This place is missing something. The location is great, the atmosphere inside is cool but they are missing something. I have only had a chance to get some drinks but I have seen the food and it doesn’t look bad. They could use some music or events to attract people just something. I want to like this place.

so cheerful attentive service. a good start and thats the highlight. i cannot recommend this place. burgers not made on premise frozen then nuked, for that price… nah. the krabby patty was a sloppy mess. should have been served with a spoon or maybe a straw. they had a local craft beer on draft but replaced it with coors light. and lastly who if any one working or eating here even know who«Buster Krabbe» is?

I agree with the reviewer that Buster Krabs of the past is not that of the present. This place really is bad on the palette and wallet. Fish Tacos, $ 17.95, with very little fish and slaw also soggy. Cmon for that price the tortillas should have been overflowing with fish and slaw. The kids meal, Chicken nuggets, $ 7.99, looked more appetizing than the fish tacos. BTW, the snack bar at the beach also sells fish tacos for $ 7.99. Very disappointing Mr Krabs!!!

Food was just Ok. I had the fish tacos, flavor was good but as soon as you picked one up about an ounce of liquid pored out. Corn was way over done. Burgers were good chicken ceasar wrap was good as well. Over all not bad but way over priced. Lunch for 4 with drinks $ 150.00 including tip that’s a little much for what you get

We decided to try Busters instead of our usual place and it was okay. The location is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. I had the fish tacos. They were perfectly prepared except for the salsa. Sadly it didn’t taste homemade, but it had a spicy flavor to it. My wife’s fish sandwich actually looked like a frozen piece of fish. The kids burgers looked good, but I expected a bit more from a place that has burger bar in their name.

As an avid Champlins goer my whole life, my family and I had decided to take a chance and try it here. We had the boiled seafood platter, lobster mac, chowder which were all delish!!! The crab legs were very tasty and Mac n cheese was so cheesy and loaded with lobster meat! Our kids had chicken fingers, fries, and mozzarella sticks; they were pretty basic. We did find it to be a bit pricey considering it’s a «clam shack» but the live music was a nice touch to our late lunch! I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone that’s in the area after a beach day or that just wants a fresh seafood meal.

Meghan just made my husband THEBEST Piña Colada he’s ever had… we’ve done a significant number of trips to the Caribbean so he thinks this is an assessment worth posting on-line!

Great staff, awesome personalities and great up selling. Their lobster roll is just like they describe, most expensive and it is colossal! Will definitely be back before the end of the season.

Oh Buster Krab… you make me so mad. I loved this place in the past. The drinks are yummy and the lobster roll… that lobster roll… It was something I dreamt of… until this last visit. It says on the menu you can have it hot… HOT! YES! Mine came out cold… I told my waitress… this is supposed to be hot… Oh sorry… What did she do? She stuck it under the Salamander… and broiled it. What? whatttttttt? I stared at her… I didn’t want to complain… I bit my tongue and asked for a side of melted butter and did it myself. I LOVE lobster and I don’t mind paying for it… but when it’s costing you $ 28.00… you should get it how you want it and educate your staff on how it should properly be done. I’m not saying I won’t be back because this place, in the past… has been everything I’ve wanted and more… I was just extremely bummed this time.

Below average. Though it would be nice night with a large party. They would not do separate checks. We asked and they said that would do gluten free but served broiled scallops with breading. :( Drinks over priced. The menu prices online do not match the current menu prices. Burgers and chicken sandwiches over cooked. Scallops and bacon sandwich had flavor, the lobster sandwich did not! But it did have bones… yum :( Apps were good. I would not return.

Went there for dinner with party of 9 on Sunday of July 4th weekend. We were seated promptly and the staff was very friendly. The food was above average, and the fish tacos were awesome… second only to a small joint I know in San Diego. There wait staff was friendly but short staffed which resulted in it taking about 1 hr for us to get food from the time we sat down. We also had to remind the server that we were still waiting on several meals for our group after what seemed like 5 minutes after they delivered our dinner, and me had to make multiple requests for drink refills. To compensate, they started bringing extra drinks and food items we did not order; oh well. I was a little irritated that my bill automatically had 20% gratuity added given the substandard service. Definitely didn’t meet my service expectations to deserve 20%. If not in a rush, I would eat there again.

The best fish tacos… My only 10! The great barrier reef chips are to die for and the lobster Mac-n-Cheese is loaded with plenty of cheese and lobster.

Well, my husband was craving seafood for fathers day so we drove down to Narragansett. We decided to try something new instead of Georges. I had heard about Buster Krabs through their other restaurant The Abby. The place was cute, an outdoor beach feel with picnic tables and fake palm trees. I wanted the fried oysters but sadly they had a problem with their distributor which I thought was odd since they have plenty of fishing boats pulling in across the street. I settled for their Krabby Patties or crab cakes. They were soggy and mushy. It tasted like canned crab with some spice and a lot of celery and red pepper. From the sauces and cole slaw it all tasted pre packaged. My husband got the fried clams which he said was ok. The best part was my daughters mac and cheese which came in a car topped with a hotdog octopus and gold fish crackers lol

Very pleasant and laid back. Perfect go to after the beach! We arrived for lunch and got to choose where we sat. The menu was so creative and had many different choices to choose from so that was great bc my husband is not a seafood lover like I am. The burgers were so delicious and huge. On point! I split fish and chips and the krabby sandwich w my mom. All delicious. Definitely recommend.

We thought we would try the crazy«new’ place(compared to Georges and Champlins that have been there for 15+ years) with the fake palm tree outside of it. It’s a tiny restaurant, with most seating on the deck. It was nice enough to sit outside(I’m glad as I think it would be very tight if the deck were not open) Even though there was only one other couple eating, we had to wait for the hostess. The other 4 servers chatting apparently couldn’t seat people. Initially, the service was good, but dropped as it got busier from the people getting off the ferry. However, the chowder was very good, and the salad was fresh and good as well. All the restaurants in this area are overpriced for what you get– you are on the water in New England– so even in a tiny shack the seafood was more than you would pay off the water. The drinks are pricey for what you get and on the deck, it’s in a small plastic cup of course. Overall? I’d go back to Champlins before here. Just as rustic but better food.

My husband and I wanderd in to Buster Krabs just out of curiosiy and stayed for a drink which turned into a dinner for 15 when my cousins arrived at our insistence that they come check out the very intersting menu, it has great variety even for non seafood lovers. When a kitchen gets slammed that hard with only two guys running it, serving it and tending bar you might be nervous about the quality and consistancy of the food but no one was disappointed! From the first delicious Clam Cakes and Spnach w/Clam Dip appy(there was a battle going on over the three that were ordered it was that good) to the Fish Tacos(huge chunks of fish, not scraps lke other joints) and Octopus dogs for the kids it was awesome! It’s not the cheapest food on the strip but it IS the BEST food on the strip. If you are in Galilee, heck if you are in Rhody put Buster Krabs on you go to list. Worh the trip!
