So I took my almost 2 year old here yesterday for a simple bang trim. I’m not sure who the stylist was, but she was very friendly. I really wish I had better things to say about my experience. The store closed at 5, I called at 4:30 to see if they would still have time for us, to which they said yes. They took us right away which was great, and the stylist was very accommodating(let my daughter sit on my lap, went slowly, made sure she was comfortable). Unfortunately, I asked for a soft fringe bang, because her hair was constantly in her eyes. To this the stylist said that her hair naturally parted to the side, so she would only be able to do a side bang. Now let me say that I have brought my daughter to Snip-its in Nashua before(they were closed or I would’ve just gone there) and had them do a very nice fringe on her. I part her hair to the side, but it can be cut into a fringe. Either way, I accepted that the stylist knew what she was doing, and let her continue with a side bang. She snipped one piece of hair, barely making a difference, and said she was done. I asked if it could be made shorter, as there was still very clearly hair in her eyes. She cut a little bit more, and angled the opposite side. When she was done I thought it looked ok, not good, but ok. Upon closer inspection at home though, I realized that her bangs were not cut even remotely close to correct. If she kept her hair exactly in the spot it was in when it was cut, it looked somewhat even. But when I brushed her hair and tried parting it the way I normally do, she had chunks of hair still in her eyes, while her under-bangs were cut almost to her hairline. The length of the bangs goes from super short, to not even trimmed, completely uneven. If I had wanted an uneven cut, I would’ve done it myself. Now her hair is still too long in her eyes, but too short to pull back into a ponytail or bow, which was previously my go-to hairstyle for her. I’m not sure if it was because the store would be closing soon and the stylist was rushing, or because she realized she had messed up and was trying to fix it by attempting to make the other side more flattering. My daughter was very cooperative and stayed still the entire time, so it was due to no error on her part. Needless to say, I will not be coming back here. If they can’t handle a simple bang trim, I hate to see what they would do with an actual haircut. Besides my experience though, the store was clean, and the staff were friendly. There was also a small basket of toys in the waiting area for the kids to play with while they waited. I was really hoping for a pleasant trip all around, and am sorely disappointed that I left unsatisfied, and continue to become more displeased the more I look at my daughter’s hair.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Hollis, NH
Sadie cuts my hair. I go where she goes. She’s amazing. This is an easy location to find. Parking is close to entrance, convenient, safe. I drive to exit 4 from exit 6 and backtrack a little rather than taking exit 5E, which is more direct but poses greater risk of accident in my unscientific estimation. The space is very open inside. Sunlight floods the large windows and it almost feels like outdoor seating. There are lots of comfortable seats to accommodate waiting guests, and there are magazines to read if you forgot your book at home. I really like this location. In the summertime, stop by Hayward’s ice cream by Rivier College(exit 4) after your haircut.
