The make up selection is strong, and the store is good at keeping things in stock consistently. The layout and operation of the store could be better. When it’s busy, the staff and management are seemingly running around, which negates that peaceful, serene atmosphere I enjoy when shopping for make up. I have been to many boutiques that are extremely busy, but due to the management and atmosphere of staff, it never feels hectic. The experience of the staff varies– sometimes you will get someone assigned to a brand that they know nothing about and you’re on your own, and sometimes you will come across someone who has wonderful suggestions and is eager to help and provide insight. Overall, I rate this store 4 stars because the selection of product is very consistent and although the operations could certainly be improved, the majority of the employees seem very kind and polite. My recommendation is to go in knowing what you want, because depending on how busy the store is and who is assigned where, the staff may or may not be able to provide insight.

worst Sephora I’ve ever been to! The crew enjoy chatting more than helping out customer. When I needed advice, they actually just said something and stood there looking bored. It’s like«whatever just buy it». Spent over 100 and didn’t get any sample!

It’s the WORST Sephora I’ve ever been to. 1. The crew there are very, very rude. 2. They ‘accidentally’ forgot to apply 20% coupon* after I asked them to. And if I haven’t checked the price on screen, I would never knew it! — Once we call it an ‘accident’, but I happened to shop twice today, and it happened TWICE. 100% huh! (about the 20% coupon thing: it’s annually event in sephora so every staff knows it and it’s the only available coupon in store)

This is your typical Sephora that most of us girls love and cherish. But one thing did catch my attention today… As I was testing out a mascara, a sales associate came over to me and told me not to use the mascara wand that the brand had designed for hygenic reasons. I understand what she was saying, but I think everyone going into Sephora knows the risk when they try out the samples… I thought the point of having the makeup out was to try them. Especially considering half of what makes a mascara –in particular– GREAT is the design of the wand. I was hoping I could find a great mascara today, but unfortunately I couldn’t get a good sense of any of the products without trying the exact models and ultimately felt uncomfortable about my shopping experience.
