Fast service, great food and coffee, low cost. Come here every time I’m in town. A highlight of the trip

Amazing food, great people, the prices are extremely reasonable. I try to stop in every time I go to the beach. You will not be disappointed.

Been inside before and it has always been a good experience. Drove past dunkin and opted to come here sat am memorial day weekend just before 9am and tried the drive thru for the 1st time. Took forever. Pulled up to the speakerphone and was not acknowledged at all. Got to the window and staff said they were too busy taking other orders to take my order. Then they said they were out of cream… Wut. Its like a dunkin next to a bank saying sorry can’t make change. U would think if your dairy delivery was late and u were down to the last gallon of cream u would bite the bullet and have someone walk 10 yards to Roch’s to buy cream. Unreal. I didn’t even give them a hard time about it but the older lady serving me was hardly apologetic.

Plain and simple these are not good bagels. They are not the right texture on the inside or the outside. If you have«bagels» in your name, I expect good bagels. Have given them several tries, never any better. Won’t bother to try again.

One of the top things I miss about living in Bonnet! Every time I’m in the area I have to make a stop! Everything from their bagels, to coffee, to donuts(although I wish they kept Allie’s donuts) is delicious! I often have a hard time deciding what to order because I want it all! It’s a small place that is always busy(lines out the door are the norm no matter what time of day) and they are cash only. My favorite thing to order is an iced vanilla chai which seriously tastes like cinnamon toast crunch cereal, and a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel. The staff is friendly and they keep the line moving quickly so you have to decide what you want rather quickly, and if you’re anything like me, that can be extremely difficult at a place where everything is so good!

Place was jammed. Cash only. Ordered a everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese!!! Was fantastic! Cheap as well… Also picked up a shot donut for a mid afternoon snack that melted in my mouth… If you get the chance stop in over Dunkin any day!

Go there when I’m running late. Good bagels… Skip the coffee it’s very weak. Staff behind the counter esp the owners seems unfriendly.

You will not find a better local coffee shop in South County. The breakfast sandwiches are not only yummy, but very inexpensive.

When I first moved to the area, I heard a lot of good things about this place. I’m quite certain most of these rave reviews were based more on nostalgia than anything else, as Coffee Connection was the only gig in town for some time. There’s more competition now, and I’ve never experienced anything at Coffee Connection that really set them above the rest since they stopped selling Allie’s donuts. Coffee Connection does, however, have brewed flavored coffee(vs shots/syrup) – and they have soy milk, which earns them an additional star from me. Overall, it’s a fine place to stop if you’re passing by(and have cash and can find parking), but not worth going out of your way.

This is a rather happening spot in Narragansett! My friend, who grew up in this town, suggested we come here for breakfast, and we were surprised that there was a line that went out the door. Once we got past the threshold, we found out why there was such a long queue: the prices for everything here were ridiculously cheap. I couldn’t believe that a egg, potato, and cheese wrap was $ 2.00. Back in NYC, I’d find a wrap like that for around $ 5.00. I felt like I was transported to another period of time, where $ 20.00 still felt like a lot of money. Along with my insanely cheap wrap, I decided to get one of their maple glazed doughnuts, which were only $ 0.75 each. My rather carby meal came up to less than $ 3.00. The wrap was actually pretty filling and the doughnut was quite good. I was in absolute disbelief at how cheap this place was. Cash only. Waiting for your order to come out can also get a little confusing as the space is a little tight and when it gets crowded here, as it had been when I went in on a Saturday morning, you’ll feel like you’re getting in the way of other customers. Still, worth checking out for a, once again, ridiculously cheap breakfast.

The coffee and sandwiches are decent. They don’t take credit card — which is inconvenient but understandable. On one particular recent occasion, my family went to get coffees and the girl was not very accommodating. When she handed us the coffee and didn’t mark them on the cups, she told us we would have to figure it out and then shut the window. Ouch.

I just went to the coffee and bagel connection drive up window and waited there for five full minutes and no one came to take my order. Not a good impression at all,

Love this place! Great coffee, fast and friendly service, and cheap, delicious food. I drink my coffee black, but they have good cream substitutions here as well. When I am in the area, I always head here!

I LOVED Coffee Connection in high school. There are some reasons why I do not love it anymore: 1. The coffee is like water and as I have matured, I much prefer stronger coffee. 2. They stopped carrying Allie’s donuts(which was often my only reason for stopping in). 3. They are cash only(and always have been, but it is often prohibitive if I’m in a hurry and have no cash). With that said, it is a very inexpensive place to stop for breakfast or for a sandwich. The one redeeming quality that gets me in there once a year is their chocolate cream cheese muffins. They are so moist and delicious.

I absolutely love Coffee Connection and although I don’t live in the Bonnet Shores area anymore, I still make trips from the Scarborough Beach area just to snag a coffee and a bagel. Reasons why I love Coffee n’ Bagel Connection: 1. It’s SO cheap!(but like I said, be aware that it’s cash only) 2. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing(and with a large coffee only $ 4 and some change) 3.The snickerdoodle iced coffee is one of best of its kind(but be aware, that for some reason it only tastes good with a little almond milk and sugar) 4.The iced vanilla chai(with almond milk) tastes just like cinnamon toast crunch! It’s SO good. 5. The service is fast and friendly. 6. The doughnuts are delicious. Things to be aware of: 1. I can’t say it enough, CASH only 2. Some times long lines(they get through them pretty quickly) 3. They tend to run out of pastries early 4. The drive-thru is not for hot food(order a coffee and goooo) 5. The doughnuts are not Allies anymore, but they’re still amazing. If you take anything from this review, have it be that this place is delicious, cheap, and always worth the trip!

Coffee Connection … Let me start by saying that I have been a customer since they opened, before there was Dunkin Donuts next door or a TLC down the street. I have weathered the storms with the styrofoam cups, broken straws, occassional bad service, and the end of the Allie’s Donuts era here. What I can no longer tolerate is the drive-thru situation. I am a regular customer who comes thru at least 3 times a week. The parking lot is a bit tricky and depending on the season can be downright dangerous, I’m usually in a hurry so I opt for the drive-through, it’s offered and the best option for me. At this time of year, the place is full of college students on their way to class and locals on their way to work. Yesterday, I made my usually stop for an iced coffee, with a little cream and 2 equal. It took me a long time to get it right here. A regular iced coffee is coffee milk, mostly cream. I pulled up to the speaker, and gave my usual order«I’ll have an iced coffee w /a little cream and 2 equal please» as I hear the intermittent static of the speaker. She replies«Was that an iced coffee?» To which I say«yes» and repeat my order. Here we go again. I’m always hopeful… as I pull up to the window. She says«that was a hazlenut?» I say no, and repeat my order for the THIRD time. There is no one Else in the drive-thru except me. I am generally articulate, I talk to people and problem solve all day long, so finally, after years of this, I say to the young woman«Why is it always necessary to repeat the order three times? It is very frustrating» she replies«the intercom isnt very good, its hard to hear» as she hands me my iced coffee which has coffee dripping down the sides. I asked her for a napkin, which she reluctantly hands to me, and then she slides the window shut. Hard. I wipe my coffee cup down, put my change away(’cause its cash only) and slowly pull away, knowing it will be a long long time before I go back. It’s unfortunate because the older woman and gentleman that run the show are quite pleasant. I have several loyalty cards fully punched which entitle me to free coffees, I will give them away. I will be heading to TLC, which recently changed hands, from now on. They do not offer a drive-thru but they do offer safe parking and a do-it-yourself coffee station. It is only a half mile down the street and on my way to work. This was a difficult one to write, but a long time coming.

You can’t beat these prices. They used to carry«Allie’s Donuts» and this is the only context I ever had those in. In the spring, they painted over the«Allies» on the sign so now they just have donuts. It used to be I could get the best apple fritter I ever had in my life here for like $ 1.30. Now I could buy one which is ‘just good.’ Same price, still a good deal, but no longer an Amazing Deal. Cheap bagels, cheap donuts. you can but stuff for under a dollar and it’s waayyyy better than what they’ve got at the Dunkin Donuts next door. I don’t understand why people go to that Dunkin Donuts at all. What have they got? I guess credit card machines. This place is cash only, amigo. n.b. the Seasons/Shell station down the road sells a limited selection of Allie’s from a self-serve countertop plastic display, if you know the style

While I’m on a roll with these two star reviews in Narragansett, I’ll give another! I expected better from a 4 star bagel place. I got a ham egg and cheese on an everything bagel and a cheese bagel toasted with butter. The bagel was small and bland, the sandwich was uninspired. Anyone can throw a piece of lunchmeat ham and cheese on a bagel with an egg and call it a breakfast sandwich. This place makes Brueggers look like a star. Also, they are cash only which never fails to rub me the wrong way. Thanks but no thanks!

The coffee was good enough and the donuts are nice but they are no longer from Allie’s. I didn’t try anything else so I don’t feel qualified to say anything more but I thought It worth making this review just to add that fact. Lots of young people going I and out so it’s popular too.

I didn’t discover this place until I was already halfway through my time at URI which is something I am really upset about. Come in on a weekend morning and there’s always a massive line — with good reason… and no worries it moves quickly. They have really great bagels and a huge selection of cream cheeses. Their iced coffee isn’t coffee shop quality or anything but it’s the best I’ve had from a place like this. They have insanely good doughnuts as well. And the best part — it’s cheap. A bagel with cream cheese and a medium iced coffee comes in at just under $ 4. Best $ 4 you will ever spend for breakfast. Downside: It’s cash only which would be enough to make some people remove a star… but no. It’s a little annoying but not enough to deter me from visiting at least once a week.

This is by far my favorite coffee place in the entire area. If you are in Narragansett/North Kingstown/South Kingstown/Jamestown, then you definitely have to make a stop here! Typically you’ll go in on a Saturday or Sunday and see the line out the door, but the line moves very fast. In all of the years I’ve been coming here, I’ve never once been disappointed. Endless options of bagels, and even when busy they do a great job of keeping everything in stock, because who wants to be stuck with a stale plain bagel? My go to’s here are either the cinnamon raisin bagel, or an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. For iced coffees, they do a great job. They also have a VERY generous size of «Jumbo», a whole 32oz. The parking lot can be a bit tight, and it can be hard to make a left hand turn out of the lot on a busy summer weekend morning. Also, the place is cash only.

In the mood for super affordable bagels? The Coffee N’ Bagel Connection have you covered. They also have a wide selection of coffees, sandwiches, and have Allies Donuts brought in for resale. I come here for the bagels in which they have many varieties to choose from. My favorites are the everything bagel and the sour dough bagel, toasted with cream cheese of course. Their toaster is super efficient so expect a little burnt edges. Which I think gives character and depth of flavor to the bagel and not off-putting at all. The Coffee N’ Bagel Connection stays busy, there are times when lines are out the door. They also have drive thru service as well. I like the local vibe you get when you come into the place. The prices are right and surprisingly affordable cheaper than the chains. If anything I would suggest carrying my favorite salt bagel as well.

I stopped in for a rasberry iced coffee and a willow tree chicken wrap. Both were good and the staff was nice. I love Allies Donuts so that is a bonus. And they are not always gone by mid morning as someone said. I stopped in at 1pm and they had a ton of donuts left. The cookies looked really good but I did not get to try one, next time. Negatives – cash only. I asked for light ice and did not get light ice by any definition. Also, I was put off by the fact that they use styrofoam cups for the coffee. so unnecessary and wasteful.
