Rude owner — you have got our last dollar. We have eaten at Seedling a lot as our business is very local. Collectively our business pumps in north of $ 300 a week to the Café. When asking the owner about a potential discount on soda or other items — we were met with a «why don’t you go get a raise at your company before you heckle a small business for a free soda refill». The wait staff is great but our business will find a new avenue for food during the week.

Stopped in last Thursday and got one of their specials: a Reuben sandwich. Absolutely terrible. By the time I got back to my office, the bread was soaked through and dripping soggy since they didn’t drain and press excess liquid out of the sauerkraut. I pulled the bread off and toasted it just so I could dry them out a bit and eat it, but didn’t matter. The corned beef was really fatty and so incredibly tough I could barely chew a piece off. The whole sandwich went into the trash. Very disappointing and will not go back.

Special for today is the Poached Ginger Pear salad. It would probably have been good except for the fact that the pears were not on the salad, nor did they have any to put on the salad. It was the special for the day. How does that happen? The server said… and I quote… It’s all good. Really? Um, no. It is not all good.

I was super impressed with this random find in Nashua. Both the girls in the store front were exceptionally kind. The«Jeff» sandwich and the soup were fabulous. I was under the weather and this place hit the spot. I am a sucker for great service! I would’ve given five stars if this place served breakfast all day. After all they close at three.

After installing my masterpieces on the 7th floor for City Arts Nashua’s 11th Annual Art Walk, I was getting a bit hungry so I went to Seedling Café located on the 2nd floor. At Seedling Café, they serve breakfast items(omelette, burrito, benedict, sandwiches, pancakes, French toast, etc), wraps and sandwiches, and salads. I ordered a Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad which consisted of a blend of mixed greens and spinach topped with herbed chicken, craisins, walnuts, grape tomatoes, cucumber, and red onions and served with homemade cranberry vinaigrette on the side. I liked how the salad was fresh and the dressing wasn’t tart and contained cranberry purée or cranberry sauce. However, I would have preferred candied walnuts over plain walnuts. It would bring the salad to a whole new level.

As far as places in this area goes, this is a top favorite for lunch. Some of its kind of basic but a lot of it is fresh and good. Most restaurants in this area sell mostly deep fried junk, and although I’ve had better, I have yet to find better in NH.

I go in here many weekends with the family for breakfast. I hate waiting in lines for breakfast which seems like the standard for most decent or cheap breakfast places but you wont have that issue here because of the location and size of the restaurant. Its kid friendly and the wait staff is always the same two or three people one of which I believe is the owner. They are always friendly. Food is not 5 stars but some menu items are interesting like the green eggs and ham and the portions and flavor is as good as any other diner around with less sugar and salt than an IHOP. Great choice if you dont like big crowds and you just want to sit down and eat with the kids.

Stopped by here for a lunch. Got the Stevie. It was very delicious, it sounded very south western so I was a little hesitant. It had just enough of the southwestern taste without going too far. This is a place I can leave in Nashua still feeling wholesome after I eat a sandwich. FREEPARKING on the ramp downtown is a nice perk also, don’t have to worry about feeding the meter.

I have been to Seedling café several times and I always enjoy it! Went for breakfast this morning and got 2 eggs any style with wheat toast and it was delicious. I really liked that the food wasn’t super greasy. It’s never too crowded, plenty of spots to park, tasty healthier options, and friendly staff. The clear coffee mugs are cool too!

I’ve been a big fan of a Seedlings for years. It’s gone downhill ever since the first owner sold it. I agree with some of the other reviews that this location and the hospital cafeteria ambience as well as the unengaged staff are nailing the coffin for me. I miss the creative organic salads and large wraps they used to have as the portions have inconsistently gotten smaller and more expensive. I do agree that if you’re in the area since the parking is now free it may be worth a try to run in and grab takeout and maybe you’ll luck out!

Let me say this. I miss the old location. Yeah the parking sucked, but well worth the price of a meter. New location is desolate and boring and sterile and no fun. zero ambiance. Luckily the food was good. I ordered the Jack as I have always done in the past. The only criticism I have would be that the cheese was all on one side of the wrap. The Broccoli soup was delicious and very filling. Would I go back. yes. but let preface that with I would not go as a destination restaurant. If I was in the area then yes. This would change if the ambiance would change. it’s just so awful. Oh yeah. I very much enjoyed the wait staff. nice friendly and accommodating

Saw the positive reviews on here so I decided to head in for breakfast. After we ordered coffee and it came several minutes later, I noticed that the menu said breakfast only ran until 11am, and it was 11:03am so I made sure it was still ok to order breakfast. The server said no, even though we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. I’m not sure if she thought we were coming in for an 11am lunch starting with coffee, but she quickly reminded me that it was out of her control, not her policy. «He already shut the griddle off for the day.» Really? Too hard to turn on a griddle and throw a few eggs on? I was pretty surprised there was zero attempt to deviate from the rigid 11am lunch switchover protocol, and even more surprised we got charged fully for the coffee we didn’t drink even though one cup was only half full because they«ran out». What a joke of a restaurant.

Went here today after hearing wonderful things about seedling café ! Super disappointment ! Had caprese salad– chicken was so dry & cold could barely swallow it. My husband & children had wraps that were dry & bland. $ 42 of wasted money as none of us enjoyed anything we ate.

Love their wraps. My favorite wrap isn’t on the menu anymore but they still make it for me :) The owners are very nice and they definitely care about the quality of there food. Great fresh and healthy options

I called in to order the Jack wrap at around 12:20 on a Monday afternoon. Estimated pickup time: 10 minutes. Which surprised me, because in the past, I’ve had to wait 30 – 40 minutes when I called in a lunch order. It probably took me longer than that to get there, as I wasn’t exactly sure where the new location was and passed it the first time since there’s no sign at the entrance to the parking lot. It cost $ 8.60 for a tasty wrap with turkey, bacon, avocado, corn, baby spinach, gorgonzola, and ranch dressing, plus a small bag of chips. Not bad. If you’re looking for a quick sandwich or salad made with fresh local produce, Seedling Café is the way to go.

Love this place. I do agree with one of the previous reviewers that the new location does feel a little like a hospital cafeteria. It needs some more café ambiance. That aside, the new location has WAYMORE parking and is free– no more meters! I am a loyal customer that will return but please, work on the ambiance!

New location feels like you’re in a hospital cafeteria. Also new waitstaff is kind of rude. I forgot to order salad dressing and when she came out to ask if I wanted any she told me «I was lucky she was asking and that she wouldn’t do it next time.» Parking is a plus though and food is always great.

Fantastic sandwiches and breakfast. They are only open for lunch and breakfast so if it’s after 1PM check before you go, to be sure they’re open. New location is much bigger, has more than enough free parking(a problem at the old location). You MUST try the roast beef hash. Huge portion, delicious, you won’t be disappointed. Clear glass coffee mugs are really cool; it’s minor, but the only criticism I have is that the silverware seems really chintzy and ‘weak’… they should consider something more substantial. If you like the City Room, and the Midfield Café(two other great Nashua breakfast/lunch haunts) you must try the Seedling Café.

New location is great. More parking and easier to get to. Food is always amazing, fresh and well prepared.
