Haven’t tried Sal’s in a long time, was craving a slice. Just ordered a large cheese, seemed a little undercooked but the cheese and sauce was very fresh. Prices are way over priced for pizza, if they dropped their prices I would definitely be back.

I had to write something after seeing the poor reviews for Sal’s Nashua from several years ago. Seriously, ignore them and try this place out. Sal’s is our favorite pizza place in Nashua by far(we have tried them all). This is the only place we go get pizza now. Huge slices and friendly service.

Under new management, this place rocks! We called our order in ahead and my husband went to pick it up. It was ready when he got there, and by the time he got home(15 min.) everything was still warm. The manager, Josh, was polite and courteous on the phone placing my order as well. The old management was awful and we stopped going after our first visit, but the place now has done a 150% turnaround!

Their pizza is actually very good for this area. It’s the closest thing to NY style pizza in the area, but considering most of the competition either does Greek style or sweet sauce, it’s not like it’s hard to be #1 in that regard. That said, this is like the fourth time I’ve tried to place an order for delivery before 7pm and been told that they’ve shut down deliveries for the night. Give me a break, are you a bank? It’s 6:45 pm. Closing at 8 on weeknights is pretty pathetic for any establishment where people would be likely to get dinner, it’s not like you’re open for breakfast(I mean, if you are, you should rethink that). 9 on weekends is slightly better, but not by much. The only upside to the customer service is that the people on the phone generally speak English and are aware that they sell pizza unlike a couple years ago. That’s pretty much it. Insubordinate and churlish.

Under new management, dropped a star(for me) since last year. I don’t really have anything to add to others’ reviews, except that the oversized slices have gone up in price(too high now for the value), and the grated parm I shook in my slice was actually sour, and ruined my pizza. When I complained, I was told that the particular brand they used just tasted like that: WTF kind of answer is that? And, if it really did(and was not just a bad bag), why the hell wouldn’t you warn people? Needless to say, it’s my last trip there, which is a shame, as it’s the least greasy pizza in the downtown area(have not tried Portland Pie Co. yet).

Without a doubt the weakest link in the Sal’s chain. From countless order fails and inconsistencies to half-cooked pizza deliveries, this franchise only tarnishes Sal’s name and reputation. Stay away.

Hit or miss at Sal’s. I’m not sure if it varies by location, but the one in Nashua is inconsistent. The margarita pizza can be good when cooked right. You can get a «19″ 3lb pizza» for like $ 10+tax, so if you’re hungry, it’s not a bad deal. Coupons/discounts available.

Definitely mediocre. Pizzas are large, but one half step up from Domino’s in quality. There are 2 or 3 places within walking distance that are better than this, including Espresso’s and Nashua House of Pizza. They also got my orders wrong fairly frequently when I bought from them

every single time I have been to this place they have screwed up something about my order. This time, which will be my last, they refused to accept their own coupon! They admitted it was theirs and it was valid, but they wouldn’t take it. The manager could not even tell me why(his English was so poor), but he flat out refused it. No more Sal’s for me. this place is a disgrace. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

This is one of Sal’s newer locations(amongst several others around Massachusetts and New Hampshire). I remember in elementary school when they would have Sal’s Pizza Day, when, for $ 1.25 you could get a slice of Sal’s cheese pizza for lunch, and you had to beg your parent(s)(in my case, my mom) to have the money to buy lunch that day so you could have it, because it was a rare treat. I truly enjoy Sal’s Pizza, and I was quite excited when they opened this location in Nashua(being from Hudson, it became the closest one, without having to drive to Salem, NH or Lowell, MA). Their pizza’s, simply, taste really good. You can, essentially, have whatever you want for toppings… their crust is delicious, and they make Giant Pizza’s, which are most excellent. You get a lot of Pizza for your money. Kudos, Sal’s. Kudos.
