KFC

Walked in to the employees fighting with each other. Placed the order standard family meal was told 30 mins after I paid. Never will come back after this fiasco.

Don’t even bother going to this KFC. Chances are, whatever it is you want, they’re out of. I’ve been to this location maybe 10 times over the last five years, and NOT ONCE have they had my entire order in stock. They’re always out of something. Want original? Sorry, all they have is extra crispy. Want extra crispy? Oop, too bad, all they have left is a couple of original recipe drumsticks. Want mashed potatoes? Sorry, fresh out.
Tonight was a special fail. They were out of biscuits, out of mac&cheese, out of popcorn chicken, out of chicken tenders, out of coleslaw. Seriously, all they had was extra crispy breasts, mashed potatoes, and a couple of original recipe drumsticks.
Not worth the trouble at all. If you want chicken, take the time to drive to Salem and go to Popeye’s.
Tonight was the last straw. No more KFC, no matter how much the wife insists.

I had been craving KFC for some time and decided to stop into the Main Street store to pick up a mashed potato bowl to go. The girl behind the counter seemed distracted with her co-​workers the whole time she was taking my order and this annoyed me. I ordered the mashed potato bowl meal to go which is advertised as including a cookie and a drink. I got my meal and drink and went home. When I opened the bag I noticed that there wasn’t a cookie. No biggie, but, I did pay for it. I took the lid off of the bowl and dug my spoon in and was about to take the first bite when I noticed a HUGE long hair all over the top of my food. GROSS! I started to pull it out, gagging, when I noticed that one of the pieces of chicken was attached to the end of it and was just hanging there. Puke factor +10. I packed my food up and brought it right back to the store. I spoke with a different employee who had remembered seeing me a few minutes earlier. I told him about the hair in my food and told him about my dissatisfaction. He offered to replace my food, but, I refused and asked for my money back. He refunded me without hesitation. My experience from the moment I walked through the door was way less than stellar. Why aren’t people who are working with food wearing hair nets? Totally disgusting and I will not be visiting that store for a very long time if ever.

Let’s see. $ 6 for a small wing and a average size xtra crispy breast. Plus a white flour dough ball they call a biscuit. Overpriced, cold, and certainly not made fresh. I am guessing about 50+ minutes under their warmer. Market Basket you can get a hot whole roasted chicken and small salad for about $ 6 plus you do not pay a 9% meal tax. And you can get a free cup of coffee while waiting. I haven’t eaten at a KFC for about 10 years. I guess I will wait another 10 years and see if the food improves.

For mediocre «fast» food, this place is great. I had an amazing experience when my girlfriend and I went in there — they helped us get the best deal for our money, everyone was super friendly and casual, and they were mad patient while we were deciding.
When we got to the theatre to see Mockingjay and I opened up my purse to chow on our dinner, we were pleasantly surprised to see they had given us a little extra because we didn’t need a drink with our meal. Average food, smashing customer service.

This place is a hit or miss. It depends on whos cooking and what day of the week. The off days Monday through Wednesday you get the chicken which has been sitting around all day. I complained to the staff about how dried out and tasteless it was and they told me don’t come on the slow days…

Occasionally we ignore our arteries and want to go to KFC, and this branch is very close to our place off Main Street. Easy to miss, this KFC is next to the Golden Dragon (which is an awesome place).
This KFC’s service is horrible. Despite living so close, we would rather drive to Amherst Street if we get a craving for KFC. The wait here always seems to be at least 20 minutes, even though we can see that there is food ready. There are always people waiting for food. Once you finally get it it’s just like any other KFC. There never seems to be enough people working here, or maybe it’s that the people who are aren’t doing much.
The last time we visited this KFC, we were told the wait would be 45 minutes. For fast food chicken. We did not wait, and will not be visiting this branch again.
