I stopped in this little gem of a shop when I spent a day at Narragansett Beach. The shop just opened this spring, and I really hope it does well. It’s a standout in a little strip where the other stores I visited sold typical kitschy beachy stuff or things like signs that say«It’s WINE O’clock somewhere!,» most probably made in China. Simply Natural is like if Etsy, The Body Shop, and Ten Thousand Villages had a lovely little hybrid baby. There is a great assortment of jewelry, bath and body items, home décor, and baby stuff. There is an emphasis on items being natural or organic and fair trade. The shop owner was very friendly, and she in no way made me feel either pressured to buy or scared to break something. Prices are reasonable — not cheap, but fair, based on the uniqueness and quality of the items in the store. This would be a great go-to place for birthday, hostess, or baby/bridal shower gifts or gift add-ons. Some cute souvenir items, too!
