top and perfect on the bottom — and been very pleased with the quality of work, how quickly it gets done, and the price. Great shop!
