Never again.

1) They did not torque my lug nuts to the 76 foot pound Toyota specification after inspecting the brakes. I found some nuts were torqued too high while others were too low, a safety hazard.

2) They also failed the car for having worn rear brake shoes even after I showed them a picture of the thinnest part of the brake shoe measured with calipers as being more than twice the legal minimum 2/32" thickness. They use a less precise measuring device that they claim is prevalent in the industry. They claimed once the vehicle is entered into the state system as failed, the report cannot be changed and the brake shoes must be replaced to pass.

I took my car there for an inspection and the staff was rude and not very knowledgeable about state law. I had to leave and go down the street. I will never go there again. Very unprofessional crew.

Reviewing old maintenance bills due to a recent issue. I don’t normally use this station but noticed bill padding in my 2012 bill for «premium» oil filter. Check your bill carefully.

I choose to go out of my way to keep coming back to this place. At some of the other Valvolines, they try to sell you really hard on $ 20 wipers and air filters. Not here. If you say you don’t want them, you’re done. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. I can’t remember the guy’s name, but he has a huge beard, and he’s awesome!
The Unilocal coupon is usually better than the generic coupons. I saved $ 7 instead of $ 5.

ATTENTION WOMEN: I’ve been there for oil changes many times, and never had an issue — I sent my girlfriend there on April 9, 2015 and they told her that she needed a new serpentine belt because hers «was frayed». She told me what they said and the $ 100 price they quoted her, I told her to make sure to bring the old belt home. They attempted to show it to her quickly and throw it away, but she made sure she got the belt — the belt looks EXACTLY the same as a new belt I had just purchased for another vehicle. Jeremy the CSR and Doug the «mechanic» took advantage of a woman to get an additional $ 100 — THAT IS THE KIND OF BUSINESS THEY RUN. AVOID VALVOLINE in Nashua unless you want to be taken for a ride. They lost my business, her business, and everyone we know.

Quick oil service with technicians verbally double checking everything thing they did to inspire confidence it was done right. The price was good with my coupon, but I’m not sure I’d pay full price. Definitely convenient to stay in the car instead of crawling under it or having to deal with disposing of the old oil though.
Unfortunately, the guy who identified himself as the manager repeatedly insisted that we needed to buy the expensive synthetic oil or it would void our car’s warranty. After declining several times, he still said «I’m just letting you know so you’re not surprised when you find out the warranty is void.» and made me sign a receipt under a statement of «Customer requested wrong oil.»
But that was totally totally made up. Our vehicle’s manual says to use SAE 0w20 or 5w20 weight oil, with no mention of organic or synthetic. The 5w20 standard Valvoline oil I was trying to purchase was 100% fine. We have purchased other non-​synthetic oil changes directly from the dealership, and I am positive it does not affect the vehicle’s warranty at all. It was a straight up scare tactic and bad salesmanship.
I’d probably still be willing go back if I had another coupon, but do not trust anything the salesman says about warranties.

Fast, friendly, no problems for an oil change. In and out in about 15 minutes. No pressure to upsell.

Mrs. MacDuck and I have had our Rolls serviced there twice and both times were met by friendly staff who got us in and out quackly. We feel there is a noticeable difference in how our Rolls drives afterwards, that and the pleasant experience from the friendly staff keeps us coming quack, not to mention they’re a little easier on the ‘ol coin vault than other places. Keep up the good work, fellas!

I had an oil and filter change here in December. Price quoted on the phone was the same as at the shop. Up sell (air filters, etc.) was minimal and gentle. Service was prompt, staff was polite. I’ve had bad experiences with similar companies and was very happy with the service at this shop.

Used this location for an oil change and to replace one of my front headlights. I had three associates working on my car. All was well, till I got home that night and discovered that the headlight they replaced was not working. I called the location the next day and was told to jiggle the connection and it should work. When I got into the area to do what that told me I discovered that they had broken the plastic connector that holds the bulb in place. I left it, not working, and went back to the location when I was able. I live quite a few miles away so I wasn’t able to get there right away.
When I was able to get there, they remembered my phone call about the issue. When they looked into it. I even gave them the broken plastic piece that came off, the tech/​manager said «it takes a lot to break they piece». The response after looking into it was «It’s an electrical problem.“and they they weren’t equipped so do anything about it. I needed to bring it to a mechanic. When I brought up the fact that they had replaced the bulb and there was no issue, nor did they till me there was in issue with the plastic connector when they replaced the bulb. I got nothing other than an shrug, a look, and a sorry like it was my fault. I was on my own to fix what has now become my problem. They didn’t offer a credit for the bulb that now doesn’t work, they put the non-​working bulb back in and sent me on my way.
Unhappy, unsatisfied, and feeling like I went to a garage that isn’t capable of providing proper customer service when they make an error. They just want In and out service, and are not interested in making an issue right for the customer when they created the new problem. Bad form!!! A simple bulb replacement has now turned into a bigger expense for me and more time for me to correct the issue they created.

Was not impressed with my first service. Went in for sticker. 2 hours and 30 minutes later left there. Communication horrible. Wont go back

Great service! The oil change was super fast and service was excellent. I even had bought an air filter I was going to install once I got home after my oil change and they noticed it was in the back of my car and threw it in for me for free. I got a tire rotation too and that was incredibly fast. They squeezed me in between inspections and I even noticed that they had a few guys working in the car so they could swap all the tires at once, super fast, well done!

I go here for my oil changes and they are very fast and efficient! They have a good system and the guys are friendly. I gave it four stars because it is definitely pricey, but I will only put synthetic in my car and that adds to the bill. I like that you just sit in your car while they do everything and they keep you informed of everything that they are doing.

Caveat Emptor
I stopped there for an oil change and transmission fluid change; my first time in a Valvoline. When I inquired about the price of the transmission fluid change, I was quoted $ 149.99 for just the transmission work. I was shocked that it was so much so I clearly asked him to repeat the price, if that was the cheapest option and to explain what the work consisted of. The work was just to remove the fluid and add new fluid, that is, no fancy flushing or other extras and it would take just 10 minutes.
This sounded like way too much for that type of service which I confirmed by looking in my maintenance journal for the last transmission fluid change from another quick lube type of place, which also included new air filter and oil change, and all of that was just $ 110. While sitting in the car (I liked that feature of their service), I called my mechanic and he said he normally charges $ 65 for that type of work. Valvoline wanted more than twice that. I told them no thanks and opted for the $ 39.99 oil change.
I understand a business wanting to make money but their prices for the fluid change were way out of the norm (which is within their rights to charge whatever they want) and I felt that if I didn’t know any better, I would have overpaid significantly. That left me with a bad feeling and I vow never to have service done with Valvoline again… so yes, it is caveat emptor for me but I am also letting my dollars do the talking for me.

Wonderful staff who are attentive and helpful. I’m not one who knows much about cars, so they walk me through the process. I love the service, so I will keep going back no matter what the cost.

Went to this location to get a standard oil change today with my 5 year old son in the back seat and I was called an asshole by the associate on duty, Steve. I will never return and my son learnt a new word! Horrified!

This place is pretty good. The staff is friendly and you can get an oil change in under 15 minutes w/​o getting out of your car.
It’s expensive depending on what oil you use, I think I pay around $ 90 per oil change but I’m sure you can get a $ 30 or $ 40 option as well.
They offer some kind of engine warranty if you get your oil changed there every 3k miles. And they do top offs in between changes for free.

You guys rock. I have had an oil change, state inspections. Great experience. John is a great guy.
My fear always was that places like this would take you for a spin even if you do not need to get things fixed, vavoline does just what is needed — Awesome.
