Big Lots stores have a terrible reputation as a gathering place for freaks, degenerates, and undesirables. But this one is kind of decent, seriously. It’s pretty clean, and it’s relatively easy to navigate the store. I stay away from the food, but I like to look at the housewares and the paper products. My sister and I came here, and she purchased like six packages of scrapbooking paper for super cheap. BF and are trying to redecorate inexpensively, and Big Lots has some curtains, blinds, and curtain rods for way less than we could get nearly anywhere else.
So if you want to think less of me because I occasionally shop at Big Lots, go ahead. :)

I am not a huge fan of this store. In fact, I hate going in there.
It’s oddly depressing. I think they only hire Carnies or something. It’s worse than a flea market and when I get home after a visit I end up sitting in the shower curled up in a ball crying for 3 hours.
That being said, they have some cheap stuff occasionally like off brand (read from China and poisonous) energy drinks that are good and only 70 cents. They also sell cheap furniture so if you’re furnishing a room and want to do it really inexpensively they have huge fake leather chairs for under $ 200.
