Went there about two weeks ago, location made up for the mediocre food but they ran our card for an even $ 50 when the total bill was ~$ 35. Waited a little while to make sure the charge didn’t adjust itself once cleared and it did not. Called and left them a message informing them of the issue and have not heard anything back again.

Went to Blue Moon tonight, June 30, and I will say I had the worst service in 20 years of dining out in Nashville. 15 minutes before they took drink orders and never came back to the table after taking our orders — the food was delivered by another waitress. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. Food was mediocre. Why come here when there are tons of better options in Nashville.

Great place to have a drink and visit with friends on the water. The food is very average. I like the food better before it reopened. I don’t know for sure but have heard Nashville now owns it? could explain the average food.

BAD food lol. I think we may’ve ordered the wrong thing? Super crappy fish tacos. Service was ok– I think maybe she was new. The band was pretty good but yeah, probably wont go back. Maybe for drinks? I wasnt’ crazy about what was available on tap. Eh.

5 stars for ambience/3 stars for food so overall I would give it 4 stars. Great place to relax and enjoy the water. Their«jumbo» shrimp is just regular sized frozen shrimp. Nothing jumbo about it! I’ll be back I’m sure because I really did like the dock seating and live music.

Good water front food. Good service. The chicken wrap was really good as was the rest of my parties meals. BLT, Cobb salad and chicken sandwich. No complaints and will return.

A nice place to listen to some yacht rock and enjoy a mahi mahi filet on salad greens.

I love Blue Moon! Service is great and the food is good. The wing are amazing! We look forward to coming here every season because it’s really peaceful being on the water. Check out their Facebook page because they have live music.

I hadn’t been to the Blue Moon since before the flood. It was our 5th Anniversary so I thought this would be a fun place to go… and it was for the most part. It was Sunday around 5pm. Fairly busy, but no wait. Well, except our wait for our server. About 10 minutes then decided to go to the bar. Suddenly our server popped up out of nowhere and told us, «Oh don’t be like that.» Referring to us going to the bar. Don’t be like what? Thirsty? She wouldn’t give us her real name until we were about to leave. Weirdly sarcastic the whole time, inattentive, and had an «I don’t care» attitude. Don’t think I’ve ever tipped that low in my life. Just so everyone out there knows… restaurant work is HARDWORK! I’ve worked in restaurants most of my life in every facet. The thing is… if you’re in a bad mood that day, SUCKITUP and put a smile on your face. Your guests pay your bills!!! Anyway, GM and AGM were very accommodating and tried hard to have us leave on a positive note. Thanks guys! We ordered the calamari to start. Lots of crumbs and the portion size was rather small. I got the salmon. Tasted good and cooked fine, but you can leave off that tasteless white cream sauce. Did nothing for it. Yellow rice and broccoli were very good. Hubby got catfish basket and liked it. The ambiance was really great. We posted a selfie on FB and one of our friends said it looked like a cool place so he ended up coming for dinner and drinks too. Overall a pretty good experience and will definitely go back. Will try other dishes and hopefully«what’s her name» won’t be there.

Our first visit since 1999, seriously our expectation was low but they delivered high. Just eating outdoors on the water even if its just a wee stretch was delightful. Seating was fast, service by the lovely April a pleasure and the food perfectly proportioned and washed down with some chardonnay. Aroound $ 50 for brunch with a couple wines each was A-OK

Two stars for the atmosphere. That’s about the only redeeming quality for this place. The food is terrible and over priced. Go here for ambiance, not a good meal…

Blue Moon… oh, how I have missed you! I’ve had to wait too long for that delicious Bbq sandwich! This saucy bbq sandwich on a pretzel bun with a side of slaw and fries… yumm-o! My mouth is watering remembering it. This is the perfect place for drinks with friends or to take your family for lunch or dinner. Will see you again soon!

I just ate at Blue Moon this weekend after wanting to go for years. We finally got together with some friends and decided to make the trek. The ambiance is great with the fountains spraying from the retaining wall and the clean and fairly beachy-feeling décor. We started with the calamari which was extremely tiny pieces of lightly breaded rubber. I’m assuming these have been sitting in the deep freeze since last Summer. By far the worst calamari anyone has ever been shameless enough to serve me. The pork nachos were actually pretty good. I had the shrimp and mahi tacos. The shrimp was very small and seemed to have spent some time in the freezer with the calamari. The mahi was so-so. My wife had the catfish po boy which was almost good, but the fish was a bit on the squishy side in the middle. One bite was enough for me. Our kid’s chicken fingers were undercooked and had to be sent back. The service was good, however. Bottom line, come for drinks, but grab a bite before-hand. You are sure to experience that this is not inspired or even considerate cuisine, but a low cost/high profit operation. All possible corners have been cut.

The view is the only reason to come here, and to drink. Food was just OK. Took an hour to get food. this isn’t the same as it once was.

Wanted some place out of the ordinary for my wife and I to eat and Blue Moon Grill at Rock Harbor Marina was the place. We ordered the black Angus burger and grilled Mahi Mahi and we’re not disappointed. The portions were generous and done to a tender turn, full of flavor, especially the Mahi Mahi. Staff was attentive and engaging even staff not assigned to our table removed dishes. Special kudos to Cade for being professional and engaging even while leveling a rocking table. Don’t count calories especially if you order desert. Cumberland Mud Pure highly recommended! Price wise, Blue Moon is on par with other mid level resturants in the city. It’s not fast food, just good food in a unique location on the water. Truly a worthwhile diversion from the ordinary.

Have been wanting to come here for awhile, finally made it for Sunday brunch. The steak and eggs were perfect. My steak was tender, cooked correctly and flavored to perfection. It was just enough food to fill you up without stuffing you. My waitress was of all names Abby Lane. LOL She was friendly and fast and attentive. My glass was never empty and she alway asking if we needed something to make sure we were taken care of. It is an open air venue so on a hot sticky day I’m not sure I would have enjoyed it as much as this morning with low humidity and a gentle breeze but I’m betting the food would still be good. I will defiantly return for the seafood that they are supposed to be known for.

My first experience here since the flood. I ordered the steak medallions and they were inedible. Steak was chewy, full of gristle and not even a knife could slice through them. The waitress acknowledged seeing all the gristle in the pile of meat left on my plate, never sent a manager, and charged me for the entire plate. The broccoli on the side was decent. This was a great disappointment. I’ll give them another shot in case this was a bad day, but so far the Blue Moon has left a bad taste in my mouth.

A Sunday lunch with my daughter. The day was warm and sunny and this, I thought would be a nice place to have lunch. Well the environment is pretty and overlooks the water the food was way over priced. The food was meh… so. so! I had the cobb chicken salad with blue cheese dressing. The chicken was dry and bland. My daughter had the chicken tacos and said that they were good. She had a sprite and me: one mimosa. Our total bill $ 42.00. I guess we were paying for the view. Nice place to visit for a drink and enjoy the environment, but I will not return to eat.

Great Seafood and great atmosphere too! The calamari was not too breaded and the seafood platter I had was awesome! They have live bands playing too the server told me!
